Beautiful view, clean and spacious room, private onsen, friendly helpful staff
4.1
The room and hotel facilities are superb!!
The access from station. The slope quite steep. Better take taxi if carrying luggages.
4.1
Very clean, polite staff, and much nicer than we were expecting.
There was confusion with our breakfast time on both days. This wasn’t an issue at all and was resolved very quickly!
4.1
This place was beyond expectations
A real profound treat
Don’t give up the great food
Nothing it was perfect
4.1
Meals were excellent. We had both breakfast and dinner.
4.1
I liked how it looked the restaurant and tea room, shuttle bus was good
Front service was inconvenient, room was spacious but beds mattress were cheap.
Bathroom was old and small, room had strange wood smell.
I wish they catered for western people, as we requested to have light breakfast but seemed too hard for the chef to fry some simple eggs.
They should have had buffet breakfast instead of fixed course meal.
Also booking meal time was inconvenient for people who have other plans.
4.1
Rooms were clean with a great view. Staff was wonderful!
Charge per person per night, location is beautiful but everything around it closes very early.
4.1
The hotel is small but it is really cute and thoughtful. Really clean, the staff are friendly, breakfast was great. The price is just right. Overall it was a wonderful experience! Good jobs!
So far I couldn’t find one.
4.1
The staff was really polite, free coffee/cacao 24/24, free ice pop stick. I really like the bed, it's comfy. There is free yukata and there is a jacuzzi onsen outdoor (only for men).
The hotel is on a hill, quite difficult to walk there with luggage. Didn't know that there was a free pick up service from/to the train station :/
4.1
Large rooms yet cozy, big couch, free shuttle to Gora Station and more freebies (drinks, ice pops, yukatas), friendly staff, easy chek in, their electric kettle (haha!)
late check in and early check out conpared to other hotels, and the location (it's not that far from the station, but the steep road to get there makes it difficult to go on foot)
4.1
Onsen, Ice cream, free beverages, kind staff
WiFi ok but could be better

Very silent place

Many choice of Yukata and tasty breakfast!
Too long, curved, high angle climbing to go hotel. This is Hakone, but anyway sometime scarily.

Room was very spacious. Location was great - down the street from Gora Park and Koen-shimo station of the Hakone Tozan cable car. You can get to Owakudani, Hakone open air museum, and the Hakone museum easily.
The hill going to the hotel was very steep and was difficult to climb before we learned about the cable car station, so it's not the best for travellers that might have some physical difficulties. A reservation for dinner at the restaurant needed to be made by 4pm, so you either eat in or out. There is are a couple of dinner places around, but the general area and the station closes early. The only convenience store nearby closed before 7pm.

We unexpectedly needed last minute accommodation and booked in a slightly panic. However, we were really pleased with our choice. The location is brilliant (right next to the amazing Gora bar and grill). The staff were lovely- they even moved us into a more appropriate room and gave the kids Haribo. They went out of their way to find us nappies when we realised that we’d forgot them. Also, there were alcoholic welcome drinks :)
It’s a little dated- but the rooms are big. The onsen is nice and a good size but is indoors.

The beds was very nice. The fridge in the room help a lot since I bought a lot of snacks and foods.
The Wi-Fi was bad. Connection drop and very slow load times.
4.1
The staff was very nice, the room was very spacious and clean. Not many visitors in this season so the Onsen was a very nice experience.
Also, I booked 2 breakfasts and they were very delicious, I highly recommend it.
The wifi was too slow and weak, it takes too much time to load a page/app/notification.
Dont book the 2nd room, there's no view from it.
The elevator is quite small and old type.
Also, you may have to wait a bit breakfast. Also, in my second morning, there's no one in instruction area to guide me.

I went during the week and the price is really cheap. Right next to the Gora garden and museum. Great value for the price!
The room is quite old and furnitures are kinda worn out/ripped and feels a bit dirty, especially the sofa chairs. The public bath floor also feels a bit dirty.
Internet is pretty slow at night.

Awesome location. Good size room. Nice onsen. Free parking. Nice AC.
The WiFi did not work in my room. Traveling for fun with some time allotted for work, i was unable to work due to the weak WiFi in the room. Traveling also means I want to share my experiences with social media and the weak WiFi made it not possible. I was not asked to show any proof of identification. The Lady at the front desk asked for just my name.
