The Villa is a magnificent Indian-style colonial house built in 1885, fully restored and equipped. It has 700m2 built, in a fully fenced farm of 2.5 hectares. It has a maximum capacity for up to 31 people, distributed in 10 spacious and comfortable rooms.
Outside you can enjoy a 2000m2 garden, barbecue, wood oven, pool and bathhouse.

It is 5 minutes from the beach and a little away from the town. The house offers a lot of privacy and different spaces for its guests. It is an ideal home for large families or groups, a safe and category choice.

We spent one week in this wonderful house with a group of 23 teenagers and we loved it! Jaume (the owner) is a really nice person that helped us at any time and even drove us to the supermarket because we had no car. The villa is beautiful and has got everything you can think of (pool, ping pong table, barbecue and even a paella-maker). Plus, the surroundings are beautiful and Arenys de Mar is a very nice little town! All in all, we had a fabulous and memorable class trip! Thank you very much Jaume

This was the most amazing property to stay at - such a beautiful building with a wealth of space and breathtaking grounds. Jaume kindly hosted us as a large Sailing Squad who were training and then competing at an International Event. The accommodation was absolutely fantastic, the space available ensured our sailing team had suitable venues for briefings and coaches but also areas to ensure we could wind down and relax after a long day on the water. Jaume couldn't have been more helpful to us, he ensured we were supported with airport transfers, local restaurants and spent many a wonderful evening with us showing us the local delicacies and entertaining our team. He really is the best host we could have asked for. Thank you so much for accommodating us - we will definitely be returning next year.

This is great Villa with a huge pool. Jaume was brilliant and in constant contact with us , with any issues we had . Perfect for a large group , with lots of shady spots to hide away in the grounds . Would definitely recommend to others . A nice touch was the vegetable patch where we picked fresh tomatoes ,courgettes and aubergines . Also loved the barrel of beer connected up outside to give us on tap beer .The outdoor cooking facilities were amazing , especially the pizza oven . My only criticism would be that the indoor kitchen was tiny , but we never really cooked inside so this wasn’t an issue . Overall , a fantastic stay !

Great accomodation which far surpassed its online listing. The range of spaces in and around the villa were perfect for us. Jaume was an incredible host and was attentive from the second we booked. He showed us everything around the villa including his growing orchard and the local animal sanctuary. Couldn't have asked for anything more. We all really hope to return in the future.

We where a group of 19 persons, and had a wonderful time here. The villa was clean and nice. We also love the pool area, pizza oven and the BQQ. Everyone had a great time here, I would absolutely recommend this place.

I really recommend this place for groups of friends, families, work outings (where fast wifi is not critical). We used the villa for a work trainings-week. It was great for it as there was plenty of space for break-outs and in the evenings we could connect with each other over a BBQ or during table tennis/volleybal. The place is ~15min walk from the beach, there are a few bars/restaurants there. It's a bit farther from the city center / supermarket, so definitely recommend to bring a car. The host, Jaume, is very helpful and friendly. He helped us with reservations for dinner and showed us the hidden chapel while sharing some nice stories about the villa :)

Hello everyone, Here are the photos of this beautiful villa, where we had a great time unforgettable. The house is beautiful and very well furnished ... beyond our expectations. The organizer of the performances, Jaume is very professional, nice and adorable. We had a king's meal, very good, and in good quantity for 33 people. The beds are great, the house very clean, not forgetting all the other amenities we got. Really, I would recommend this Villa, with Jaume We will be back very soon. Thank you very much for these good times, in this villa also beautiful.

Family Holidays Deluxe! Its now a few Days ago that we´ve spent our Family Holidays at this stunning and lovely Villa, and we allready miss this House and the special Flair it spreads to his Visitors! We had a blast of a Time at this wunderfull Place! It delivers everything you need and want to enjoy Holidays and Time! Even with larger Groups like ours, everbody can enjoy his Time, just cause of the Space in- and outside the Villa! You can Party at the pool or Relax on a Terace or the lovely Garden! The Rooms, Pool, BBQ-Area, Poolhouse, Terrace, Garden and so on just fantastic! A Big Hug and all the best Wishes goes out to Jaume!! We stayed in the lovely Horta Del Pilar for 1 week at the end of May all 25 of us from one family! We had a brilliant week an could not fault the Villa or the fantastic service we received from Jaume. He truly is an excellent host and helped us so much. The Villa is in a nice location close enough to the beach and shops. It is very secure, clean very well equipped. The Villa is brilliant for large groups and we recommend the chef and transfer company they recommend as they provide an excellent service too. We would love to come again and recommend highly the Villa, Jaume and Sun rent barcelona. The Hankins

We spent a magical unforgettable wedding week in this impressive villa in May 2015. In fact it has been so wonderful that the whole family is returning there to repeat the experience one more time in July 2017! The villa is extremely well equipped, with all the amenities needed, and it provides with much needed privacy while at the same time being close to Barcelona, Arenys de Mar (beach a brisk walk from the villa), bars, restaurants and Mercadona (Spanish chain of supermarkets). Thank you Jaume for incredible service offered; no matter what was needed at any point of the day you were there to lend a hand! The thing we liked the most was the fact that the villa offered something for everyone: from kids to the eldest and the barbecue area outside at the end served also as a great dancing floor! :) All in all, we are extremely satisfied and we are looking forward to spending another week there in July next year.

We were a family of 25 people who visited Villa Horta del Pilar in June 2016. We had a wonderful visit, which was far above our expectations. the facilities in the house was very good and the pool area was great. We traveled with a number of children and the house was facilitated for children. There were gates that could be locked into the pool area. The house was clean and tidy on arrival. Jaume was a wonderful host. He is very trustworthy and he was also available throughout our stay. He also showed a professional attitude both before and after your stay. All in all, we had a wonderful holiday.

The villa is so nice as the pictures show. It's placed in a fantastic sourounding and only a short way from the beach. We stayed at the villa a week in the beginning of May - at most we were 23 persons. The manager Jaume were very helpful and serviceminded - from our first contact all the way til we left the villa. He helped us book for example a private tour at a winery - supernice. He couldn't have been a better host/manager! We had a fantastic week and can really recommend Horta del Pilar!

We've had a wonderful time in Horta del Pilar. The villa looks astonishing on the photo's, but in real life it's even more beautiful. The pool is enormous, the rooms are tidy, the garden is very spacious and the kitchen is suitable for cooking for large groups. And on top of that Jaume is a wonderful host, who respects your privacy, but is always there to help you and to make you feel at home. We couldn't have imagined a better place for our holiday!

We had an amazing time at this amazing house which has been restored and maintained to a very high standard. The villa is close enough to all the attractions but secluded enough so that you relax and not be troubled with noise or disturbances from anyone nearby. The host Jaume is extremely helpful and very friendly indeed and helped us out on numerous occasions with language issues and went beyond the what is expected of a host. Nothing was too much trouble and he helped us to have a fantastic time while we were at the villa. I would love to come back in the future sometime to this amazing, once in a lifetime experience!! All the family where so excited at the arrival day. We were so impressed by the house and especially for its outstanding garden&swimmingpool. The house is fully equipped we didn't miss anything at all, they even have nespresso machine! The beach is really close, just 3 minutes by car. It is highly recommended to have own car. Lovely house and very helpfull agent. The German family would love to go back again next year
