The view is amazing. Having a choice of eating outside or inside was great. Staff was amazing!
The air conditioning turns off when you leave the room. it takes forever for the air to cool down the room.

The bed
The staff attitude and service was poor.
Service at evening meal we had was crazy.
Waited hour and a half for our meal.

Lovely setting…with a great pool & helpful staff.
Bathrooms could do with a little bit of maintenance, and aircon wasn’t too effective

A very comfortable and charming hotel, set in beautiful gardens with swimming and sunbathing area. Very friendly staff, speaking English and eager to assist. The restaurant served delicious food, and breakfast just as Devine. I would be happy to stay here again.
Some distance from the city of Barcelona.

The room we were given was smelling of cigarettes, when we arrived. The staff immediately put us in an upgraded room for the night, very good service. In general, the hotel is really nice, and with a car, it is in a good location.

4.1
excellent property
clean rooms
very friendly staff
I booked a superior room but was told on arrival that I could only have a standard room because I had my dog with me (retired assistance cocker spaniel)
I was told we would have free breakfasts to compensate the extra I had spent on a superior room which had not been given.
At no stage we’re we told there was a New Year’s party going on at the hotel with 60 guests and extremely loud music until 03h00 in the morning.
I spoke to staff who promised to pass my complaint on to management.
On departure I was told we would be given 15% discount, but then they charged us for the “free” breakfasts!

Lovely location and general facilities as always - we have been visiting every year.
The restaurant menu was restricted to tapas only on Sunday and we were not informed when we booked the table. Worse still, we were not even informed by the waiter when the menus were handed to us. It was only when we tried to order our food that we were told that there was a restricted menu on Sundays due to it being the chef's night off. There were also no notices in reception nor the restaurant informing people that the menu was restricted on a Sunday. This made it very difficult for us as my wife has several allergies and it was too late to find anywhere else to eat.
Communication was very poor and needs improving.
We are now considering other options for our annual overnight stop in the area

Very calm hotel, perfect for family stay, nice pool area
The restaurant is not good at all, overpriced and tasteless.. The hotel is not 4 stars, I would take away a star, it needs a maintenance and we spent 4 days without air conditioner…

Our 6th time at Hotel Arrey! Have watched our children grow up in this hotel. Sadly could not give the hotel its usual 5 star rating. We love Hotel Arrey, it’s staff and location, but sadly this lovely boutique hotel has sold out to a average Spanish chain hotel, one I would never use. The hotel is in desperate need of maintenance!!!! The hotel is looking tired. Paint on walls chipped, corridor floors need replacing, dirty, marked and lifted in the corners. The pool beds and pool furniture needs replacing, worn sun cream marks on all over them. Cigarette buts all over the garden areas. Bins dented and full of rust around the pool. Pool has green algae on the tiles. The restaurant just doesn’t have that extra finesse it use to have. The waiters look scruffy in jeans and trainers. So sad because we love this hotel and would nt want to go anywhere else. But this hotel has not had an upgrade since 2016 and we hope the hotel use this winter to make the upgrades. The pictures on this site are not current, they are pictures from 2016. Please bring back the old hotel Arrey!
The hotel is tired and in need of maintenance. Paint chipped on walls, floors stained and marked, pool tiles have algae on. Pool furniture needs replacing. Glass in restaurant needs cleaning, dirty and marked. Waiters scruffy in jeans and trainers! The restaurant renovation/windows has made the hotel look cheap as they are dirty and not enough pool space anymore!
