Location is great. Comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen. Friendly host.
The appartement was not clean at all and hard to reach: third floor and at least six stairs to climb. Quality of toilet not acceptable / door could not be closed and very very small.

Very close to facilities, restaurants, markets & shops.
Traditional French character & charm.
Surprised it was up so many flights of stairs.
Also surprised that there was no separate bathroom.
Parking is very expensive when staying for an extended period.

Great location in Cours Mirabeau.
The kitchen and the bathroom (shower and washbasin) are in the same room. Literally. No door. You take your shower close to the kitchen table.
The host accepts cash only (no credit card).

Location was great, right in the center
6 flights of stairs, the shower in the kitchen.

The apartment is very beautifully furnished and decorated with antique furniture and attention to the detail. The location is strictly central and the window opens up to a beautiful central pedestrian zone.
Three things left a bitter aftertaste:
I. The shower is inside the kitchen, not next to it, but inside! The toilet opens up to the kitchen too, so does the washing area. There is basically no bathroom, just the kitchen .
II. The parking is to far away to be considered as nearby, especially of you have to carry a lot of luggage. And it's definitely the most expensive parking I've ever used. For 1,5 days I paid 40 € - something that makes the stay way more expensive. This should have been mentioned on the profile on Booking, instead of saying "costs may occur".
III. The price per night is way to high for what was offered!! And all the money needed to be paid in cash, without receiving any receipt in return.

Gracious and accommodating hosts who went out of their way to help us. Excellent location. lively during the day but no problem at all with noise at night, in spite of being right on Cours Mirabeau.

This is a super elegant and beautiful Appartement in a classical French building. We loved the atmosphere, the bed is super comfy and the kitchen well equipped. A big plus are the big French windows in room and kitchen. And although the the Appartement is directly overlooking the cours Mirabeau the windows are really cancelling all the noice. The perfect place to discover the old town, have a relaxing sleep or sleep in, have breakfast in the kitchen with the windows open taking in all the Cours Mirabeau atmosphere and afterwards read though the many provencial garden books. Another plus was the friendly and uncomplicated communication with the host. We can absolutely recommend and would come back at our next stay in Aix.

It was very old style and awkward with tilted floor and shower in the kitchen but surprisingly, it was very cosy, romantic and charming. We had the best times there and didn’t want to leave. Location is superb and hosts are very accommodating.
There is no lift. And the dwelling is old a bit shabby, but charming. Probably not very suitable for families.
9.6
The apartment is situated right on/above the Cours Mirabeau, so is right in the centre of Aix and a perfect place to stay. The host was very welcoming and accommodating (we had to change our arrival time as we were slowed down by traffic on the way), and was very helpful when we asked for some local recommendations! The apartment itself is on the top floor of the building and has a great view over the Cours Mirabeau, but is also well sound-proofed so we didn't hear any noise from the street below. I'd definitely recommend staying here!
