Good location. Amazing beds! Nice quiet road. Well equipped kitchen. Lovely bathroom. Free Parking.
When booking the itinerary said we would get one room that had 2 double beds in. When we arrived we found that the room in question only had the 1 double bed.. When we enquired with the host, he said he has never had a room with 2 double beds and it has been this way for years. He said: "As you can see, the rooms are not big enough."
Rather than apologise he got a bit defensive. That is until I sent him a screenshot with proof of what I was told I'd be booking [see picture]. He still did not give an apology!
Could have done with a deep clean. When hoovering my husband found a lot of dirt and food bits in between the sofa cracks and under sofa. Was also quite dusty on lamps and behind sofas.
Garden could have done with a sweep as there were leaves all over the place. [See picture]Not very inviting.
Conservatory was nice but smelt a bit like wet dog. Guessing this is where guests keep their dogs when they stay here.
No privacy from neighbours when you are in the kitchen or living room. No blinds or curtains so neighbours across can see straight into the house.[see pictures]
Dark, not well lit in living room. There are no ceiling lights and you have to use lamps for light.[see pictures]
We were able to control the house temperature using hive pad but during the stay, the owner told us that he had turned it down (he also had control of the heating remotely) as it was too expensive for him at 24°c. We had little babies with us and the house was cold (we stayed in December)especially downstairs, and so we think if the host is going to restrict/put limitations on the use of the central heating, he should make these terms known at booking stage so customers can make an informed decision as to whether this accommodation is right for them or not.

Ben as a host was amazing. He was good with communication and made sure we were all ok throughout the stay.
We were with little children so the space was good and the location is very convenient as well. We went for long walks near Worth town and Brighton isn't far either. The house itself was very warm and the kitchen area is spacious.

Excellent large house with lots of bedrooms and spacious communal areas. Very good facilities for a family or large group stay. Very good location, easy to find and park and well placed to get to from London and then explore the South with a short hop to Brighton and the coast.
Nothing really negative about this place at all. If really had to find something most of the bedrooms are adequate but a bit small but really not an issue for us but may be if the group size was maxed. The price reflects the number of people that can be accommodated but perhaps a bit pricey for a smaller family or group.

Ben made everything really straightforward and was really attentive to our needs. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here (or any of his other properties) again in the future!
