It is an excellent hotel in every way, the facilities are unbeatable, its location is excellent for visiting the attractions in the area, a short drive to Vok Baths, the hotel staff is very friendly and the quality of the breakfast is unbeatable!!!!!.
I couldn't find any complaints about the hotel and its service....

Fantastic bed, easy check in and really delicious breakfast with lots of homemade goods The hot tub was perfect to take in the views from too!
The drains in the bathroom were a little smelly but other than that, the room was great.

Great location, clean and nice rooms, perfect for a short stay. Delicious breakfast. check out time that is longer than usual. Beautiful view.
Bathroom. Shower window is too short, so the floor all around gets wet no matter what you do.

Super friendly and great staff that gave us great recommendations. The beds very comfy and we loved the views from the room. Breakfast was delicious, high quality and felt homemade. Would definitely come back again!

stunning location, great breakfast, spacy room, great hot tub
rooms could be more approximately equipped (e.g. more relaxing chairs in the room, have a kettle and tea/coffee amenities, having weather-proof furniture/chairs on the veranda, remove screen if you do not offer TV as this is very confusing)

location is off the main road a ways secluded can hear sound of nearby waterfall. very nice spacious rooms. good breakfast.
stopped serving dinner at 9. we came just after that were told so sorry. we had to scramble around town to find food. finally ended up with some gross pizza.

The setting is magnificent! The owners have created an artistic gem! No detail is overlooked. They have wonderful pieces of art and truly one-of-a-kind books on Icelandic birds and wildflowers! They prepare delicious food for you on the site and you feel very pampered!
I have no complaints at all.

This hotel was a couple miles out of town, but definitely worth it. The views of the lake were beautiful. We saw the northern lights after midnight. Had an excellent dinner and breakfast was very good.
Nothing

really beautiful view, comfortable stay and nice attention to detail. The breakfast was one of the best I had in Iceland ( croissants and home made jam were delicious)
I only stayed one night so I do not have anything to add here

Location is good, 5m away from the city (Egillstadir) center with a very beautiful lake view. You can also enjoy the view of the lake in a hot tub located in front of it :)
Beds are awesome. Such as the shower (good shower amenities available). Heating is good and very well thought (it runs under the floor!).
Breakfast was not left behind: delicious and well taken care of.
Christine and her husband take care of everything and make seem like you are in someone’s place, not in a hotel. So, don’t doubt: when traveling in Iceland, Hotel 1001 Nott is, definitely, a stay.

The hosts were very welcoming, food amazing…….!! the best food we’ve had during our eight day touring around the country would definitely return. We made use of the hot tub despite the weather being bad.

the staff went above and beyond to be helpful. We were stranded because of the storm and road closures and they were helpful in understanding the news reports and allowing us to stay another night. They even gave us a discount on the additional night.
loved everything about it including the fact that the tv’s did not work 😀

Amazing location ans view over the water. Staff went above and beyond to assist me. Restaurant and breakfast was delicious.

We enjoyed the stay from the moment we arrived. Susanna was very friendly and helpful. Also Wojtek was a very pleasant server in the restaurant. We loved the view from the room of the lake. And the hot tubs were great after a day of hiking. This hotel is small and you feel a bit more personally taken care of here. The owners work in the kitchen during the meals and the food was delicious. It is away from any towns so there is no light pollution and we were able to see beautiful northern lights.

Beautiful location on a very pretty lake
We felt the rooms were uncomfortably warm as nite, as I heard a few other guests have the same complaints, with just 1 small window that opens.
We dont typically watch TV on vacation, and theirs wasnt working

Nothing.

Beautiful hotel with scenic views, excellent breakfast.
Some lack of privacy in the rooms (rooms have large picture windows and the access is from outside, so other guests walk past). Hot tubs weren’t available while we were there—unclear why.

Beautiful location, excellent services and wonderful staff! We would not hesitate to return!!
