Sehr schön

Das Frühstücksbuffet ist nicht sehr umfangreich aber sehr lecker. Das Hotel profitiert definitiv von der wunderschönen Lage direkt am See. Die Ausstattung des Ferienhauses ist zweckmäßig aber nicht hochwertig. Alles ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Parken kostenlos vor der Unterkunft möglich.

Optimal wäre noch eine Lademöglichkeit fürs E-Auto. Die nächste Ladestation ist ca. 15 km entfernt. Außerdem ist das Hotel recht teuer.

Excellent. Excellent basis for excursion on Dalsland's Canal.

Staff: Friendly, competent, and service-minded - 10 out of 10 Wonderful location with lake view and with direct access to the lake for swimming or kayaking - indoor faclities like children playroom. Personal atmosphere.

Just a habit of mine: I like to take a cup of coffee on my room when I wake up (before shower/breakfast). But on the other hand, freshly brewed free coffee was available in the breakfast/dining area throughout the day.

A very enjoyable stay.

Very welcoming in a beautiful location. We were given an upgraded room at no extra cost. The room, other facilities, dinner and breakfast were excellent.

We really loved the location, the sauna out on the lake, coffee on arrival, friendly staff/management. We had an apartment which was spacious, spotlessly clean and with a view over the lake. Dinner was OK. Would recommend!

Very nice location and outdoor area. Nice personnel in the restaurant.

Nice outdoor sauna at the lake and also a small indoor spa but both quite expensive, especially when travelling with family. We had booked the indoor spa one evening but when we arrived, the sauna only held 30-40 C. As we only had two hours, we did not want to wait for the temperature to rise, and cancelled the booking. We had a feeling our booking had simply been forgotten by the staff. The breakfast was quite plain, nothing special.

Nice stay with lake view

The room despite a bit dated was big, very comfortable and clean. The view is amazing. Having dinner at the hotel was a nice plus.

We could hear the noise if someone was walking in the corridor. Fortunately it was quite rare.

A nice hotel in beautyful surroundings.

The location close to the lake and Håverud chanel is very nice. It is very interesting to walk along the different levels of the canal.

The breakfast did not offer the very big variety of dishes that is common at bigger swedish hotels. Still though it gave you a good start of the day.

A recommended base for exploring Dalsland

The hotel is located at the heart of the Dalsland canal - the locks and canal bridge are a 5 minute walk. Don't miss to eat here in the evening, the kitchen is very good (in the summer of 2021 you had to pre-order your meal). The area is quiet at night, the restaurant has a lakefront terrace. If you want to make excursions, talk with the owners - they share their broad knowledge with you.

Lovely, beautifully appointed and spotless apartment, in very well run hotel!

Charming and welcoming hosts who were eager to ensure we had a good stay. Enormous and delicious breakfast. We accidentally left a good shirt in the closet and when we contacted the hotel, they very kindly mailed it to us in Göteborg.
