Massive room, excellent breakfast, perfect location for the Bristol Beacon Hall, a 5 minute walk. Staff were friendly and helpful. When we arrived we were given an upgrade to a larger room.

It’s central location.
The Hotel downgraded the room I’d paid for due to an alleged “maintenance issue”.
They had taken the money for the Signature Suite well in advance and then told me less than 24hrs in advance that now only a suite was available. They said as the Suite was £40 cheaper than the Signature suite they would refund the difference as “compensation”. This is not compensation this is giving me my own money back and they chose to downgrade my stay. No compensation for being downgraded was even offered, not even a free drink at their bar!!

Spacious room and bathroom
Heating didn’t work neither did the control for the lights.surprised there were no bathrobes or biscuits,,!!!!

Location was really great. Food was good.
The room was very tired. The smoking space in the porch was very untidy. The bar needs to be bigger. Not enough space for guests and passing trade.

Room was comfortable
Breakfast was great - had poached eggs and bacon- well cooked and satisfying. Great tea and coffee - plenty of pastry choice and also fruit and cereal.
Front desk staff were extremely helpful.
Very pleased we booked a parking space.
Our dog was welcome too!
Dirty shower drain (hair)
Carpets very dirty in the hallways

Staff very friendly and helpful. Fairly central location and good sized room. Food was good:-)
Bedroom appeared to be above kitchen or bar area, often music could be heard (faintly) from early in morning until late at night.

Great city centre location which offers car parking. We were upgraded to a higher quality room on arrival and the staff were unvaryingly polite and cheerful. The restaurant food was good with an OK selection of wines served by a knowledgeable staff. Premises were clean and comfortable.
No bitter or draft beer available.

Lovely warm rooms and a good size. Mega comfy beds. Very helpful staff. I wanted to take a meal from the restaurant to the hospital where my daughter was recovering from an operation and this was done with consummate ease by the team.
Absolutely nothing.

The room was overall nice
Mold on the walls, payments needed a restore, someone came in to ‘remaking’ the room but nothing was changed.
Wet towels still sitting in the chair, no sugar was added for the coffee, the bed was made but it was very poorly done seen the price we paid for the room.
We owns two restaurants in London and we offer such a different type of costumer service. The staff couldn’t care less about us. Not a good morning, not a good night or a check on how our staying was going.
We were slightly disappointed about the whole thing.
Wouldn’t recommend.
For the same amount of money you can get much much better as we usually stay in 4/5 starts hotels only.

excellent location, beautiful hotel, lovely room, first class breakfast.
kept awake first night by what sounded like moving furniture/room preparation on the floor above. Not acceptable at these kind of prices

Lovely shower in bathroom
Noisy outside and In corridor outside room in the night (same person making a noise for quite a long time)

A lovely unique building with charm and comfort
Now that the bathrooms have the toiletries attached to wall, it makes having a bath tricky. I understand the reason behind it, but could not wash hair easily.

Lovely hotel in central location
The restaurant staff (particularly the French waiter) were incredibly helpful with dietary requests
Rooms are lovely but a little dark
