Loved it there! So peaceful and beautiful surroundings! Excellent and helpful staff

The location was awesome! You could see the palace and castle up on the mountain!

A heated pool would have been nice. Finding the entrance was difficult.

Un lieu charmant avec un personnel aux petits soins 😉

Le charme du lieu, la gentillesse de tout le personnel (accueil, femme de chambre etc.), la décoration dans la chambre (chaleureuse), les petites attentions (bouteille reremplie d'eau filtrée, les tisanes à notre disponibilités etc.) Les photos correspondent totalement au lieu (la deuxième vue de notre chambre)

Malgré qu'il est agréable de recevoir le petit déjeuner en chambre si la chambre voisine demande le déjeuner à 8h et vous à 9h, vous risquez d'être réveillé vu la proximité des chambres, ce qui est dommage. Le petit déjeuner était bon mais aurait pu être un rien plus généreux si vous vouliez plus c'était des frais supplémentaires de quelques euros. Comme dit à l'accueil avant notre départ nous avions un frigo assez bruyant dans notre chambre posée sur une table basse dont le moteur se mettait en route et fesait pas mal de bruit, ce n'était pas le cas dans la chambre voisine (il était dans une armoire et pas juste à côté du lit) cela cassait un peu le calme et le charme du lieu. Malgré tout ça si nous revenons à Sintra ce sera sùrement au même endroit et nous y sommes restés 4 nuits.

Un endroit Magnifique !

L'environnement est luxuriant, la vue est magnifique montagnes végétation et chateaux. Bel emplacement ! tout y est pour rendre le séjour agréable ! Un merci spécial à Philippa

Lugar adecuado para desconectar

Casa con bonitos paisajes, mucha naturaleza, cómodo, vista a los palacios, personal amable, buen desayuno.

Lo bueno de la ubicación es que está a distancia prudente para hacer trekking y llegar caminando al Palacio de Regaleira

El paisaje. El jardín.

Es difícil acceder en auto. Cuando llegas al parking, hay un largo trecho hasta el hotel. No tienen maleteros ni carrito para llevar el equipaje. Dan la opción de dejar el auto en una calle angosta con acceso por otra puerta, sin maletero tampoco y con escaleras para acceder a los cuartos. El desayuno, es magro y dan opción para elegir 3 items. Lo sirven en el cuarto, que, es algo estrecho. En nuestro caso, teníamos un lindo balcón, con mesita y 2 sillas, que no pudimos usar mucho debido al clima ventoso. La ducha, tiene cortinas (no mampara)

Een leuke, maar uitdagende tussenstop.

Het uitzicht was prachtig en de accommodatie lag nabij het historische centrum waar je te voet verder kon naar de kastelen prachtige tuinen. Het bed was comfortabel. De extra yoga en massage service was heel goed.

Het zwembad was jammer genoeg niet verwarmd. Wij reizen met een kindje van 1,5 jaar. Helaas is de accommodatie hiervoor niet geschikt. De trappen, het open terras en de luide buren zijn niet ideaal voor kinderen onder 6 jaar. De stoelen op terras waren zeer onaangenaam. Het ontbijt ook te basic.

Estancia de cuento de hadas!

Lo acogedor que era, la cama comodísima, con todos los servicios, hasta tienes paraguas en la habitación. El desayuno espectacular, y que te lo traigan a la habitación es lo más. Las vistas increibles. Es ideal para descansar, desconectar y estar en contacto con la naturaleza. Destacar que el personal es muy amable y nos facilitó mucho la estancia. Nos hicieron sentir como en casa. Todo de diez. Sin duda repetiremos!

No hubo nada que no me gustara. Lo único el no poder estar más días disfrutándolo ;-)

Nice hotel, good breakfast

Good room - fair size with a nice balcony. The breakfast was amazing - a selection from multiple options - and is served to the room / balcony - nice experiance

The bathroom smelled. The road to the hotel is a bit challenging with a car but there's a private parking which is good. The charge for late chekin is pretty high

Aconchegante e Românticos, os quartos têm vista para o Palácio da Pena. Servem o pequeno almoço no quarto e têm um ótimo estacionamento para guardar o carro.

O chuveiro preciso ser melhorado, é um bocado antiquado.

Lovely stay with great views

Lovely stay, close to the centre of the town and the castles. Little steep hill to get to the centre but its not far. Parking available and the room was lovely, heated and clean. Breakfast was nice too in the room. Staff is super lovely too :-)

Our stay was wonderful and we'd definitely stay again.

The room had a balcony that gave great views. The option of selecting breakfast delivered to our room was such a nice touch! Had everything we needed for an amazing stay. The staff was friendly and very helpful as well! They helped with purchase of tickets to attractions, directions and held our luggage after checkout.

Great location to enjoy Sintra

Peaceful location but walking distance to the center of town and local sites. Comfortable room with simple breakfast nicely presented at the requested time. Friendly staff. Gates made it feel very safe.

Mooie plek, op loopafstand van Sintra.

Mooie ligging, sfeer en de gastvriendelijkheid.

Wat een beetje tegenviel was de minimale hoeveelheid brood bij het ontbijt. 1 klein croissantje en twee minibolletjes ter grootte van 1/3 krentenbol per persoon. Als je meer wilt, bijkopen……das wat karig denken wij dan.

Amazing place to stay with parking and friendly staff.

Amazing view, refreshing pool, PARKING!!! Very helpful and welcoming staff with recommendations and wine/beer to purchase in the office.

Would help to have satellite pics/street view pic’s of how to get to the location. A police officer waived us away from our turn and had to make an additional 13 minute loop of driving on curvy mountain roads.

Estancia tranquila y agradable

El hotel es precioso, situado en zona verde donde se puede ver el Palacio de la Pena, Castelo dos Mouros y Quinta Regaleira. Se respira paz y tranquilidad. La habitación era preciosa, con suelo de madera y el desayuno lo traen a la habitación. Reservamos el parking por lo que dejamos el coche allí y fuimos caminando a todos sitios. El personal muy amable y hablaba español. Disponibilidad de fuente de agua filtrada para rellenar las botellas y piscina! Aunque no nos dio tiempo a usarla.

We would throughly recommend a stay at Casa do Valle. It was very comfortable and peaceful.

The room was very comfortable and grounds beautiful. It was lovely to have a swim at the end of a hot day with a view of the hillsides.

No better place to stay in Sintra. We’ll be back.

Very friendly and extremely helpful staff. Location is close to all sights. Veronica, secured same day access to the Peña Palace (amazing).

Small airco didn’t really keep up to the unusual hot temperatures. Should normally not be an issue.

Great place to stay if you want a quiet location in Sintra

Location..peaceful be fantastic views. Very helpful office staff and owner. Facilities…swimming pool, separate self catering area, good Wi-Fi, water re-fill station.

Breakfast was not sufficient and too limited. Self catering facility did not include basics such as sharp knives or scissors.

A surprise delight and wish I could have stayed longer.

This hotel is about 8 minutes away from the center of the city. It's quite the hike to get to the Moorish Castle and Pena Palace. The room was cute and had a great view and the bathroom was spacious. The bed was comfortable and the room had a fan and mini fridge, which was definitely needed. We included breakfast with our stay and they give you options of what you want. They bring it directly to your room at your requested time and we enjoyed it on our little balcony. The reception staff was incredibly helpful and explained everything about the property to us upon arrival. I think this would be the case for every hotel in Sintra, but it takes some very narrow streets to get there.

This place deserves a 10 star rating

Staff was incredibly helpful and really attentive to all the details. We had our entire close family with us for our wedding, and everything was perfect. The pool was chill and the rooms super comfortable and with all we needed. We have some complex requests and everything was prepared and arranged by the staff. Do not hesitate to stay in Casa Do Valle, you won't regret a thing!

I cannot name a single problem. Nothing went wrong!

One of the best European holidays ever!

We loved the views, breakfasts, room and kind, helpful staff. Sintra was a great base for exploring Lisbon and the coast. The castles were great, especially Montserrate which was quiet, calm and beautiful. We didn't have a car but found the trains to Lisbon easy to use and Uber taxis were reasonable. Beware the circular tourist bus round Sintra - a round trip cost us 50 Euros for 4 adults! Although steep, the middle of town was easily accessible. The supermarket was a bit further away to walk but on the manager's recommendation we used the Glovo app to buy food for lunch which was easy to prepare using the hotel's well-stocked kitchen. Eating it by the pool was bliss, with fantastic views of the castles. We stayed 10 days and it still didn't seem enough! Thank you everyone at Casa do Valle!

Peaceful property close to Sintra's major attractions

Very peaceful. Great service. Beautiful property with close proximity to the main part of Sintra (we walked everywhere but like many places in Portugal there are a lot of hills). Staff was very kind and accommodating especially with our toddler. Parking was a bonus!

Bathroom could use a bit of TLC. The patio area for our room was not totally private, but we enjoyed talking to our neighbours.

Beautiful and quiet stay

Beautiful location, hotel territory is very well maintained. Our room was quiet and comfortable with a great view on the surrounding hills and castles.

Breakfast was quite limited. We've got a confirmation that there will be a taxi waiting for us in the morning of the departure day. However, when the taxi did not show up and I called them, we found out that the hotel stuff never contacted the taxi.

They bring you the breakfast to your room. Fantastic to sit on the balcony/terrace and enjoy breakfast to an amazing scenery and surroundings. Very helpful staff. Clean rooms. You are able to borrow towels for the pool for free at the reception. Only good to say about this place!
