This is Not a 5 star hotel. A very good 3 or a basic 4 maybe. Noise of the neighbours bathroom All night. Worn out rooms & very basis room and breakfast.

Me and my husband stayed for one night. This is the BEST hotel I ever stayed in.
RECEPTION, lovely check in.
A BIG thank you to ROBSON, who were just lovely. As it was my birthday we received complimentary white bottle of wine, two delicious chocolates cakes and fruit. Thank you for making our stay so special.
ROOM-standard room it was very spacious with balcony. King size bed so comfy. Towels so soft, Complimentary robes and slippers, Mini bar and complimentary water.
TV with a lot of channels, no access to Netflix.
SPA, POOLS- amazing 2 outdoor pools, one indoor pool with warmer water, jacuzzi.
Loved it, so relaxing.
RESTAURANT- breakfast and dinner were buffet, so much choice of delicious food.
STAFF- every one was friendly and Thanks to restaurant staff of helping my husband with vegetarian options at the buffet.
Hotel design- loved the fresh green design with historic decorations
The location is beautiful but Sintra is very windy and cloudy place.

Activities for the kids and location.
Our family suite was quite big, but the toilet area was very small
Access to the indoor swimming pool had to be booked and only available in 50 min blocks.

The reception staff was nice. Their English was not perfect, but much better than some other places I visited. The room was, to me, beautiful and very comfortable. The bathroom was very nice. The patio was nice.
The breakfast felt regimented because they do not let you choose where you sit. They sat me in the midst of several tables filled with many loud families. I wanted a quiet table to myself in an uncrowded area (there were many areas like this) where I could read and enjoy my coffee and breakfast, but rather they set me amongst several tables filled with large families. This ruined for me what would otherwise have been a very nice breakfast.
They don't provide enough soap by default. This is a trend I've noticed and dislike very much. Also, the shower towels are very small, too small, like face towels.
Also, when you first arrive, it is confusing because there is an electronic gate at which you must push a button, then they trigger the gate. However, once you go through the gate, there are several large buildings around you that all appear like apartment buildings, and there is no sign telling you where to find reception. There was an Uber Eats driver ahead of me on motor scooter who was similarly confused once he entered the gate. In fact, he went forward, then apparently thought he was in the wrong place, so he did a U-turn, then went through the out gate, then did another u-turn and came in again. Once inside, he followed me forward to reception. A simple sign inside the gate would clear this up, but there was no such sign. So, simply drive forward into the darkness in what seems the wrong direction, and eventually you will see two long buildings, one on either side of the road/lane you are on. The building on the left is the one you want, but you will have to follow the road around. It's confusing, but you'll figure it out. And knowing ahead of time will make it far less confusing.

there was a very nice view of the castles and the gym and spin rooms were great
there was a smell in the lobby of mildew/body odor, the indoor pool was full of kids and the outdoor pools are all very shallow/not even real pools. they make everyone wear a cloth bathing cap and charge 5 euros for it. the carpets were all very worn and dirty in the hallways and rooms. there wasn’t great sound proofing
4.3
Pool was nice and warm, but did not look so clean
It is too large and gives a cold vibe. There is no warmth in the place. 80 euro massage that feels mwah.

Territory and views are great. Everything looked clean and tidy. Staff did their job well.
Main problem for us was that public areas(especially pool and restaurant of course) were packed with kids making it hard to stay there without an earplugs. Building has good acoustics so noise is just terrible.
Room was good, but didn't feel as 5 star hotel, especially bathroom.
Breakfast buffet...well, it was a kind of buffet when you try this and that and everything is not tasty. And most of food does not even look tasty.

The children's activities staff and the breakfast staff were very nice and friendly. Especially the children's activities, " Dédé" and Laura were super friendly with the kids. The pool staff on the other hand was overall unhelpful.
The pool staff was unhelpful. For a 5-star hotel, it is not acceptable that they made me carry the pool towels and the bath robes from the swimming pool to the reception just to return them because according to the Spanish lady who was managing the pool "the pool and the reception are independent". I was there with my family in January (low season) but overall did not feel like a 5-star hotel service or accommodations. I have stayed at 4-star hotels that have better infrastructures (windows in the swimming pool were worn out, the swimming pool itself had plenty of loose tiles, and the bedroom was underwhelming. We don't even get a shower gel and a shampoo anymore, but a "2-1" gel. Even the toilet paper felt cheap for a 5-star hotel. I was surprised to see electric wires for the lamps in the swimming pool area, which were passing through the wet floor of the swimming pool. I would say that is an electrical hazard waiting to happen.

The food was really disappointing
4.3
Location, facility, food was great
No coffee facility in room

Its a very beautiful place. The chef was excellent. The octopus was cooked to perfection. Pair with greens and sweet potatoe. The smoothy was refreshing.

Everything was just great, lovely room and staff very helpful. Wonderful scenery around.
Nothing to dislike
4.3
Great views and nice bed.
4.3
The children’s activities.
There was no notification that we had to pay for the pool table.
4.3
well manicured grounds, fabulous views
the reception, lounge are was quite soulless and stark with an unpleasant smell. The bedroom was not a 5 star bedroom, it was very dark, plain and carpet very heavily stained(room 339). It was quite off putting.
4.3
Indoor pool was great for the kids and one of us also tried the massage which was great. Breakfast was good and with a lot to choose from. Such a beautiful view from the hotel!
At breakfast, why on earth did they operate the juice machine (made a lot of noise during our whole breakfast) in front of all the visitors in the breakfast room...

beautiful location and the team entertaining the kids.
the outdoor pools were not heated, far

Modern hotel, with beautiful views. We particularly enjoyed the pool area, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our second room was very nice, and everything was very clean. Our kids really enjoyed the trampoline and the carousel.
We didn't get the suite we booked, which meant we didn't had a balcony. The room was also right next to the busy elevator and therefore noisy. The issue was sorted after a day, but only because we insisted (which felt awkward) and showed our booking details. Breakfast gets very busy, and we did not like the dinner buffet - although I can see that it's convenient e.g. for the first evening and/or more generally with kids. Overall most food we had at the hotel was a little mediocre.
