Nice grounds, facilities, restaurant and breakfast options.
The stairs in the bedroom were too steep and narrow for cases and bags and is not a good arrangement for the middle of the night if one of you wants to go to the bathroom. We really found this inconvenient.

Lovely cosy nooks, great food & friendly staff
We didn’t realise the toilets were downstairs and the bedroom upstairs. Bit of a faff in the middle of the night!

Really lovely pub with great food and helpful, friendly staff. Great rooms set out like a tiny house with a sofa bed for the kids downstairs and shower room and then a double bedroom upstairs. Very nice shower and we had a very comfortable night sleep there.
We went to bed quite early and there was a little noise from the pub - it didn't go on too late though! Also some fresh milk for tea and coffee is always nicer than the long life tubs (but that is nit picking as it was great).

decent bed
being woken up at 4 on Saturday morning due to a delivery being made and the van driver blasting music out was so loud I could tell it was walking in broken glass by Annie Lennox
room very dusty light bulbs out. breakfast on the Sunday was possibly the worst I’ve seen asked for poached eggs and got hard boiled basically was also cold.

Our room was very small.

We were pleasantly surprised at how cute and clean the living room, bathroom and upstairs bedroom was. I usually stay in hotels but I am very pleased that I opted for this bed and breakfast. Great value for money.

The room was dirty no cleaning had been done around bed still rubbish behind bed. The shower had mould all around. The shower floor was so dirty I had to lay a towel down on floor. Over all the room was dirty and dusty.

The surroundnings, staff and food
The dirt in the bathroom on the floor and in the vent.

I like that the rooms were separate so we could come and go as we please.
Unfortunately they didn’t do breakfast in the morning .

On the plus side, the staff were friendly and we enjoyed our meal in the restaurant.
The room was dirty, several things were broken (including a loose stair step and bathroom door handle that came off when we tried to use it, trapping one of us in), and the bathroom was like a sauna with no way of adjusting the temperature settings (despite asking the staff).
It was a real shame to experience these things given how much we’d been looking forward to our stay.

Cleanliness excellent, car parking plentiful, quiet, comfortable bed.
Poured visibly flat sparkling wine, had to ask for it to be changed on Saturday night. Miserable staff at breakfast, no enthusiasm, had to ask for butter with toast. Shame really.

Beautiful accommodation, fab food and staff very attentive

Friendly staff, cosy place, excellent food, comfy bed
Very low ceiling in the room and we're both tall. No-one there to give us breakfast on Monday morning.
