Waste of money, hoping for a bite of history in a classic hotel and got an outdated, sad and exorbitantly overpriced ret

It was clean and the cocktail bar staff and cocktails were great. Also had a free shuttle.

The property is beyond outdated, it seems like everything is a mix match of all the years passed with no concern for aesthetic or design. Old materials, but not in a classic European way, I’m talking bad taste. With the prices you pay for a room you would think they could spend a bit of that money to update the place. Completely stuck in time and beyond overpriced for what you get.

Loved everything. Hotel staff were waiting on the dock to receive us from our boat. We were taken straight to our room without any pesky procedure in the lobby. The restaurants are delicious. We especially loved the poolside service. Swimming from the jetty is amazing. The location next to the Main Street of the town was convenient and charming.

The bed was very hard and difficult to sleep on. We were given two toppers that helped, but not really enough. They need softer mattresses.

Good selection of food, amazing pastries, beautiful breakfast room, friendly staff and good service.

Dream like hotel in a dreamy island.

Everything was perfect. Great beach pools, kind staffs, vintage but very clean rooms, excellent restaurants. It was a dream like hotel. I would love to visit here again. Thank you so much!

This is a gorgeous hotel in a gem of a location for swimming, lounging, eating and spa treatments.

The beach area is really unique with it's lounge chairs and thatched grass umbrellas situated on two jetties so you feel like you're on private little island, surrounded by water. Easy steps right into the water. Walking distance to restaurants or short drive. The manager treated us like royalty and as if we had stayed there multiple times.

Completely charming

Loved everything about it. We loved that the hotel has kept its 50s style, it’s almost like stepping back in time and it feels glamorous in a way that more modern hotels don’t. I hope that never changes! The room was big, attractive, clean, with a stunning view of the sea and Ischia itself; the shower pressure was great. Everything was spotlessly clean and well monitored for COVID. The staff are such an asset, we especially got to know the lifeguards and bartenders who were so lovely. The concierge was so helpful in booking our return journey. The breakfast buffet and all the snacks and cocktails we had were perfect. The shuttle to and from the port was such a nice touch. Loved the piano bar, it’s decor, drinks list, old school charm, music and sense of joy.

Some tiny things, the internet didn’t work for us and the spa lighting could be friendlier. There could be a notice warning for sea urchins in the water perhaps as I had a run in with one. Maurizio was incredibly kind in assisting me however.

Very stylish and beautiful hotel, helpful and friendly staff, spacious room and bathroom, very good cleaning service, nice bar with live piano music, and very convenient private beach.

Room could be a tiny bit more renovated (e.g. fridge / mini-bar).
