Empfehlenswert.

Lage ca 20 min fußläufig von der historischen Altstadt, dafür sehr ruhig gelegen und der Bus zum Domplatz fährt aller 20 min direkt vorm Hotel ab. Super auch die kostenfreien Parkplätze vorm Hotel. Frühstück war super und die Panoramaaussicht dabei ein zusätzliches Highlight. Zimmer modern und sauber.

Es war alles okay.

Japani style decor minimalist with all needs covered

It was a beautiful location away from the modeling crowds but easy access to all the icons of area

That the bedrooms had not blockout blinds or curtains so wide awake at 5am 🥹

Wir waren eine Nacht da und es war wie ein Kurzurlaub!

Sehr nettes aufmerksames Personal, besonders die Dame beim Frühstück hat einen wunderbaren Job gemacht. Der Ausblick 10/10, ein wunderschöner Sonnenaufgang über Bamberg beim Frühstück.

Beautiful place, would return!

Very clean and modern. Very comfy beds, roller blinds for privacy, nice sized shower, helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful view! Easy to walk down the hill or take a bus, though bus is 2.20 euro for an hour.

Would have given this place a 10, but the shower was a bit cold. In all fairness, we didn't contact the staff because it was late and we were only there for one night.

Do not stay here.

Clean and quiet

No hot water in the bathroom! Best was lukewarm. Very poor and spotty wi-fi. Room was small. No early breakfast opportunity. No coffee pot or refrigerator or telephone in the room. This place looks like it is on the verge of closing. Challenging location and road to get to hotel. Cannot recommend this hotel.

There was no bread nor croissants in the baskets for more than 40 minutes during both our breakfasts

Location was great up on the hill. Family room has a nice size. Garden is great.

Bathroom had a frosted glass door and a small glass circle window .

Amazing moutain hotel in historic settings

The breakfast was very good and the service was nice. This has been the best bed I have ever sleept in, in a hotel ever. The view was amazing. Walking distance to everything. I will definitely come back.

There was nothing I did not like.

friendly staff, clean rooms and bathrooms.

Very clean and newly renovated rooms. We stayed there for two days. I can easily recommend this place.

Lovely place but missing necessities

Lovely place and the views were outstanding. We didn't do the walk to town but apparently it's only 15 mins. There is a bus stop right outside with busses going every 15 mins.

No air conditioning. No coffee making facility in the room. No hair dryer.

Perfect stay and I can recommend it.

All apart from the duvet and lack of vending machine

Having a single duvet. Would like to have a double next time. Lack of vending machine. Havin a machine for some drinks would be nice. After 19:30 there is no staff anymore and you can not get a drink.

Michele and I loved the views from the hotel, and our room was very comfortable.

The hotel is in a beautiful location overlooking Bamberg.

It was a very nice stay and we look forward returning in the spring to enjoy the incredible view.

Had a fabulous dinner! Rooms were very nice and comfortable. Breakfast was good .

Breakfast buffet was getting low in stock....we were kind of later guest.

Nice hotel in beautiful city

Cosy hotel located high above Bamberg with magnicifent view both from the restaurant and the room. Good wifi, free parking outside. About 15 min walk to the center, note however, very steep hill (16%) to negotiate. There is a local bus that seemed to run frequently and stops right outside the hotel. Room was clean, spacious and beds comfortable. Wifi free and good. Friendly staff and quick check-in. No lift in the building. We had dinner at the hotel which was fine (wienerschnitzel), very large portions! Breakfast was also good, plenty of choices. We chose this hotel primarily because we had read that parking is scarce and difficult in town, many one way streets and narrow roads. Would recommend a visit both to Bamberg and this hotel.

Would have appreciated a lift, carrying suitcases up two flights of stairs is rather cumbersome.
