Best backpackers hostel in Kolkata

Loved everything here. Located right next to Kalighat metro station. Property is well maintained. Free breakfast. Friendly staffs. Large common room and terrace. Most importantly you can meet lots of solo travellers and backpackers coming from all over the world. You can feel like your home. Keep going Bubble Beds !

It was mentioned parking available however the receptionist said " at your own risk, police may clamp your vehicle"

Exceptional

Loved the stay moreover Sandeepan is so helpful. Rooms are spacious. We enjoyed partying with hostelmates. They have amazing terrace.

Very pleasant and comfortable.

location is very good. Kali Ghat metro station is right next to the hostel and I'd recommend using metro and public transport in Kolkata, its a wonderful experience in its own and is the essence of the city of Joy!

Recommended for Budget Traveller. Close to kalighat Metro stn. Staff Is helpful.I Had pleasant stay.

There needs to be variety in Daily breakfast. Location is Good Part of Your property.

Uncleanliness because of Which rats keeps on Hoping In Rooms. It tone my Backpack.

Go for Bubble bed Hostel

Its located in kalighat you can take a metro from esplanade and the place is affordable for solo travelers. They have good open space on top floor to chill and watch TV Just opposite to kalighat metro. I will recommend this place

I really had my life's worst experience.. The fan sounds like a rumbling whistle of train. Room size was like a bathroom.. Although I took it for a night... But the night spent was terrible.. And the cherry on the top was their brkfast.. Which they refused to give me saying that it would be served only after 8:00 am.. I had exam by 8:30 am.. So I went to take the exam empty stomach even though I could see bananas, bread butter toasts kept decorated in a platter to serve at 8:00 am only. Then I forgot my id card and for that too I had to wait for a long time to get it from there as if I was asking their wealth instead of my id card.

Very good

I liked that it was cheap and comfortable. . Location is great, very close to Kalighat metro station and auto rikshaw is available to different places.

Nothing much to expect for very cheap price in a city like Kolkata. But one thing they can improve is "Bathroom". It is the only thing I didn't like, they don't have bathrooms for each room. We, guests from 2 different rooms(male+ female) were sharing one bathroom.

BED BUGS beds🪲

The location

I only gave a good review for the location but my bed was INFESTED with BED BUGS 🪲 and everyone can see the review. Manager was telling me to follow so much rules but he didn't say anything about BED BUGS. He should be more honest with his guests. After 40 hours journey guest want to sleep comfortably but I was killing bed bugs all night. I complained to the manager and told him about it but He acted like he doesn't know anything about it and he just realised now that this room have bed bugs. More stupidity he did spray bed bugs killer when all guest stayed in room so guys be careful before you go if you don't want bloody bites all night.
