The lodges were basic but had everything we needed. There was a good distance between the lodges so you had privacy when you wanted it. We were a 2 minute walk to the Loch and 1 Mile from Crieff. It was the perfect for us as we have extremely demanding jobs and the seclusion and quiet was just what we were after. we spent our time swimming and paddle boarding and most days had the Loch to ourselves.
we stayed in lodge 8 and the only thing I didn’t like was that we were unable to park right next to it. unpacking and walking up a hill with our luggage was difficult as we had a lot.

Amazing facilities for kids and families. Wonderful walking trail, castle ruins, paddle boats, tree climbing, many field and table games.

The location was great overlooking the beautiful loch. The walk round the loch was interesting - we could see evidence of the beaver population. The arrangement/spacing of the chalets was good - they were not too close together, and they were very comfortable.
Nothing.

The whole site was absolutely fantastic! We easily could have not left the site the entire time as all the facilities were amazing. The staff were also incredibly helpful with everything, they even booked us a taxi to get into Crieff for the dinner we had booked on the Friday. We took full advantage of the activities as well: the zipline was amazing and the pedalos/paddle boards were easy to book and we were just left to it (swimming in the loch was beautiful too!). The barbecues at the chalets were really easy to use and you could buy coals for them at reception. We also used one of the fire pits by the loch on our last night which was so dreamy.
100% will be going back!
Saw some people mention the internet issues in their reviews. We were in Chalet 24 and although there wasn't wifi out that far (my friends were in 21 and they had wifi) there was still a great 4G signal so we didn't feel cut off at all. Definitely don't let it put you off!

Location was lovely and peaceful.
Gamekeeper's Cottage is very close to the main road so there's no view of the loch, but the road noise was minimal.
It's a pretty and welcoming house with plenty space for 6 adults.
The kitchen was extremely well equipped, the 3 bathrooms were a bonus as were the fluffy towels!
One of the single beds was uncomfortable, the mattress was too hard - other than that we had a super stay.

Loved the situation looking over the loch
Proper cabin feel to it
Very quiet area for a lovely break
Maybe better heating and wifi was very poor

We loved the location! The chalet was great, comfortable with a beautiful view.It was clean and well equipped. We would definitely recommend it for families or groups of friends.
The grill in the cooker was a bit slow to start off with, but after 7-10min it was hot enough to cook.

Excellent as always
No internet

The hot water wasn't always there, despite trying what we were told to get it to work. However, it's appreciated that the chalet we were in is one of the last to be renovated - so overall a good stay, with lovely views.
The hot water problem at chalet 21 - otherwise all good :)

Peaceful setting and very clean cabin.

Both me and my partner loved the distance our lodge was from others and the silence every night. Perfect to just chill out
I felt the cooker was very dated and was tricky to cook a decent meal with. Plus the beds had wooden slates restricting taller people

As our honeymoon was cancelled because of covid we found this on Booking.com. The scenery & Loch surrounding our wooden chalet was spectacular, the chalet was clean, comfortable and had everything you needed. We visited the surrounding areas and again every where was stunning, we would recommend this destination and would love to go back.

We did a different 10+ mile walking route with our dog each day all from our chalet. The chalet and site were super.

Stunning location, friendly staff, plenty of outdoor activities, lots of outdoor seating for family gatherings
Lack of WiFi, 10am check out, reception closed from 1pm, lack of electrical sockets in chalet

It was very quiet and secluded, just what we wanted. Very comfortable and the views were great. Plenty of cupboard space.
Damp smell on entering- on checkout morning discovered source in bathroom but I highlighted this in feedback form when leaving.
I didn’t think there was a hairdryer even though it stated this in blurb, so just went without (not a good look🤣), however found it in bottom drawer of kitchen on last day 🙄 (think bedroom would be better?).
The kitchen light underneath cupboard is very straining on the eyes as you can’t actually see into the glasses cupboard above as you get blinded - couldn’t see where to turn off this light.
Oh and the wooden surround around the bed was awkward, kept bumping into it getting in and out of bed.
Overall though we loved our break!

Location was excellent for our needs, the surroundings were beautiful and plenty of things to do
Wifi was non existent.
TV channel choice was poor. it had sky TV but no access to any channels, for the price paid expected better.

Our cabin was a “real” log cabin, with a beautiful view across the loch. There was plenty to do on site for the children, paddle boarding, zip wire, damn building, table top football, football golf.
The bill at the end for the activities was a bit steep, I think perhaps an upfront payment for a week would have been better.

Everything was perfect, ease of checking in and out, chalet was clean and beautiful the sauna certainly added a good touch . Couldn't ask for a better view as well.
The coffee hut was great as well.
