Great location in the heart of the historic city centre; super-friendly and helpful staff; very clean room (the floor was cleaned every day!); simple, but good breakfast selection; nice familiar atmosphere in the hotel.
The air conditioning in my room (no. 14) did not work well and should be renewed (it took several hours to cool down the room a litte bit, in other hotels where I stayed it just took half an hour with a powerful air conditioning); the fridge was out of order (it could not be turned on), so I could not cool down beverages; one morning, the watermelon in the breakfast room was not so fresh any more and had a sour taste, so I left it on my plate.
3.5
Location.
Excellent location in the heart of Pelourinho, near Elevador Lacerda. There are a lot of historic places to visit around. The outside and the inside of the hotel is also historic and nicely decorated. The WiFi works fine.
Breakfast.
Excellent breakfast, in variety, taste and abdundant. Served in a panoramic breakfast room.
Spa.
There is a spa with some hot water tubs. A bit expensive but very comfortable. Times and prices very clear.
Power outlets.
A single power outlet at one side of the bed, good for a bedside lamp and phone charger.
View.
The room has zero view; the only view is dirty walls and roofs of nearby buildings. There are no curtains, so you have to choose between fully opened window or fully closed window with artificial lights. The room is falsely advertised as "city view".
Room size.
I booked a 20m² room in this hotel, because it was cheaper than competitors of the same size. But I received a 12m² room. It seems that the hotel only has 12m² rooms, all falsely advertised as 20m².
Mattress.
The mattress is very uncomfortable, with a big hard saddle in the middle of the sleeping area, as if it has been used for years.
Appliances.
The room is advertised as having hair dryer and tea maker, but it does not have them.

Everything was amazing ! The hotel is very charming, the rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious in a very nice room with a surrounding balcony. The location is perfect, you’re in the center of the old city. The staff was helpful. Best place to stay in Salvador !

The location was perfect, right at the center. Staff was very helpful with their recommendations and free caipirinha. The interior design of the hotel is very cozy with beautiful lighting.
We asked for a double bed but they joined two single beds together which was not very comfortable.

Simply perfect! Beautiful place with friendly and helpful staff! Excellent location and breakfast

Lovely boutique hotel. well located. staff very helpful in answering any questions that I had (numerous 😊)
Great selection of breakfast items.
The front entrance/door needs to be fixed as does not shut/lock., although access should only be by key card
the reception area isn’t always manned which poses potential concern for security

An excellent place to stay. The staff on reception were particularly helpful and made out trip much easier. The room was comfy and quiet and the location is very central for some great food and drink.

Absolutely amazingly friendly staff, very central, best Caipirinha 🤩 and the tour guide they offer was the best!
No parking nearby, only estacionamiento like 15 minutes away… helpful to now if you come by car.

Perfect choice to visit and experience Salvador. Central location, beautiful building, wonderful staff, great breakfast.
The location in on a side square, not the noisest, but still just a 1 minute walk from the large squares. The building is beautiful both from outside and inside. Very well renovated keeping its spirit. The staff all spoke excellent English and were extremely helpful and professional. The breakfast has a wide variety of fresh food and juices.
The matress and bed could've been slightly more comfortable but was not a problem at all for a few days.

Good and varied breakfast.
Bottle opener should be available and bigger towels.

Fantastic location, the reception staff spoke excellent English and were super helpful with restaurant recommendations. They also helped us with safety - as we are typical European visitors with no clue as to were is safe to walk!. The breakfast is excellent- wide choice buffet style. I loved the breakfast room- little tables overlooking the square. Great Coffee as well. There is an old fashioned pool table- great fun after hours
This hotel is excellent value. The rooms are small but well designed. The central location meant the rooms could be noisy

Really nice decor and a spacious room. We used the spa facilities when we were there, the massages were amazing!
Really great location also, in the heart of Pelourinho. Would definitely recommend this place

Michel, the young man working the front desk, was a delight. He was extremely helpful, alerting me to various activities around town. He was so friendly and made me feel at home. Breakfast and breakfast room were very nice, too. Great overall atmosphere and location (one block from central square).

the location the bed was comfortable
no Hot water. and the shower was dripping for 24 hours. I said i had no hot water 3 times never had it. i was told 2 times that there was hot water and that i did not know how to get the hot water. At 48 I still need to learn so much

Great.
The shower was annoying. The cleaning crew could do better.
