Lovely overnight stop in a great location

The hotel was perfectly located on the canal side with plenty of parking nearby and a short walk to town. Check in was easy and there were hot drinks and biscuits available. The room had everything we needed and the laundry was crisp and clean. Breakfast in the cute dining room was plentiful and with a wide choice of hot and cold items. All the staff, especially Mariah on reception at check in were all helpful and friendly.

Staff were helpful and friendly and the location was perfect for our needs. Room was lovely and warm which was great because it was snowing.

It is a small hotel so facilities are limited. Bed was uncomfortable. Bed covers were for two single beds instead of a double bed and the pillows were very small and lumpy. Shower head needs adjusting.

Relaxing stay in a cosy hotel

We've been here for the 6th time and it was pleasurable as always; I can only repeat: - very friendly and kind staff - inner garden (lovely to have breakfast) - terrace in front with café - shops and restaurants in walking distance - perfect starting point for many trips in the area

- a second chair in our room would have been nice - some hooks (in the bathroom, but also in the room) were useful - one (or even two) - folding - racks for suitcases would enhance the comfort (This time our room wasn't well cleaned - and during our stay nobody has come - as usual - to cleanup)

Cute hotel, very comfy and friendly.

Really cute fairly small bijou hotel, very friendly staff on arrival and a great location Really comfortable bed and retty spacious room for the money.

Breakfast was a little bit basic but absolutely fine.

1-night stay

Great location and very nice staff. The breakfast was really good and varied, including homemade scrambled eggs (as it should be!). Our room was large and had more than the essentials, including a fan, a kettle, and a small refrigerator. We requested a safe place to keep our bicycles during the night and the staff helped us with that, which was extra nice! We would definitely stay here again!

Really cheap breakfast bag instead of advertised breakfast buffet. Nice room and location though.

They wrote that they had a breakfast buffet which was well appreciated by the locals in their description, but they had a very cheap breakfast bag they blamed on corona. Once you booked, they sent this information in a mail but honestly, who reads through all the details of those emails. If you advertise something on your marketing material, you should be able to deliver on it, if circumstances change, change the marketing material. I feel fooled. Except for the breakfast though, the stay was up to expectations.

Rather simple lodging at a high price

The bathroom was nice and the receptionist was helpful and the location was very good.

Rather spartan lodging for that price, breakfast was served in a brown paper bag and the TV channels lacked an international news channel.
