beautiful historic building with great artwork, a cute little shop and open patio breakfast area.
well situated to discover the town of todos santos
we also really enjoyed the beachclun: amazing amenities and super friendly staff
we thought the hotel was overpriced. you basically pay for the room (which is nice but simple: no slippers or bathrobes, no special touches or services you expect in a 5* hotel)
breakfast is not included, and is overpriced (cold toast, ridiculous small portion of yogurt and fruit).
also important to know is that swimming in the sea at todos santos (and at the beach club) is not recommended due to heavy currents. if you enjoy swimming in the sea, then it is preferable to go to playa los Cerritos.

no lounge chairs by the pool

The location is great, cute looking brick hotel mid center Todis Santos.
I paid $277 for a very small under 300 square foot room. I paid for an upgrade tona bigger room with a bath tub $311
DONT LOOK at the shower because it's full full full of black mold.
I was dying to pee when we got there & found a huge amount of back mold in the toilrt.
Sink drains very very slowly.
Ugh
NEVER AGAIN!!!!!
THEY. REFUSED TO REFUND WHEN WE WANTED TO LEAVE.
THIS PLACE IS GROSS
OH the TV is broken !!!
Only the tub

The breakfast was delicious and convenient!
The hot water pipe in our bathroom sink was leaking and we told the office but it was not fixed during our stay so we had to turn it off and only use the cold water. It leaked out onto the floor which was tile if we hadn’t turned it off.

Excellent location. Jose was excellent at the front desk.
The Bed was super comfortable.
There should be a coffee maker in each room. Would be great to have a small desk and chair in the room
We were assigned a room next to the elevator. Not sure why we always get the room next to the elevator, since
It’s usually louder. In this case it was no big deal because it was quiet throughout the hotel.
The staff was excellent and very friendly.
I would think a glass of wine for new guests would be an excellent marketing idea given the price per night of the
Room. ( The hotel price is similar to what I would pay in the United States for a similar hotel and location.

Guaycura hotel has an excellent location right in the middle of town near to restaurants, bars, shops, etc.
It is very clean and the food is surprisingly good for a hotel.
The staff were so friendly and helpful with everything we needed.
being right in the middle of town the hotel is quite noisy. Be sure to ask for a room that is located near the inner courtyard.
The use of the beach club is NOT FREE for hotel guests (only around the small pool which can get crowded). For a room that cost over 400 USD you would think that we could use the beach chairs and umbrellas without paying 15 dollars a day.
Also, there is NO free TRANSPORTATION from hotel to beach. This will cost you an additional 30 usd per day for the taxi (about 5 min ride). We were not informed of this before arrival.
We booked a whale shark swimming tour with the hotel and we are still waiting for the video. it’s been almost a month.

Beds hard and room dated. Shower temp not consistent

Beautiful, spacious room. Close to everything downtown. Great views from the rooftop bar and excellent fresh squeezed orange juice at breakfast.
A coffee maker or kettle for tea in the room would be nice since there isn’t an option before the restaurant opens at 7:30. Also, the beach club was closed one of the days of our stay.

Location is great and front desk staff is very helpful. Room was beautiful as well.
Construction crews working on the roof next door could see directly into our shower. Also, the water was turned off at night so toilet wouldn’t flush and then when it came back on at 4:30am it’s insanely loud and woke us up.

Estrella offered fantastic customer service for our 5 night stay at Guaycura. Always helpful and lovely to chat with. The bar staff and cleaning staff were also fantastic, always with big smiles and warm welcomes. Our room was exceptional - so spacious and relaxing with a great little view over the trees to the ocean. Although we didn't eat here we enjoyed lazing by the pool on the rooftop enjoying drinks and relaxing. Very relaxed and calm atmosphere and in a great location.
Couldn't fault this place - it was great to have all the creature comforts of a great hotel in a traditional Mexican setting.

Sunset roof terrace, beach club although you had to drive to it.
Standard room was a bit small and lacked storage space.

Great location. One staff ran to the bakery and bought us pastries when he found out it was my birthday.
Toilet ran constantly. Rooms very small. No coffee in the room.

Nice Hotel close to some nice restaurants and easy to reach. The rooms are well equipped and cozy. The beach club (5min drive from the hotel) is nice and relaxing. the hotel‘s roof terrace offers nice sundowners.
if your room is located towards the street, it can be a little noisy. the beach club is nice but you need to drive by car to reach it. overall the hotel is a little pricy but justified for what you get.

very well kept, nice artwork and rooms are very comfortable. the staff was amazing and very helpful and went above and beyond to help me place welcome gifts in the rooms of my guests including 2 that were staying in another hotel!
next to a busy avenue so it can get noisy at times. rooftop closes early (before 9p) so unable to enjoy a late night cocktail

Love the classic architecture. Roof top eatery is now my favorite spot in the pueblo. El Faro beach club access is a bonus
Ground level room on north side of hotel suffered from street noise

I wish you served lunch and dinner but that was it. Otherwise, it was a great stay and I'm so glad I got the chance to enjoy it.
