We were able to make a reservation while we were en route. The City of Oaxaca is FABULOUS even on Wednesday evening!
The room next door was inhabited by a young woman struggling to keep her unruly kids in line. The walls are NOT INSULATED AGAINST SOUND!

Great location in the city. Everything is within walking distance. Amazing staff, they really made us feel at home. Breakfast is amazing. At the end of the day, we would have coffee and hot chocolate. Quiet at night so we got to rest well after a full day of exploring Oaxaca.
A place to store water cool for the hot summer days was missing. A compact refrigerator would of been great to allow people to keep water stored and cool.

Rooms were booked for family during our visit. Hotel was able to meet all my preferences. Amazing and kind staff. Great location and easy to park. I really like that the restaurant and open past 6pm so enjoy some coffee and hot chocolate.
Compact refrigerator to store water and other beverages.

The room is quiet and offered a lot of space. It was clean and had no smells. The location is quite near to the main spots, although in a slightly poorer part of the central area
No power outlets near the bed. Also be careful, because the was a physical switch that turned the tv off, but it also turned of the outlet I used to charge my phone

The room was large. The bed was nice, except for the pillows. There was no chair to sit on. There was a nice desk/makeup credenza with a mirror and drawers. There was a small TV that received many channels in Spanish and two in English. There were no convenient electrical outlets to plug in device chargers or a computer. I had to plug my iPod charger into the bathroom outlet above the sink. I unplugged the TV to connect my computer to the outlet. The room opened onto a nice courtyard, but the echoes and noise from the courtyard was a problem when one is trying to sleep. The street noise was horrendous. Even though my room was at the rear of the hotel, I still heard all the street noise because the hotel keeps its garage door, lobby door, and restaurant door open all day and until about 10 PM. The staff was friendly and attentive, although very few spoke enough English to be helpful when I had questions.
When I booked the room in May 2021, the price was $53 per night. When I arrived in February, the price was $68 per night. I was not notified of this substantial change -- nearly 25% more per night -- and my reservation price was not honored. In the hotel restaurant, there were policies that seemed to change almost daily. The policies dealt with which menu offerings were included in the "bed and breakfast" aspect of the hotel, and with the portion size of meals. In addition, on the first Sunday I was there, breakfast was not included. On the second Saturday, the restaurant was closed. Sometimes a coffee refill was free. Other times, you had to pay for a second cup.

Decent location, could easily walk to anywhere in the centre.
I chose this hotel because I wanted somewhere outside to sit and relax and read. But the terrace area you see in the photos is just used as a car park so it doesn’t actually exist!

It was a calm oasis in the heart of a bustling city. The convenient parking and well appointed room made our stay easy and comfortable. The on-site restaurant was quite good.

Great to have secure parking just outside our door, excellent hot shower, excellent room temp, good breakfast, ok internet and quiet night, and only about 3 blocks walk to the zocolo.
Only one electric outlet and it was next to bathroom sink. Breakfast was good but half the menu wasn't available.
Could use a small animal relief area everything was paved.

the location is perfect, right in downtown, everything is close.. just some steps.
Clean room, a little bit cold
tiny notice there’s no hairdryer or iron (for those who considers to take it or not)
something no one mentions is the touristic street (which is full of hotels) is closed for cars, so if you stay there you’ll have to walk some blocks out of the Main Street for parking, so you won’t find a hotel with in place parking … Ferri is right where this area starts so is perfect if you come with car since the parking is right out of your door.
everything was fine

Pros:Very clean, spacious room, comfortable bed, hot shower, TV, air-con, free made to order hot breakfast (waffles were excellent), three blocks from Zocalo, 24 hour front desk, pet friendly with $200 peso nightly surcharge.
Cons: price was steep BUT it was Day of the Dead weekend. Woken at 2:30 am by partiers next door, but complaint to front desk put a quick end to that.

Traditional mexican hotel. People in the reception was very nice and helpful. Location was excellent. You can go by walk to Oaxaca center (10 mins.). You can park your car in the hotel which is very useful.
Wi-fi was terrible during the day. I had to wake up at 5 a.m. in order to be able to catch some wi-fi.
