In a large apartment in the city center, one of the beedrooms was on the quiet side of the house. You could have slept there until noon with complete peace of mind. The rustic Cornish style decor in the apartment was pretty lovely. The kitchen was relatively well equipped. The apartment was in a very nice post house building right in the center of the beautiful city. A few meters away were Tesco and COOP, two competing stores with a great British food selection.
It can be a little nerve-wracking to get the keys for a person who travels by public transport or on foot. To get and return the keys you had to walk about 600 meters on a street with a significant, 40 meter, rise. It was not possible to leave the keys in the apartment when leaving. That was perhaps the only thing we considered a problem.

At the entrance and on the stairs, there was an unpleasant smell.

great location but a bit eerie entering the disused post office downstairs - communal areas off-putting but the apartment was nice

Another tea towel would have been very useful, and maybe some kitchen basics like kitchen towel, tea bags etc.

Location. Brightness of apartment. Kitchen utensils. Big bath.
Very soft beds. Noisy street outside. Dated entertainment system.

Clean, comfortable, very central and easy access to the shops, restaurants and the beach. Lovely decor.
It was a bit noisy as it’s right on the main shopping street and opposite a pub. But during the week it’s ok and noise settles down after 10pm mostly.
