Sehr gutes Hotel in absolut zentraler Lage

Angenehmes Hotel , sehr saubere Zimmer mit guten Betten, das Frühstück Bufet ist vielseitig mit frischem Obstsalat, grandiose Dachterrase mit Bar und tollem Blick auf Funchal

Die Eingangslobby könnte ansprechender gestaltet werden

Nie mit Blick auf den "Innenhof" buchen

Gute Lage. Pool auf dem Dach mit Bistro/Restaurant/Bar. Frühstück war ausreichend, die Auswahl hätte aber besser sein können.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer auf der untersten Etage, mit Blick zum "Innenhof" mir fast keinem Tageslicht, da der "Innenhof" 4mx4m klein war und einem Schacht ähnelt. Das Zimmer war vom umgebenden Flur einzusehen, wenn man nicht den Vorhang zugezogen hatte. Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß, hat sich aber angefühlt wie in einem Bunker. Das Bad war recht klein, Silikon an der Dusche komplett schimmelig

Centralissimo e con piscina

Posizione centralissima per soggiornare a Funchal, a poche decine metri dal “salotto” di via Arriaga e dalla fermata Aerobus. La piscina sul tetto - spesso con animazione serale - è utilissima per una città praticamente senza spiagge. Comodissimo il lettone ortopedico a 3 piazze della junior suite, che ha pure due balconcini verandati con vista giardino per un piacevole relax senza necessità di uscire la sera.

La cassaforte in stanza si paga a parte, nonostante il costo non indifferente della camera. Hanno un noleggio auto di fiducia con consegna e riconsegna del mezzo in hotel ma - a differenza degli altri alberghi con lo stesso servizio - alla reception non si prendono la chiave una volta concluso il nolo, e bisogna aspettare che arrivino gli addetti del rent a car.

Prima verblijf voor een aantal nachten Funchal, toplocatie.

De locatie was gelegen in het centrum, dichtbij restaurants. Het zwembad was netjes en het zag er gezellig uit om te liggen. De kamer was netjes en schoon. Het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

De kamer was iets gedateerder en kleiner dan dat het deed overkomen op de foto’s. De kamer was wat licht. Het ontbijt was matig als voorbeeld de koffie die enorm drekkig was, mensen moesten staan wachten omdat er te weinig plek was.

La ubicación del hotel era excelente.

El ascensor estaba averiado y la cantidad de hamacas era insuficiente en la piscina. Además el comedor del desayuno es pequeño.

Frekventált helyen lévő, jó ár-érték arányú szállás

Frekventált helyen lévő szálloda, így minden látnivaló könnyedén elérhető a városon belül. Reggelire minden nap ugyanaz van, így egy idő után unalmassá válhat. Kellemes a tetőtéri napozóterasz és medence és barátságos a személyzet.

A szobák kicsik és rosszul berendezettek. Két szobát foglaltunk, kérve hogy egymás mellett legyenek, de ez sajnos nem volt így. A mi szobánkban az ajtót alig lehetett kinyitni az ágytól, s nem tartozott hozzá terasz sem, a másik szobához volt ugyan terasz, de ennek a szoba mérete látta kárát.

Attention à la position de la chambre.

Position de l'Hôtel idéale pour visiter la ville. Le jeune homme qui nous a accueilli était très sympathique.

Fenêtre de notre chambre donnant sur petit patio intérieur très chaud , du coup pas de ventilation possible et la clim ne fonctionnait pas dans cette chambre. Des marches pour accéder à la chambre. Mauvaise isolation phonique. Moisissures sur joints de la porte de douche.

Świetna lokalizacja, wygodne pokoje, mały parking.

Dość stary hotel zlokalizowany w bardzo dobrym miejscu pod kątem zwiedzania Funchal. Urządzony funcjonalnie i czysty. Malutki basen na dachu z ciepłą wodą. Ładny widok na park.

Wybrałem ten hotel głównie zer względu na lokalizację ale i praking. Niestety nigdzie nie jest napisane, że miejsce parkingowe trzeba rezerwować z dużym wyprzedzeniem! Pracownicy hotelu wskazali mi miedaleko jest tani parking publiczy ale trzeba do niego dojść około 10-15 minut. Gdybym wiedział o konieczności rezerwacji miejsca parkingowego zrobiłbym to na pewno. Śniadanie było bardzo skromne ale smaczne.

Et sentralt beliggende hotell, grei standard uten noe ekstra. Faciliteter og rom er noe nedslitt.

Beliggenheten er hotellets store fortrinn, sentralt ved Kommune-parken (Jardim Municipal). Det er kort vei til ‘alt’ i et område med lett blanding av fastboende og turister. tillegg har hotellet en flott takterrasse med pool og snackbar. Personalet er hyggelig og service-minded. Vi hadde rom med balkong, et stort pluss syntes vi, sjøl om den er trang. Frokosten er grei. Dette var vårt sjette opphold på Madeira Hotel.

Det første rommet vi ble tildelt denne gangen, var ikke skikkelig klargjort for nye gjester. Fant bl.a. et par sokker i en skuff. Rommet var i tillegg meget trangt. Vi ble (på forespørsel) tilbudt et annet rom neste dag, rent og fint og en tanke større:-).

Central location, nice rooftop

The hotel is right in the centre and easy walk to everything. Rooftop pool and bar are lovely and with great views. Staff were very friendly and helpful particularly the younger man on the front desk.

It’s dated and rooms are showing signs of wear. My room faced into a dark courtyard so not a nice view.

Localização e simpatia do pessoal da recepção

Quanto à limpeza do quarto nada tenho a dizer, exepto quanto ao facto de que para um quarto duplo com sala, deixaram um unico gel de banho para duas pessoas. Quando solicitado mais, embora o rececionista de serviço tivesse sido incansável, não conseguiu resolver o problema dado não ter encontrado onde se guardavam o referido gel

Toppenbra vistelse, kommer gärna tillbaka för jag hade allt omkring som jag ville ha det.

Det var en mycket bra frukost med färska bröd, bacon, äggröra,yoghurt,färska frukter m m. Trevlig personal och rummet var stort med balkong. Nära till mycket bl a shoppingcenter och restauranger och till hamnen. Solstolar och pool på taket med en bistro

Upon reaching out to management they claimed I was lying despite the photo evidence and proof from a

I suffered from bed bug bites and came up in huge welts all across my body. Upon telling staff they refused to do anything about it and I was forced to go to the pharmacy who confirmed it was bed bugs and gave me treatment. It was extremely distressing as they was so many bites and they were huge. I have attached photo evidence.

It served my purpose of having a place to stay near the port in Funchal well.

Good breakfast, room good but too warm. Shower only luke warm in morning - otherwise good. Staff friendly.

Recommended and without breaking the bank.

Great location. Quiet street and right in the centre of Funchal for easy walking access. Staff extremely helpful. Very good breakfast with lots of buffet choice. Even had a pool and seating on the roof. Used hotel for a 4 night Funchal stay. A far cry from the many huge waterfront "resort style" hotels being built along the coast West of the city which can be bit of a trek from the delights of the city.

nice unpretencious hotel which ticked all our boxes

good location/ relaxed feel/staff were there if you wanted them otherwise left you alone/room cleaned every day/breakfast ok with a fair amount of good choices/room with balcony spacious/good lifts/everywhere clean and tidy/perfect location in centre of Funchal.

bathroom was very small but ok with good shower but could not be much smaller and still function. Not really a problem but might upset some.

Great location. Clean room. Easy to move about in town and near all buses. Friendly front desk staff.

Room furnitures need some updating. Breakfast could be improved, at least with more varieties and better item rotations (at minimum increase in cost).
