Great feel to the pub and restaurant, very good food indeed and we had a really good evening catching up with friends.
Landlord sorted me a couple of ale collectibles - really appreciated!!
Continental breakfast did the job!
No major issues at all.

Breakfast not as expected. Location excellent.
Beds were comfortable. Room clean.
We assumed a cooked breakfast but instead a continental breakfast was supplied in the room. No choice offered. Storage space very limited. Inadequate surface area for items, especially for eating breakfast.

The location was excellent for attending a wedding at Clearwell Castle. The manager Scott was very kind and helpful. The pub garden looked great and the food for breakfast was good and nice served in my room
I found it difficult to do my makeup and hair in the bathroom without a shelf to put items on and a longer mirror would have been helpful
4.1
Really convenient location as I was a guest at a wedding at the nearby Clearwell Castle. There was a good variety of breakfast options (muffins, granola, yoghurt, fruit etc) and liked that fresh milk was provided for hot drinks. Bed was very comfortable. Property were really accommodating to early check in request and there’s plenty of parking space.
Would have liked a full length mirror in the room as was getting ready for a wedding

It was a quaint room in a lovely location. The restaurant food was lovely and a nice continental breakfast was put in my room in the evening ready for me to eat at my convenience in the morning.
The bed was a little hard and made my hips ache. Unfortunately there was a problem with the T.V. luckily I had a book to read so it didn't concern me too much.

My Mum & Dad had a lovely stay at the Butchers Arms, and would not hesitate to stay again. They stayed on a Saturday night, the room was pleasant, very clean and had everything you would need. The service was very good, the staff were friendly and attentive. They enjoyed a very nice evening meal to celebrate their Anniversary.

Friendly and efficient staff. Perfect location

it’s a cosy little place. Great location for a wedding at the castle being a stones throw away.
check in was easy, as always. (this is our go-to place when we have weddings here) staff are accommodating.
The continental breakfast is spot on with what’s provided. Beds are comfy, room was warm, the whole place was clean, good attention to detail here.
nothing

lovely pub
would prefer cooked breakfast to a continental

Position and attitude of staff
Only stayed the one night for a wedding, found everything just what we wanted

Possibly bread could be provided and toaster with bread and jam to go with breakfast.

The location was perfect! We were attending a wedding at Clearwell Castle which was a short walk away.
My bed was uncomfortable, and as we were getting ready for a wedding a mirror in the room would have been useful. I liked the breakfast but my husband, daughter and her boyfriend were really disappointed.

Staff really hospitable and couldn’t be more helpful, would have preferred a cooked breakfast but understand the reason for offering a continental. The room was bijou but facilities great, the bed was super comfortable I struggled to wake my husband! The staff really made our stay lovely and we would absolutely stay again.
Cooked breakfast, everything else was perfect 👍

I didn't have breakfast.

Very clean and welcoming
The breakfast, not much choice, I have crohn's disease and can not eat oats or apples. but I understand the convenience

lovely village pub, really nicely furnished, Staff were excellent and communication was excellent, let us check in early as we had a wedding to go to..would definitely stay here again..
nothing all good..

We would have liked a cooked breakfast but in the event the pub/restaurant was closed so we were provided with a continental breakfast which was lovely.
The room was very small. And it really needs a mirror in the bedroom.

staff amazing really accommodating
location fantastic
clean fresh and well presented
i like a cooked breakfast 😂 but they were away so I forgive

It was convenient for a wedding we were attending.
It was £95 including breakfast for a very small twin room which just had the very bare necessities, the bathroom floor grouting needed a very good bleaching, there was mouldy silicon in the shower, bathroom door & floor were dirty but the most disappointing thing was the breakfast, the restaurant food had very good reviews so I had great expectations but we were just given a tray with cereal, yogurt, cereal bar, muffin and an apple to eat in the bedroom with instant coffee, I'm sorry but for £95 we were expecting a full English and a nice capacinno. Definitely wouldn't stay there again, I could put up with the room but not the lack of a proper breakfast.

A good location for attending a nearby wedding.
Despite informing them that I was vegan in advance, the breakfast was poor.

Room was as expected. Restaurant was very good with cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. Continental breakfast served in room was excellent.
Would have been nice to have a bar area to sit and drink after dining. Somewhere to store bikes safely would also have made stay more relaxing.
4.1
Staff very friendly and location was stunning.
Food was very nice but crazy overpriced. Included breakfast was a yogurt pot in the fridge and a pot of granola left on the side with an apple. Very expensive per night for such a tiny room with ridiculous breakfast. Lovely pub & staff in a great location but not sure if I'll stay there again.
