Great location, cosy, well decorated studio with BBQ and deck that got lots of sunshine.
As this is a pet friendly accommodation we did find there was animal hair on the sofa and rug transferring onto our clothes from previous guests. We would have loved a few more towels, there were no face cloths and only 2 bath towels for 2 guests to share for the weekend. We would usually use 2 towels each showering. Also found the sliding doors temperamental to lock each time we went out.

Clean property, in a great location
The path to the property was really overgrown, uneven and hard to find.

The studio was so clean and comfy. Only a 6min walk into town. It was modern like it had just been renovated. Finishing touches were lovely. There was dishwashing liquid and washing powder and all the food staples. The bed and pillows were super comfortable and the shower was lovely. A nice little outdoor seating area.
I never received the email for checkin instructions so needed to call property for instructions but that was no issue. Access to the property is through a narrow stepping stone pathway that was very difficult to lug a heavy bike bag down. No issue if you have someone with you to help carry luggage but probably not suitable for older people or parents with a pram.

location
entry to property too narrow overgrown plants that need to be cut back so you don’t get wet when come and go

Excellent little beach shack in a prime location, central to everything the Jervis Bay area has to offer. The studio exceeded expectations and the description could do with an update to highlight that it has air conditioning and a washer/dryer combo. The kitchen is well appointed, with a microwave, cooktop and bar fridge, with a BBQ outside. The outdoor area is lovely and relaxing, with some sneaky water views as well. The bathroom is very nicely done and the lounge simple but nice. The location is amazing, in the heart of the middle section of Jervis Bay area, close to shops and restaurants and with a coffee spot two doors down. All in all, fantastic value and would stay here again.
Nothing that we didn't like per se, but as others have pointed out, the path to the studio, while very nice, is narrow and bumpy. Also, the hot water doesn't last long, but should be sufficient for a couple. The bed is comfortable without being amazing. The smart TV is a little temperamental. But none of this takes away from it being a wonderful place to stay.

Walking distance to town centre.
Path down the side of main house to studio a bit tough going for elderly with luggage.

the owner was extremely accommodating and really lovely and helpful when we had issues with the lockbox (it was user error and nothing wrong with it!). he called and talked me through it and was really happy to help. The studio has everything we needed and was really comfortable for a few nights
The only thing is the hot water didn’t last as long as we would like! It was fine for a quick shower but didn’t last a long time

Good location - short walk to shops/cafes
Property description said 'dining area - however this was an outdoor table with stools that was open to the weather - so rain or cool temperatures made this unusable for our entire stay.
Would have liked bedside table & reading lamp on both sides of the bed.

Would not stay here again- access is by a long private driveway on foot! We had exceptionally bad weather & it was a nightmare trying to get in & out of the unit without getting drenched & shoes ruined

An awesome location, just a few minutes’ walk from the main strip of shops by the beach and a cute cinema. The property was also well designed and very well stocked, with almost everything we needed for 4 nights. We were pleasantly surprised to find a hot plate and lots of cooking utensils so we were able to cook breakfasts and a dinner during our stay. The washer/dryer in the bathroom was especially convenient. It was also very peaceful and private.
We wished there was salt and pepper, and access to WiFi - this meant we couldn’t really use the smart TV.

Location close to local amenities, self-contained, modern decor, comfortable bed and lovely linens, comfortable sofa and great shower.
lack of off-street parking being on a main road into town; road noise; difficult access via side of house with uneven stepping stones; no shampoo or conditioner and no tissues provided; no salt and pepper; no oven; noisiest dishwasher we have ever heard (suggest changing this appliance due to studio setup of property).
4.0 / 10.0
The proximity to town.
Dispite sharing with another short term rental, the studio is very private and there is no traffic noise.
The property lacks quite a few essentials for a short term rental.
Things like tissues, salt and pepper, fly spray, paper towel.
When we arrived there was NO toilet paper. We searched everywhere then phoned the owner and left a message.
21 hours later he replied apologising that he had only just read the message. He offered to drop some toilet paper in but of course, I had already purchased some.
The only table suitable to sit at for a meal is outside, not under cover and was wet.
The outdoor mats were dirty and mouldy.
The access to the property was overgrown which made coming and going very uncomfortable particularly in the rain.

This accommodation is super clean, well organised, and cozy.
Path from the gate to room is a bit narrow to carry bags.

Great little home away from home. Back off main road which was great as it was nice and quiet.
There was nothing not to like.
