Sehr schöne ruhige Tage an einem wundervollen Platz direkt am Meer.

Senstationelle Lage direkt am Meer. Bei Flut kann man auch gut baden. Tolles Restaurant in unmittelbarer Nähe: "Green Islands Beach"! Mietwagen ist sehr zu empfehlen. Morgens, beim Frühstück auf der Terrasse ,kann man wunderbar die Abfahrt der ersten Tagesgäste zur Ile aux Cerfs beobachten. Ein kleiner Supermarkt befindet sich nur wenige Meter vom Haus entfernt. Küche gut ausgestattet um auch mal etwas zu brutzeln.

Très belle maison, décorée avec goût et très bien entretenue. Terrasse donnant sur la plage. Environnement calme et paisible. Bon accueil. On reviendra !

Superb

Very nice three bedroom apartment in Trou D'Eau Douce. The apartment was attractively furnished and well equipped. Particularly noteworthy is the direct beach location. Just go straight from the terrace to the beach and swim. In the vicinity there are various (good) restaurants, small supermarkets and booking options for excursions (e.g. to Ile aux Cerfs). We felt very comfortable here and would love to come back again.

Wonderful beach front villa

House is located on the beach with views to die for. Close to restaurants, a boat trip boarding point, and a spa just across the road. House is secure, and WI-FI is good. A fully -equipt kitchen and a comfortable bedroom made our stay simply wonderful. Parking is provided in front of the property.

We had a bit of a problem with the power generator alarm that woke us up but the host refunded us fully for that night. We wanted to use a kayak, but it wasn't clear where to find it and we had some communication issues as we don't speak French.

we were looking for a beach house in Mauritius and found this property standing on the shores of Trou dEau Douce bay. The mornings and the evenings, not to mention the nights, here are just perfect, everything you expect from a beachside property, the sunrise and the cool nights listening to the gentle waves and the quiet bustle of the local fisherman and boats getting ready for the cruises to the famous Ile aux Cerfs island. It has all the amenities, it is spacious, with a balkony overlooking the bay and with a genuine homely feel from times past. The host provides clear info ob how to reach the property and we suggest that you use a car, as the private car park is behind a gated community, making it ideal for short druves to Palmar or Belmar beach or to the bustling market ob Sunday in Flacq.

this place is the paradise

the location and the view are outstanding, we were so sad to leave after 4 nights. everything was perfect and the owner and the lady coming to clean were so helpful and nice. one of the best place we could rent since ever.

Awesome!

It has all you need, the beach is public but directly in front of the apartment. View is awesome. We also got our luggage delayed by the airline and owner was extremely helpful to assist when it was delivered next evening.

It's a bit difficult to find.. from main road go south towards the beach, in the small road located west from marked location. After a few meters you find an entry gate on left side. Drive through, shortly before a security warden office on left go to the parking at the right side

Best self catering-accommodation by far that we found within this price range.

The photos posted by the property on Booking.com don`t really do justice to the property as it is far nicer than the photos depict. The attention to detail upon arrival was exceptional versus other self-catering properties that we stayed at (we visited Mauritius for two weeks). Upon arrival there was bottled water and milk in the refrigerator, a fresh loaf of bread in the kitchen, a bowl of fruit on the counter as well as tea, coffee, sugar salt etc (all complementary). The property is fully serviced (there is a friendly housekeeper that comes in daily to clean the villa - none of the other properties we stayed in offered this service). The kitchen is large and well appointed with all the necessary utensils. Only the main bedroom has a bathroom on suite but the bedrooms are a good size with comfortable beds and clean linen. The patio, a couple of metres from the water, is partially covered and has comfortable patio furniture. We spent a lot of time on the patio soaking up the beauty of the ocean. The sea in front of the property is not really an idyllic swimming beach but you can swim safely in front of the property. The property has a canoe / kayak that residents can use and it was great fun paddling in the calm ocean. This property was good value in relation to others.

It is difficult to fault this property but bear in mind that the beach if front of this property is public (all beaches in Mauritius are open to the public) and as such there were a couple of tourists and locals walking past the property (and a dog on the odd occasion).

Excellent location to enjoy the sea

Location in the beach. Although it was winter and the weather was not ideal, we really enjoyed it.

We struggled to get in the first day and pick the keys.

Highly recommend.

Everything. The lovely gesture of a loaf of bread, butter, milk and fresh fruit when I arrived. The villa was cozy and exactly as advertised. Lovely Adeline who assisted with my checkin was super friendly and nice.
