Our lovely 4 bedroom, 2 bath is located In the quant village of Wauwatosa only minutes away from Milwaukee and an hour train ride or 1-1/2 hour drive to Chicago. The house is walking distance to nice restaurants and shops on North Avenue. A 10 minute drive to Downtown Milwaukee and Fiserv Forum (Bucks). American Family Field (Brewers), Milwaukee County Zoo, Marquette University and the beaches of Lake Michigan are all close by. Come stay at your home away from home.

This was a terrific property, large, clean and spacious with ample parking and easy access to wherever you need to go in Milwaukee. The host left clear instructions and was extremely communicative. Would definitely recommend this spot for a family get-together.

We visited Milwaukee to spend time with our son who was interning for Milwaukee Tool. Having a place that was close to his apartment as well as downtown Milwaukee and all it has to offer was important, as was accessibility for my FIL who can only handle a few stairs at a time. James' property checked those boxes. Along with it came proximity to adorable shops and delightful restaurants and bakeries in the lovely suburb of Wauwatosa. Nothing we wanted to do was ever more than 15 minutes away. The house was comfortable and in a lovely, quiet, clean neighborhood. While the amenities in the kitchen were a bit light compared to other VRBOs we've used, we made it work. James was very responsive to our questions and needs. Beds were comfortable. Back deck was pleasant to sit on. Driveway allowed for three vehicles. The woodwork and decor gave the house so much character! Our family enjoyed its time together over Father's Day weekend.

My friends and I do an annual weekend in Milwaukee and have stayed in some bad places, and neighborhoods. Not this place. Excellent neighborhood. And the house was perfect. Clean and just the right size. Communication was excellent as well. I think we finally found our annual weekend retreat.

What an ideal location for our downtown Milwaukee wedding. More reasonable than getting multiple hotel rooms, and allowed us perfect space to spread out, but also congregate as a family when we weren't at the wedding. Lovely home away from home!

Neighborhood was nice, quiet street. Beds a little harder than what I like. Very clean easy in and out checkout. Older home with some strange closets upstairs which weirded out my kids. Would be good for smaller family. All in all nice place

Traveling to see the Brewers play, bars within walking distance of the house that offered shuttle service to and from game. We had a great time, many places to eat, drink within walking distance.

Quiet neighborhood. Loved to sit out on the front porch. Easy driving access to attractions. Great to have a downstairs bedroom and bathroom for those with mobility issues.

We loved our stay! We were a group of work colleagues who typically work remotely and we’re together for a few days of informal work together. House was exactly as described online, and the location was great to be able to walk to food and drink options.

This is an older home in good repair and very clean. It was great for us and our adult children. James made checking in and out really straight forward. Would stay there again.

The location was great - nice neighborhood and great walkability to restaurants and shops. The house is very old, but has it's charms. However, there was only one chest of drawers for the 4 bedrooms and no hangers in the 4 closets. So, 4 of has had to live out of our suitcases; which was the primary reason to rent a house instead of a hotel. There were only 4 chairs available for the dining room table; no furniture in one of the rooms by the patio doors; light and fan fixture not working; no turntable plate in the microwave either. The laundry table in the basement had some sort of detergent goo all over it. The outside grill was there, but very dirty and covered in bird droppings. We did speak with James, the property owner, on a couple of these items, but then didn't bother after that. This listing states sleeps up to 7 people, but I would say it accommodates up to 4 people.

This was our second time staying at this lovely property! It’s in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Freeway access is nearby, so getting around the city was easy and quick. The house was perfect for our family’s needs. Loved the Craftsman details, the great layout (4 br’s + 2 full baths, no less), and thoughtful amenities. The owner was available to quickly answer any questions. We had an absolutely wonderful time there, & can’t wait to return!! Thank you!

Our friends and husband had a wonderful time, it was a short distance to my grandson's baseball tournament which was our reason for the Milwaukee stay! Thank you much! I would've liked the stereo/speakers/bluetooth to work that was in the living room, but that was not a big deal at all!

Whereas we were visiting Milwaukee for a funeral the loction of this house qould be perfect for a family visiting Milwaukee for sightseeing. The home is upto date and extremely well maintained. Warm and cozy. Owner was easy to work with. Overall the property met and exceeded our expectations.
