We stay there only for a nature, otherwise no worth it!

good location, lovely nature, very nice stuff in the Osborn Hotel restaurant.

we will never book that place again! cold property with broken heating system. -uncomfortable bed, it is not double bed but two singles mattes provided as one double. Forget that you will be able to take a relaxing bath. There is a bath but you can only take a shower. It takes ages to flash the water in the toilet, and you have to wait 15 -20 min before you can flush it again! old furniture , and the dishes in the kitchen plus a lot of out of date products in the kitchen cupboard including out of date milk for the property guests . Rude property owner who do not want to provide the invoice for the payment as in her opinion it is booking.com responsibility to provide documents. when I made polite request, I received response “ what you want from me?”… I am travelling a world and very often visiting the hotels or rent a property for short stays. I have never meet such a rude owner. It is very clear that this lady had no intention to invest in the property that needs repairs and renovations. The location is good , and the nature lovely but what you see on the picture isn’t true. A property is smaller, and you have to walk to the beach. This property is part of Osborn Hotel, there is no information about it when you make a reservation, so you can by easily confuse when looking for this apartment ( owner of the apartment believes we had a problem to find an apartment because we were born in the Europe and there people write an addresses in different way). Good place for people with no high expectations.

Idyllic location

The flat is lovely and bright and stylish.

We just had a problem with the heating. Bed was a bit soft but that’s subjective. Other little things but it’s just a question of getting used to a new place.

Apartment in a lovely location with great view of the sea nice and quite . Apartment is quite spacious with everything you need.

When we got there we could not connect to the wi fi so I had to text the host however she did get back to me straight away but then we could not make or recieve any calls due to reception so unless you have wi fi calling you have to go out of building until a signal is reached. Also just a few things like the bed base was two singles pushed together with double mattress on top my husband said he felt the gap in between when he turned over. And there’s no view at all from bedroom only the back of the building which we think had scaffolding up but the glass was frosted. We loved our stay but just a few things need attention. Just one more was the toilet each time we flushed it there was a whistling noise for about ten min after but this could be due to the pipes.

Gorgeous location

Fabulous location, nice furnishings, comfortable and spacious.

The kitchen facilities. Old cooktop - had to guess which knob to use. Advertised with dishwasher so I would expect one dishwasher tablet per day of stay - we had one for four days - worrying with COVID rampant again Coffee machine also included in advertising but no coffee pods left for its use. At least leave two so the guest can buy more once they determine the type of machine at the premises Odd assortment of cups and mugs and saucepans. No tea towel, washing up bowl which didn’t fit in sink. All little things which didn’t matter in the larger scheme of things but which could be rectified for a few pounds and which would be in keeping with the price charged for the apartment in keeping with its luxury image

Small gap under the door which let in cool air. Windows were a bit difficult to open as I am elderly and struggle with lifting things.

OK apartment

Improvements would be : Describe the apartment as being part of the Osbourne Hotel building, it would make it easier to find. Fix the tv aerial securely or better still upgrade to smart tv. Remove small blanket box at foot of bed as it is a great thing to stub your toe on during the night.

Pleasent stay in a great location

Location very good so near to the beach/with fabulous views from the terrace bar.

Shower a bit fiddley to use and bath fills while showering, drain needs attention. Kitchen area needs updating.

Sunny and bright apartment!

A lovely bright and spacious apartment with lovely sea views. It has everything we needed for a self catering holiday and more! The whole place is very comfortable and quiet. The beds are very comfy! We were given detailed information in advance. Thank you so much, we hope to be returning guests.

Unfortunately, when we enquired about using the hotel facilities, they told us that as we werent staying in the hotel, we couldn't use the facilities. This could be due to covid though.

Mini break in Torquay

The location was lovely and relaxing, as it was not in the centre of Torquay but was near enough for access. The sea views from the site were amazing.

Everything was fine about the property. However when we went into the hotel bar one evening the bar attendant was quite rude so we left without ordering a drink.

Very enjoyable stay in Torquay despite the mixed weather.

Loved the location near the sea, parking near the apartment and the comfy sitting room and kitchen area. Thank you to the owner for tea, coffee etc.

Bedroom was rather small, entrance hall and outside of the property in need of maintenance. One window had a cracked glass.

4 night mid-week visit

Perfect location. Right on the beach, with amazing views. Really peaceful and quiet but just a 15 walk in to the town centre. Lucinda is an excellent host, all that you need for a short stay is provided. Would definitely stay again

Overall accommodation and stay was very good and would happily revisit

Airy and fresh. Was spotlessly clean. Quiet with good views. Host owner was always friendly and helpful.

No curtains to close in the evening therefore no privacy. Then realised had wood shutters but difficult to shut and one wouldn't close because where it had been painted was stuck. So got three quarters privacy. Need to improve situation in bath where someone has chipped it badly which is of course a shame but needs to be repaired properly,

Beautiful apartment in a gorgeous location

Gorgeous apartment right on the beach, charming location, beautiful view and right beside a hotel so easy to use their bar and pop in for breakfast etc. Due to Covid, when we stayed they were only letting hotel guests use the pool but they normally would allow others in. Worth checking before you go. We didn't mind though as the beach was so lovely. Lucinda was really great to deal with and the apartment was bright, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We booked a lady called Deborah to come and give us a massage during our stay, it was heaven. I would completely recommend her! We had a great time and would definitely stay there again.

Everything was lovely, we wouldn't change a thing.
