I had my 50th Birthday party there for Memorial Day weekend. Amazing place!!!There is not one negative comment I can think of. I had a perfect celebration. There was so much to do there outdoor and indoor that I wish we could off stay longer. The owners were so nice. All my friends and family loved the house and the property. We all had a great time. THANK YOU

Was great having space for our spread out family: Oklahoma, Florida, Texas and New York. 17 of us ranging in age from 86 to 6 months! The surrounding area is so peaceful and the house was large enough for us to gather together and also find some alone time. We were "treated" to some heavy winds and rain that knocked the power out- but only for a couple minutes until the generator kicked on. The property owner showed up soon after the storm passed to make sure all was well- fantastic friendly owners! We are hoping to stay here again in the future!

Great place for our wedding party weekend. Scott was super accommodating and was an excellent host. Would recommend especially if you plan a small wedding. Just one note the entertainment room is not heated but this did not deter us and was fine even in January.

We had 17 people staying for a three day rainy weekend and everyone was very pleased with the place. It was large and spacious and everything worked great. Scott was a great host! Would rent again.

We loved our stay at this property, the house was fantastic. It easily accomodated all 21 of us, and the hot tub was a huge hit. Rowboats, canoes and a kayak was included with the property and there are even hiking trails. If you have a family reunion like we did or just a large group definitely book this house.

we would like to thank Scott and Ann for letting us enjoy their house for the week. We were a group of 20 (17 adults 3 kids} and we had more then enough space to hang out together. The property is well kept and there is plenty of fish biting in the lake.
Firepit was non stop each night, thank you for all the wood supplied. We only had 1 small issue and Scott responded in mere minutes. Perfect for our family reunion.

Great place for our group to stay as we fished the west branch of the Delaware. Owners were very responsive and accommodating and the lodge was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Negatives:
1. Rules for the place are a bit over the top. We were asked to leave it as we found it. Since we paid over $1,000 per day, we feel we should not have been asked to clean before we leave. There was a warning about how to treat the hot tub-rinse off first, no food or drink in it. They would not ne cleaning it while we were there.
2. Also, we were asked to use only the perimeter of the lake during late morning and most of the afternoon due to a kids’ camp making use of the lake to take kids tubing during that time.
3. Finally, ticks were awful, not that the owners can help that. We believe we should have been made aware of these things after we requested to book but before making the actual reservations.
Positives:
1. Plenty of room for everyone.
2. 2 kitchens came in handy.
3 The fire pit and volleyball set-up were nice additions if it wasn’t for the ticks.
4. Plenty of towels for everyone even with hot tub usage.

Great place for a group to hang out together and not worry about bothering or being bothered by anyone else. Very private location.
Creative how they turned a large stable into a very livable multi bedroom, multi bath place with comfortable family room and kitchen gathering spaces plus a game room with a wet bar.
There are a hot tub and dry sauna inside as well but we did not use them during our stay.
Outside is very clean and open with a great grill and large fire pit with bench surround and plenty of mowed space for outdoor play and events.
The lodge is an easy walk but 400-500 yards from the lake and the view of the lake is limited. That said, the views of the surrounding fields, forest and hills are not disappointing and the lake itself is clean and accessible.
The owners were very responsive and accommodating. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

We had a great time staying in Scott’s house for a weekend with friends. We were a large group of 6 couples and kids under 2 and the setup was perfect with enough space for everyone. It was really nice to have some bedrooms away from the main area so the kids could go to bed and the adults didn’t disturb them. Scott was a great host and was really helpful when we had a problem with one of the fridges. The one piece of feedback I would give is that while there are a lot of products in the home like spices etc, there were some basics missing (like olive oil). Not a huge thing, but keep in mind if there is something you really need for a certain dish. Easy enough solve though as town is about 10 mins away and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this place for a big family or group.

I'd give this an even higher rating if I could. As a group of friends, we have been spending New Year's Eve together for the last 16+ years. We started as teenagers at a college retreat, then we grew up and a camp just wouldn't do. We've rented many a property throughout the years but really, nothing beats this one. There is so much space for everyone, plenty of privacy for those that need it, sound doesn't carry throughout the house so those that want to sleep can sleep, those that want to have a party can have a party, there are two kitchens which are such a help when cooking for a group of 20+, the amenities are wonderful, and we could not have asked for a better place. We are so looking forward to coming back next year. Scott and Ann were incredible hosts, very responsive and accommodating. Thank you for letting us stay at Lake View Estate!

Our family of 14 adults loved our long Thanksgiving weekend in this renovated horse stable. The main floor open concept and stocked kitchen worked great. Having a pool table in the adjacent room, so accessible made us play more pool than we ever have. The hot tub and sauna were clean and ready to go. Owner was wonderful. He came over and tried to resolve an odor issue from the downstairs bathroom. He also offered to take us on a hike on the trails around the property. We really enjoyed staying there. The one surprise was that 5 of the bedrooms didn't have windows. Some folks didn't care at all about that, some did.

We had an amazing time celebrating a birthday with 22 family members. The house is spacious, the property is gorgeous with hiking and beautiful views. We really enjoyed the fire pit. Scott and Anne left us muffins to welcome us which were delish. I definitely would rent this home again.

Amazing Time
We booked a weekend getaway with our family and couldn’t be happier with our time here. Scott and Ann were amazing hosts and made sure we were taken care of. There are plenty of rooms and space for everyone. So many activities to do on the property alone: hiking, kayaking/canoeing, bonfire at night, stargazing, hot tub and pool table! Our family had such an amazing time. They even left us a smores set (super thoughtful). Hopefully we will be back one day :)

Great Stay & Great Energy!
The stay was amazing from top to bottom. We had a group of old highschool friends get together and Scott showed us the place and everything we needed. The hot tub was clean and the sauna was great (give it 30-60 mins to warm up but then it's perfect).
Overall loved the space and the hike trails they are building. The location is a bit far out but that's what was great about it how we can disconnect for a bit from the city living we usually do. Also the wifi worked great. Overall a great place to stay and great hosts.

We were a family of 21. There was plenty of space for everyone. Hot tub was a hit. The land was perfect for outdoor games of soccer or baseball. Everyone enjoyed fishing. Beds were comfy. Scott was great with answering questions. The s’mores he left out for us was a hit also.

21 of us (6 families) had a blast at this house for a long weekend! We went sledding, ice skating, and ice fishing! The owner was responsive and nearby and able to address any issues fast but also didn’t invade our privacy. There was baby gear, shovels, and sleds for us to use. There was plenty of space for all of us to enjoy the house and still have our own space. Beds were comfy (some had nice memory foam mattresses!) and it was clean. Owner also cut paths with his snowmobile for us to snowshoe on.We will definitely be back again for another stay!

WOW!
One word. WOW! What a property. The home and land made for an awesome weekend. Enough room for everyone to spread out both inside and out. I would highly recommend the property.

Extremely fun!
Awesome trip! From check in to check out, the stay was great. At check in, Scott showed us around the house and explained clear guidelines. He was accessible 24/7 by landline; the cell service was terrible. The WiFi was okay; we mostly used it to stream Roku (inlcuded in the house). The property is huge; the dogs had a great time running free. We didn't think we were bothering any neighbors because we were so far from everyone and everything. We took advantage of the boats and kayaks at the lake; that was a great day time activity. The BBQ grill is large and amazing. As for the bedrooms, it wasn't mentioned that 1 of the 9 bedrooms doesn't have AC but it was okay because the weather there can get chilly at night (except the room doesnt have windows). This house came with towels, bedsheets, blankets, which was all very convenient.

Perfect Weekend Retreat10/10
This is the PERFECT place to stay with a large group of family or friends. Scott and Ann are friendly, accommodating and incredible hosts who even had S'mores ingredients waiting for us to enjoy around their beautiful campfire and property (and let us use their private tennis courts on their personal property at Camp Hilltop). The Barn is massive and allows room for everyone to comfortably have their own space and features two full kitchens (one on each floor), a game room with a billiards table and bar, and a fully functioning sauna and hot tub. The Lake and surrounding area itself is gorgeous and we loved taking out the Kayak's and boats provided with the rental. The dock is a great place to hangout to catch some sun or fish and the lake water is clean and warm yet refreshing. The house was described accurately, and exceeded our expectations with so many options and activities to choose from. This is truly a unique property with beautiful views everywhere you turn, and I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a memorable weekend. Thank you Scott and Ann for having us!

Great secluded getaway
Great place. The owners Scott and Ann were very sweet and responsive. Gave great recommendations. We went ice fishing across the lake. Caught some huge large mouth bass! I only wish the hot tub was outside. But it’s still great inside! The beds were clean, great place overall.

Huge House for our family gathering
We went up in Jan 20 of us. House is converted horse barn. Owners super friends and hospitable. They did anything they could to make our stay as comfy as possible. House had a great glow with bedrooms on 2 different sides of the living space. 1 big bunk room was great for young ones. 2 full kitchens was super helpful when prepping a meal for 20. Pool table hot tub sauna kept us all busy in a rainy weekend. Owner offered to cut me a hole in the ice so I can I’ve fish and bring sleds for the kids to sled if the rain turned over to snow. They also have an alpaca farm they offered to give us a tour of. There was also no cell service which I loved because it made all the cousins connect with out their phones. There was Wifi for streaming movies and stuff. Overall a great house and a great value. Weill be back for sure.
