We had a great stay at this house! It was the perfect size for our 30 person gathering. There was plenty of space and it was perfectly stocked. The property itself was really nice and a great space to get away.

The main highlight of this stay was the location. It was absolutely breathtaking. The pond, the mini golf, the basketball court, the gazebo, the stream, and the rope bridge where all amenities and locations we took advantage of. The main draw back was the WiFi which was consistent in signal throughout the house, but very lacking in speed. The hosts gave us a detailed overview before our stay, but did not respond to any of our questions during the stay. Overall would recommend for anyone especially those staying over with a large group.

Our family had the best time at this cabin. Lots to keep everyone busy between the mini golf, fishing, hot tub, campfire and games. Plenty of room to spread out and to hang out together. We loved all the outdoor space and the porches where we could still be outside in the rain. The WiFi did not work but there was plenty to keep us busy. Looking forward to coming back!

We had 32 family members, ranging from age 81 to 2 months. And the place was just great for us! Plenty of different areas for people to gather; lots of room for the kids to run around outside; lots of bedrooms. We did biking on the nearby "rails to trails" and hiking on the property and elsewhere. The kitchen was well equipped. The only negative is that there is no recycling.

Everything was as noted on the listing. Would have been perfect if the hot tub was working!

The house was wonderful, and there was so much to do outside as well! Worked so well for our company retreat!

First of all we had the most wonderful time celebrating our 50th anniversary with our children and grandkids. Other than the broken hot tub which was disappointing, it was very nice. The lack of WiFi turned out to be a blessing since our grandkids actually were engaged with the rest of us.

We all had a great time. There were plenty of indoor and outdoor activities for everyone to do. We had a very diverse age group - from 2 - 92. The house is amazing for large groups with plenty of rooms and bathrooms. The kitchen, living rooms, patios, etc. are terrific!

The highest praise I can give is that with a family group of 24 people, 12 of them being children under the age of 12, we all were sad to end our weekend get together. Even with one of the days being chilly & rainy!!! Everyone was looking forward to doing it again.
The lodge itself was huge, the property is even more expansive! Everyone had plenty of space to be together or to be alone. The house was perfect for our large group. It was very nice, clean and cutely decorated, yet I never felt like it was a place we couldnt relax. I think much thought has gone into providing a good stay. The kitchen had anything you could need. And if you do need anything, the grocery is less than 10 mins drive. The hot tub was large, clean and very enjoyable.
The worst thing I can say is the bunkrooms are very small with very limited room for luggage. No one seemed to find it an issue. And some of the recreational things, like pool table and mini golf show lots of use. But nothing that should deter anyone.
We had an amazing time and I can't imagine it being so wonderful anywhere else!!

We had a great time here with our church youth group!

We rented this property for a family reunion on the first weekend of March. We had ~40 people total with a range of ages from 1 to 70. Overall, the house was clean, and everything was stocked. Also, we appreciated all the labels and instructions. Also, the kitchen equipment was excellent. They have a mix of plates, cups, etc. But they also have big cutting boards, large pots, and catering pans, that allow you to cook for a crowd easily. The grocery store is only five minutes away, which made runs for ice and other emergencies super easy! This allowed us to get set up quickly and enjoy our time. The heat worked great, and once the Sun came out on Saturday, we enjoyed outdoor decks and spaces. In particular, our group loved the grounds, it's almost like a camp, with a pond, multiple decks, trails, a basketball hoop, and 18 hole miniature golf course. We also enjoyed the hot tub and the large common area where we could gather. The only negative is that the rooms are very tight. Each upstairs room has a double bed on the bottom and a twin bed on the upper bunk. The beds were comfortable, but the rooms were essentially for sleeping only. If you've ever been on a cruise, the rooms feel like a cruise ship. For us, this was great because it forced everyone, including the teens, to be together in the common areas. Also, the pool table in the basement is beaten up but still playable, which only adds to the property's charm. Overall, we loved our stay and hope to come back next year!

The Lodge was very nice. Though the bedrooms were limited in space, overall it accommodated us well. There was something to do for all of our interests. The scenery was beautiful. The mini golf was so unique and fun. Many relaxing places to sit and enjoy. The ice machine was an added pleasure. The best feature for us were the fireplaces. They made it cozy and comfortable! We loved this place and would very much return.

Perfect spot for a large gathering of family and friends for our 46-person annual winter retreat.
The rooms are a bit small which was a pro & con. It meant that most of our guest would be forced to come out of their seclusion and enjoy each other in common areas. What few issues we had that were handled quickly. There was a winter storm the weekend we visited and the log cabin was our focal point; kitchen was used to prepare great meals; fireplace kept us warm; games were entertaining; and sleeping quarters were adequate for that purpose. We highly recommend this cabin if you want to relax, unplug from the world, and answer that call to the wild. Thanks to Emma, Keith & Ronda; we look forward to staying at Timber Ridge Acres again

Amazing lodge with enough rooms to fit our large gathering. Multiple places to hang out. Would love to see it in warmer months, but we still played miniature golf before it started snowing. Large tables for meals made it possible to sit 29 adults and 9 children mostly 4 & under. We hope to return in the future.

We had our large family Christmas gathering here and had a terrific time. Plenty of beds and bathrooms. Large areas to gather with lots of seating. Mini golf and hot tub were great. It was great to have 3 refrigerators and the large stove/oven. Great place for large families!

We had a wonderful time here. The house is big and perfect for our large family. Nice industrial oven and three big refrigerators made it easy to cook for our whole group. We hiked around the grounds and made use of the playground and putt putt course. It was close to a grocery store and liquor store. We loved the indoor flea market down the road too.
Most of the bedrooms were really small, but that was the only thing that we didn’t like and it wasn’t a huge deal because there was so much room in the rest of the house. We would still definitely come back and stay again and we look forward to doing so! Highly recommend.

We went as a church staff with our spouses for a relaxing retreat. There was plenty of space to eat together and meet together. The property is beautiful and we enjoyed walking on the grounds and having a bonfire at night.
The rooms were very small, just the bed and a tiny space to stand, but beds were comfy. The water pressure in showers was great, and overall, the house was very clean.
The only issue we had was not being about to use the oven since the igniter was broken. This was tricky since we had planned to cook and use it. The owner was responsive and allowed us to use the oven in another cabin down the hill, so that worked out.
It was a fun and unique space, and we are so glad to have found it. Thank you!

Great vacation! Loved all of the amenities and the lack of tech. We were forced to gather in the ways we prefer.

Stunning amount of equipment, well stocked kitchen, perfect layout with comfort and privacy for tons of adults. The wooded property is lovely. A+!

Last year I had had a dream about a wood house and all of my family and friends there. Then I happened to look on VRBO for the first time, and this property was the first to catch my eye, and I knew I had to gather my loved ones together there.
The hosts were SO incredibly accommodating and kind and responsive. Every inquiry was met with a friendly and timely answer. The home was so large and able to comfortably fit many of my family and friends, and all of the games, hot tub, river, and nature kept them busy and having a wonderful getaway weekend. It is spacious so people can have privacy while being in a large group, and has such a warm and homey cabin vibe that feels so authentic.
I hope this place never loses it's charm, other guests respect the property, and I hope to be back soon ❤️
Thank you a million times over for such a beautiful space for a weekend I'll remember forever!

This house is fantastic and the owners have given thought to all details to make for a welcoming stay. This was our 73rd annual family reunion and we have rented homes all over the East Coast - this was the best of them all.

It was a great place to get together with family. Plenty of rooms for the married children and grandchildren. The mini golf provided lots of fun and the well stocked kitchen made it easy to prepare meals.

We have said over the past decades and many beautiful locations on the west coast around Lake Tahoe, and on the east coast in the Poconos, our entire family raided this as one of our best vacations, the owners prepare the house and grounds in a way that is extremely accommodating to guess we are grateful to have had the opportunity to stay here and look forward to returning in the future

This property is even better then the images. This house comfortably fit 38 people. Check in and check out was quick and easy. The owner was very nice and easy to communicate with. This property is completely isolated for the perfect retreat with friends. Could not recommend this property more, definitely will be coming back.

This property was the perfect base for our Bachelor Party! The cabin was located in the perfect spot for us to visit a distillery (Black Draft Distillery) and pick up barbecue food (Berkeley Springs Brewing). From the beginning to the end of the trip we found something new with the property. The 18-hole mini golf course (with lights for the night time), the hot tub (which could easily fit 8 adults), the hiking trail, the gazebo (with an outdoor fridge and grill) and fire pit next to it led to a great time outdoors! Once we were in for the night the ping pong table, the long tables on the main floor perfect for games and poker, the screening area and screened in porch were perfect for our group to have a enough going on to always have something to do or hang out. The property is clean and the instructions of where to find what were great. Most of us slept upstairs each person with their own room while the Bachelor. Truly the best experience we could have hoped for!

The Lodge worked great for a gathering of pastors from the mid-Atlantic and New England. The property is beautiful and the lodge is very functional for a large group.

The photos do not do this place justice! The upstairs bedrooms are all bunk beds with a queen or double on the bottom. This is a great location for a large group with many things to do. If you cant survive without TV and fast wifi bring your own. Otherwise, fish, relax, hike, play, eat, relax, fish, and did i say relax??? We were there with 4 little ones and 6 adults and would love to go back!

A beautiful property! The pictures do not do this property justice. It is so much better! Spacious and well organized, especially with the linen situation. The rooms on the second level are small but up to date and just enough room to feel comfy. Large kitchen, three refrigerators and a deep freezer. Two entertainment areas, large dining area. Large spacious outdoors, the kids had plenty to do. Two grills one on the back deck, the other under the pavilion. Communication was met with prompt response and issues taken care of immediately. We just needed an extra propane tank. Great place for large families! I would definitely stay again.

Great place! Secluded enough for the rustic feel, but enough activities on site to keep you entertained. The property is HUGE! We stayed in February, would love to check it out in the summer....it's on our "saved" list!

This was the perfect property for the perfect New Year’s Eve weekend - a large group of us was able to fit comfortably, kitchen was well stocked and tables could accommodate big meals, lots of common areas for joint hanging or if we wanted to spread out. Mini golf was cherry on top, great fun!!

What a cool property! Amazing outdoor space and games, with a huge three level house. The hosts were great to work with, the house was really clean and well set up for a big group. The house was even decorated very prettily for the holiday season. The only downvote might be because the internet was on the weak side. I highly recommend the property and would happily rent it again.

Had a great weekend at the house with 5 families - 5 couples and their kids. The layout of the house let each of the kids have their own room which was a win with all the teenagers in the group. Plus the bocce ball and mini golf on the property gave us plenty of activity with the kids. Definitely recommend.

A group of guys retreated together at this beautiful property and we so enjoyed our stay. Even with rainy weather, there was so much to do in and around the cabin that you didn't feel like you were missing out! The beds were plenty and comfortable, while the amenities were top notch. The communication with the staff was timely and always helpful! Would book this place again in the future!
