We had a lovely time staying at the house. Everything was as described and very clean. It was an easy walk to the beach and short drives to other beaches, restaurants, etc. We hope to be back!

The layout was perfect for us; adults on main floor and teens downstairs. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, plates, glasses and cookware. When there was an issue the host was quick to respond.

My family and I had a wonderful week here, plenty of space and everything in the house seemed new. The neighborhood is great for walking and you’re close to the beach as well. A great spot we’ll consider staying at again!

We love staying at this location! There’s plenty of room for all of us and Gregg is wonderful to deal with. We enjoyed hanging out on the deck in the eve and did use the fire pit one night. Beaches are gorgeous. Took walks everyday around all of the other neighborhoods.

The home was very accommodating for the 10 of us. The beach was within walking distance which is a big plus.

We had a great week staying in the house at 11 Melville Lane. There were 6 children (10 and under) along with 7 adults at one point and there was plenty of room for everyone. All the comforts of home were there including comfortable beds. Having two bathrooms and two living areas with two refrigerators really helped. Using the cut-through, the walk to the beach was doable for everyone, although we did have the beach gear dropped off by car. The amount of chairs (12 in all), boogie boards, umbrellas, beach cooler and beach buggy really helped and were very good quality. It was also nice having "starter" paper goods, cleaning supplies and soaps so we didn't have to rush out and buy all of that right away.
The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 on cleanliness was the floors were quite sandy when we arrived but everything else was very clean so I think the cleaners my have just forgotten.
We would highly recommend this house and location to other families!

This rental checks all boxes as well as more. Location was great. Property in excellent shape. Beach equipment was first class, no dollar tree chairs. Thank you, I will certainly recommend this rental.

Our family enjoyed a great week-long rental in August 2022 and were very pleased with the home. It was very well-maintained, updated, clean, and comfortable. The beach items (chairs, umbrella, etc.) in the shed were an added plus. Gregg was accessible and helpful throughout the process.

We loved our weeks stay so much and wished we’d booked for longer! Great, big spacious home! Plenty of parking and an easy walk for most of us. Parking is $12/day and it’s def one of our favorite beaches. Linens and bath towels were included. Enjoyed the fire pit at night. Already dreaming of next Summer! Thanks Gregg!

House was clean and spacious enough for two families. 3 bedrooms on each floor and two family rooms. Great location, minutes from the beach. Would stay again

The house has been recently updated and was very clean. The kitchen and shed were VERY well stocked. The deck & outdoor table/chairs were great for eating meals & relaxing with some drinks. Nice back yard for games, fire pit, etc. 2 Driveways fit 8-10 cars , perfect for day visitors. Linens, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, boogie boards, and corn hole were among the provided amenities we appreciated. Downstairs fridge kept beverages nice and COLD. A half bath would be helpful with a 6 bedroom house but we managed just fine. Gregg was easy to communicate with and very responsive.

Great Stay!
House was perfect for our college reunion and slept all 12 girls comfortably. Gregg was extremely responsive and even dropped off a brand new Weber grill when we had issues with the one at the house. Kitchen was well stocked and included beach gear and games was a huge plus. Thank you for a great stay!

Perfect Family Reunion
Although hurricane Henri delayed our arrival, we enjoyed a perfect rest of the week. The house is spacious, sunny, well located in a quiet neighborhood, with a reasonably short walk to the beach. We loved the open floor plan for the kitchen, dining and living space. Plenty of space for 8 adults and 3 toddlers.
Gregg was amazing in his response to questions pre arrival as well as anything that came up during our stay. He went above and beyond in offering alternative accommodations when we arrived to no power after the hurricane, and even brought us lobsters to make up for it. Extremely thoughtful.

What a lovely trip!
We had a lovely trip to this home. The property was spotless and had everything we needed. The multiple bedrooms and living areas afforded us space for individuals who needed to catch up on work via wifi. We had some not great weather and were very thankful for all the space to be able to spread out. Our “20 Somethings” enjoyed the local area venues. This property would serve families with children of all ages well. It would also be ideal for sharing between two families with 3 bedrooms on each floor with a bathroom and living space . We enjoyed the beach on nice days and went into Newport on a cloudy day. Movie time at home during some rainy times was great. Would rent again!

Nice and spacious house
House was nice and spacious. Lots of space! Nice neighborhood. Cooler with wheels, 6 beach chairs, and a beach cart to wheel it all to the beach were provided as very nice extras! I think the listing said a beach “stroller”. Just for more info: it’s more of a caddy/buggy, for toting chairs and gear. It was an absolutely wonderful cart to have to use! It also easily folded up for fitting in car trunk if you drive to the beach. For folks with small kiddos, so that you can pack appropriately, it’s probably important to note that it’s not the type of “stroller” for children to ride in. The WiFi was strong enough throughout the entire home to simultaneously use the smart TVs in multiple rooms, and use a couple of Roku sticks that we brought with us, to stream what we wanted to watch on TV. Glad we knew ahead of time that there would not be cable TV, so we could be prepared with what we needed for streaming (for those rainy days and Stanley Cup Playoff game days). We never found the cut-through to walk to the beach, but we honestly never tried. We had young children in tow, so decided it would be easier to drive them with their toys and etc.

Cycling Adventure
This was a cycling/exercise trip, the house was centrally located to a lot of beaches and scenic views. We plotted our rides, typically in the morning when traffic was lite, making big 15-20 mile loops with amazing ocean air breezes. We found some great local bars and food spots in Galilee and across from Narragansett Beach during our rides that we would visit later in the day. Warm Winds is a great surf shop with everything you need. There was a Farmers Market out front of Fisherman's Camp Ground, all local farmers with same day fresh produce we loaded bags on our bikes as it was only about 1.5 miles away from the house. Great workouts, great stay looking forward to the next one. Thanks Gregg and Lisa

Nice house with all the basics
All in all it was a nice home. The couch was broken and the umbrella broke but Gregg came quickly with a replacement. In hindsight, I wish we would have chosen a location with more bathrooms; 2 wasn’t enough for 12 people .. and the fridge really needs an ice maker! Says it’s a quick walk to the beach but with chairs, umbrellas and coolers I’d recommend driving.
