The staff were all helpful and courteous - Ami, Awa, Fatima and the Gambian family whose husband/father helped lay the foundation made me feel welcomed. The location was central to getting all I needed. The property was kept immaculate. Easy to locate good signage.
During power cuts the generator provided lighting, not the fan. The room was hot and filled with mosquitoes, (when the fan worked) it served no purpose. No Soap To Wash Hands After Toilet Use (even after asking). The fan worked intermittently. €1 per day for internet (even if you’re checking out) the day rate will be charged. Extra charge for hot water. The mosquito net doesn’t go to the floor. The German couple wasn’t friendly or welcoming (maybe for those who looked like them).

The facilities and friendliness of Claudia and Joe, managers of the place

I stayed for thirteen days in Sukuta camping and lodge, and i found the stay very satisfying in most ways !
The owners - a german couple -as well as the staff was all very nice, social, helpful and friendly !
The entire place was very clean everywhere and all the time.
The security level seems to me very high, and I felt perfectly safe all the time !
Good comfort, and service to a small amount of money !
If you want to laze by the pool, with colourfull umbrella drinks being served by servile waiters saying "Yes sir, no sir, thank you sir" and "as you wish sir" this is hardly the place.
But if you're on a budget trip, and wants to enjoy real life, and normal people during the journy, I do highly recomens Sukuta camping and lodge !

Very nice and quiet place with really good people. Good for backpackers and travelers that want to see the country and not the 4 star hotel on the beach.
I had a really good stay.

Clean
No hot water shower
No wifi 1€ per day 10am to 10pm only.
Not even a cup of hot water to drink without pay
They dispute my reservation and gave me a different room because Booking.com gave unauthorized discount they said.
Terrible everything is all about the money.

Excellent facilities with a really warm welcome. Made to feel at home and the breakfast was superb.

We loved every minute of our stay here (originally booked for two nights, but returned again to end our holiday here , great value for money ). We stayed in a double room with private bathroom, it was spacious, very clean and very comfortable. The surroundings are beautiful, very leafy and green , and a very relaxing, laid back atmosphere . There are several showers , sinks and WCs around the site for people who choose the accommodation with shared bathroom facilities. Breakfast is available, ( eggs , bread , cheese, jams , juice , tea and coffee) and is served in the outside dining area , we had breakfast every day of our stay , thank you Amie ( apologies if spelling is wrong) .Great hosting from Claudia , Joe and the team, thank you all for making our stay an enjoyable experience.

The place is clean and the staff are nice except for the proprietor Claudia.
Claudia was surly and bossy. The room I was in has a thatched ceiling with some mildew, and almost every day Claudia was bothering me about not having dirty clothes in my room. Well, where else am I supposed to store them before laundering? AND on top of that, there is NO ACCESS TO USE A WASHING MACHINE as stated in the listing. You will be required to pay someone to do your laundry or you will be expected to hand wash and dry on the line every day including your towels.
Second thing, THERE IS NO RESTAURANT on the premises as stated in the listing. You supposedly can pre order food to be prepared, but that's way different than having a restaurant you can walk into and order at will. Also, you can buy bottles water and drinks but you must do so before 5pm if you plan on being thirsty later.
Lastly, the proprietor is not very nice to her staff, is rude, and WILL GOSSIP ABOUT YOU in German to other guests if she thinks you don't understand.
