The location and condition of this property is great.
However, the bed is smaller than listed.
Also- In the process of resolving an accidental lockout, communication with the property manager was very uncomfortable.

Totally enjoyed this unit. Very Clean and conveniently located less than a block from the beach. Quiet and really liked that we had a dedicated parking space. Overall this was a very nice place!

We have been to Avila many times before and had enjoyed our stay once again. The apt was in a great location. We biked all around town and spent time at the beach. The kitchen was fully equipped which we appreciated and the bed was comfy. Check in and out were easy. Would def book this property again!

We parked once and walked everywhere else!

My family and I enjoyed staying in this condo as it was only 1 block off the beach and close walking distance to shops and restaurants! The unit was clean and comfortable. The only negative is that the walls are very thin and we could hear people upstairs into the early evening and again early in the morning. Also we were visiting during a heat wave and there was no AC (understandable), but we felt uncomfortable opening the main windows at night because they are right off the street which made for warm sleeping conditions. Despite these issues we had an excellent time and would recommend this property for its close access to the beach and cleanliness!

Love this spot! Open the windows at night and you will hear the ocean waves cracking against the shoreline. There’s something about the ocean that makes you feel relaxed and refreshed 🌊

We had a good stay in Avila beach at the property. The problems didn’t come until after. We were told we would get details and a contract the week before our stay. The email did not come through till the day after returning home. So when checking out we were not aware of any checkout procedures. We did not find any information in the unit as well. We are a very clean and responsible family. About a week after our stay I got an email on the refund of our deposit and it wasn’t the full amount. Just a receipt with no explanation or communication. When I called the rental company they were very deflecting and wouldn’t take responsibility for the lack of communication or contract standards. They told me they charged me for not dumping the trash and housekeeping found “vomit” in the bathroom. There definitely was not any vomit of any kind from me and my family left in the unit! I’m not sure how they can charge for standards in a contract that wasn’t even provided until after our stay, nor was posted anywhere in the unit. There seemed to be bad communication between Vrbo, the property company, and the actual property housekeeping. The representative over the phone was disrespectful, rude, and only would find ways to blame the customer. Overall, great stay till a situation came up with the property company that required responsible communication.

We booked this property for a week and had a great experience. I worked from the property and enjoyed walks to the beach and the local coffee shops and small town feel. Property was well equipped, clean and organized. We will be back! Appreciated the access to laundry so close to our apartment (on site).

The location was amazing! Just a very short walk to downtown Avila. Upon arrival, the parking lot is very small and parking my truck was a bit tricky. I was happy there was a spot provided because Avila has scarce parking. I had an issue with the management sending me the wrong code to the door, but that was quickly resolved with a hasty return call. Positive:- Apartment is clean with nice furniture.- Kitchen is armed with everything you would need.- Bathroom is clean with plenty of towels.Negative:- You can hear people talking in the next apartment over through a door that attaches the two.- You can hear every step somebody takes in the apartment above you.- No A/C only heat, only frustrating because outside of the apartment can get very loud with cars and people walking by the windows.We enjoyed our 4 night stay here, but sleeping was an issue when noisy neighbors were upstairs. We would stay again, but maybe get an upstairs unit for some peace. Management handled all issues very well and were a pleasure to work with.

The condo could have been cleaner. When we walked in the floors where a little crunchy but it is the beach so getting all the sand may not be possible. The location was excellent. Everything in Avila is within walking distance and the condo is just a short block to the beach. Have on site parking is a huge plus!!! On the down side, the bed in the bedroom is only a double. There is plenty of room to put a queen bed in the bedroom. Also, 4 towels for 2 people for 7 days is not really enough. There is a washer and dryer but a few extra towels wouldn't hurt. There could also be a little more insulation in the ceiling between the upstairs condo. Overall it was a good property and we enjoyed our stay very much.
