Pool and beach access was awesome! Balcony was within listening distance of ocean
4.0
The room was clean and overlooked the pool. We could see the ocean from the balcony. The area wasn’t crowded and was a very short walk from the pool to the beach. My only negative about the condo was the uncomfortable twin mattresses in the second bedroom. They were extremely hard, and I woke each morning with my back hurting.
4.0
With the exception of a few maintenance issues, a nice property with a beautiful view of pool and beach. Would stay here again.

The beach was clean and not very crowded. Shipwatch needs to reconfigure some of their parking spaces to allow for people to get to the beach without navigating between a column and parked car that completely blocks the only stepless access. Our unit had tiles missing from the kitchen counter and exposed moldy wood. When reported to Vacasa they blamed it on the previous guest. This was clearly a long term problem.
5.0
Was a nice property in a gated community. Short walk to beach and large swimming pool. Quiet area. Property was clean and well taken care of.

This is our second stay in this unit. Shipwatch is a great location (the reason for the three stars) but this unit is in desperate need of a few upgrades. Kitchen counter was broken off over dishwasher, couch needs replaced, some rust on the bathroom fixtures, to name a few.

From the time we arrived until the day we left, the area was perfect. The community was beautiful and felt very safe. Walking in the mornings was very relaxing and refreshing!
The room location couldn’t be beat, we were even surprised by the view of the beach from the balcony. The condo was well kept, clean, and the bed slept well. No noise noticed from the neighbors; every now and again, you could hear water being ran or flushed from the upstairs but that wasn’t bad at all.
The parking spaces underneath the building are very small are a little tricky to get into. Larger vehicles may struggle getting in and out when it’s crowded (but there are spaces around the building too).Very kid friendly. Easy walk to the beach, and they even had beach chairs and sand toys to use… I’ll definitely be back as soon as I can!

This was a perfect place to rest and relax! Easy beach and pool access. Great location for an easy drive into Charleston for excursions. We enjoyed beach walks, sunset dinners with
dolphins, tour of Fort Sumter, Schooner Pride day sail, Palmetto Carriage ride of the city, a night cheering on the RiverDogs baseball team and many wonderful places for happy hour/dinner.

During our stay we needed to reach out to Guest Service. Their responsiveness was amazing and very much appreciated.

Nice, basic unit looking out over the water. It was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. Vacasa is completely automated and does not respond to small requests. Luckily we did not have anything major that we needed, just a few small broken items like lightbulbs, batteries and the toaster.

The location is great and everything worked perfectly. The only drawback was the master bed was uncomfortable and lopsided; made for restless nights.

Vacasa did a great job, the unit had problems.

Nice furnished, clean beachfront condo!

We love this area & this little condo. It was so clean, cozy & close to the beach. We will definitely be back!

The condo and the location were great, the only issue I had was that the pool tiles were very dirty, that was pretty off-putting as we are big pool people, and it made me wonder about the overall cleanliness of the pool. Everything else was lovely.

We always enjoy the beach at Wild Dunes but had a major sewage smell in the master bath. Unable to use shower and all had to use the remaining bathroom. Had to use lots of spray and keep the doors shut. Also a gnat problem probably due to the sewage smell. The unit was not properly cleaned and had to purchase coffee maker and cleaning supplies. Unit should not be rented until sewage problems resolved.

Love this place, felt it was as as advertised. It was clean when we arrived. We love staying in the gated community of Wild Dunes so this was perfect for my family. The only con that we found was the shower in the master bedroom was raised but the shower head was not. My husband had to slightly bend to get under the shower head, but that was minor.

The property is in a gated community, which decreasd beach traffic and made our days in the sun more enjoyable. The accommodations were spacious enough for my family and everything we needed was there. Great balcony view and great local restaurants, too.

We had no hot water the entire stay tried multiple times to get help with it

This condo was on the second floor in a decent sized building. The unit had all the amenities needed except for enough toilet paper for 5 nights. It was a two bath condo and only one roll of tp in each. I contacted the manager and they said that is all we are supplied even though the contract says two rolls in each bathroom. They never brought more. The water pressure in one of the bathrooms was so low that you couldn’t wash your face or brush teeth. We used the kitchen sink instead. Should be an easy fix to get that working better. The bathroom was not very clean. Hair and other things in the floor. The floor in the main part of the condo was dirty and sticky. The location was great being close to the beach and pool. It was a bit deceiving that you couldn’t access the main pool at wild dunes without renting through them directly. We rented bikes and that was lovely to ride around the neighborhood every morning.

My daughter and best friend and myself all booked a 3 night stay at Shipwatch C-116, we loved the location and the pictures looked great, clean, put together. We arrived not knowing it was in a gated community. We had no idea where to go or what to do and that was just the start. When we arrived in our Vacasa home away from home there was dried blood on the comforters and pillow cases, it was not clean, or anything like the pictures. When we went to Vacasa to report these things they said they would send housekeeping and change all the sheets and comforters for us. Instead we were given a garbage bag full of more sheets, not including anything we asked for. There were no beach towels or chairs or anything for the beach/pool. Everything was very cheap and not well kept or taken care of at all. The only good thing I have to say is the location was great. I do not suggest this specific condo.

The property as just as advertised. A view of the ocean and the pool, spacious, clean, well equipped (see below), quiet after 10 as requested, comfortable. We specifically wanted a unit with a washer and dryer, and that was present and great. The only issue was the ironing board that had given up the ghost. The local Vacasa staff had a replacement (brand new) in less than a day. Without knowing the area, we chose a location that turned out to be several miles from anything when it was time to sight-see. That's on us as the listing was very sure to have a map to know where the property was. I would recommend both Vrbo and Vacasa for a easy and excellant experience.

All in all, this was a nice place to stay. Personally, I like a little more hand holding through the process. For instance, more details on exactly where to park (in the open spaces or below the unit?), where was our unit (we ended up finding it easily, but just didn't know until we walked around), etc. Our screen door and curtain rod pull fell off; however, we didn't get a response about fixing it. I didn't press the matter as we ended up leaving early due to Hurricane Ian coming our way. Lastly, the condo was very clean; however, it really smelled like bleach. This was not good for me as I am sensitive to bleach. I would advise the owners to either rinse and air out really well or find another cleaning solution that is less potent to sensitive renters like me. Like I said early on, this place was very nice. Just a few minor things that, if did not happen, could've given it a five star review. If I wasn't so reactive to bleach, I would rent here again. Great location and amenities!

The location was perfect

We had recently stayed at another home through vacasa and saw a tons of difference between the two stay. The house in isle of palms lacked basic items in the house . Additionally we noticed that if we were to move the table in the living room to the side, you will find tons of littering that was not vacuumed and wait there was no vacuum in the house . Pretty disappointed with the basic needs in this home. Would recommend the owner to not cheap out on basic needs and cleanliness.

My husband and I and 2 small children had a great time. Close to the beach and enough room to spread out. Clean and relaxing.

The unit was basically good.

Beautiful condo! Awesome view of pool, palm trees and ocean!

The location was absolutely beautiful. Loved the nearby shopping and restaurants. We were steps from the beach. The pool was great. The Condo needed to be cleaned. better. There were dirty pans in the kitchen cabinet and the shower had little flying bugs. The main
bathroom scrubber was so nasty. Not sure if the bed sheets and cover were washed. The towels were very clean .

Great location, easy access to the beach, easy access to the room. Though a private community, we had no problems with Allied Universal security( they also protect our HOA here in Aiken). Highly recommend.

Wonderful spot!
The property was extremely clean and came as advertised. The beach was fantastic and within a short distance walk. The pool was wonderful. Overall it was a wonderful family vacation.

Excellent place
Found the property to be clean and new fixtures. Past reviews said it was dated and needed updated. Seems to have been done. Mattresses could be updated, but otherwise was nice.

Quiet, Beach Access
Everything was perfect, location, quiet area, beach access. Minor things: master king mattress had indents, strong fabreese type of smell in living room.

Great location but property needs to be deep cleaned
Great location, easy communication and felt very safe on vacation. The only down side was how unclean the property was. My small child’s feet were black from dirt/grime from walking around the unit.

Family vacation
We booked this property for our family spring break vacation based on the beach location and pool access. When we arrived, there was a sign on the elevator that the pool would be closed for maintenance the entire time we were there.
The toilet in the master bathroom was not seated properly (reported on a review in February), the vent in the master bathroom did not work and one of the bedspreads in the guest bedroom was ripped and stained.
I reported the maintenance items to the Vacasa office the next day and a maintenance person arrived. He shimmed the toilet and fixed the vent fan. The toilet leaked on the floor the rest of the week and although the fan technically worked, it did not vent anywhere and debris fell out onto the toilet whenever it was used.
Overall, the location and beach are beautiful. Our family found many beautiful shells throughout the trip and the property is family friendly.

Great IOP
First time visit to IOP. The Villa had a beautiful view of pool and you could walk in 2 minutes to the ocean. No
markets within walking distance but a short 4 minute drive takes you to shops and a 10 minute drive to the market! Lots of walking trails . Very quiet residence. Will definitely be back

Great mattress in the master slept great
Great place and location. Master toilet needs to be stabilized

Nice off-season stay.
Spent two nights here in December. Very nice and quiet. Easy stroll over to the beach. Nice to have a king sized bed. Would help if the buildings were marked better, one evening we parked and walked into the wrong one before realizing our error.
