Excellent Hosts and property

Great location. The property is excellent and very good value for money. The Hosts could not do enough to ensue our stay was great. When we arrived there was snow on the ground the host had cleared the drive to allow us to get in. The next day more snow had fallen and the hosts helped push the car to get to the lane.

A rural retreat on the edge of Chesterfield

Large apartment for the two of us, all on one level once you've tackled the stairs outside. Lovely and warm, well appointed.

The turn off the main road is a bit hidden at night when the petrol station turns its lights off - need to be alert!!

Very comfortable apartment and a very enjoyable stay.

This apartment is very comfortable, with beautiful views of the neighbouring countryside. It was very clean and well resourced. The bed was very comfortable and the hot shower was powerful. We very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Kneese Loft to others.

A minor issue with the tv controls reported but it did not spoil our stay.

It couldn't have been better for us.

Easy to find and check-in. Parking was secure and easy. It was in a good location just outside Chesterfield, handy for a birthday party in Baslow. The accommodation was spacious, warm and very comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked and we were able to prepare meals there. I liked that we were provided with a bottle of milk, tea and coffee and a packet of biscuits. Plenty of information was provided about local services. We would definitely return if we are in the area again.

The location was great. A good base for all local attractions. The property was very clean with modern decor. Lovely views across countryside. Hosts were very friendly and Richard gave us good tips on where to go.

Instructions for the TV and dvd player would have been useful.

Delightful, well designed and equipped cottage with spectacular views

Property was ideal for our needs - Rooms were spacious; cottage well equipped and good location for visiting The Peak District

Some guests may not like the out of town location but it was perfect for us

Everything. Comfortable bed and lounge seating. Warm, cosy, comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Fabulous views of surrounding countryside. Spacious. Light and airy. Restful. Convenient to Chesterfield. Highly recommended.

Tremendous value in a stunning location

They have done a beautiful job on the conversion, lots of space, very private one of the best stays this year and we do about 100 nights a year away

Lovely Accomodation

The accomodation is set upon a triple garage set aside from the landlady's residence. Access via a flight of steps. It is a fabulous apartment. Plenty of natural light, airy, spacious and fresh. All modern conveniences available in the apartment. Fantastic views from all the rooms. Biscuits, tea, milk, sugar were set out for our arrival. Location is near to A619 and is very quiet and peaceful. Ideal spot to either chill out or use as a base to venture out to the Peak District.

Modern, fresh, comfortable and quiet. Host was very welcoming and the location was good for us too.

Had to remind ourselves of the dormer windows in the bedroom ! Just a minor point but liquid soap in the bathroom would have been appreciated (rather than hand gel).

Beautiful views over surrounding countryside

I had been expecting toiletries, as is the normal here and on the continent, but unfortunately there was nothing. Had to make a trip to a supermarket a mile or so away (just driven 350 miles,so a little tired) to purchase hand soap, shower gel and hair shampoo! I have learned my lesson! and will always travel with essential items in the future!!

Was a really lovely place clean, spacious for the two of us with everything we needed for a lovely mini holiday. Area is great as you are close to town and attractions but also have the quiet countryside right outside the windows it was a fantastic view to wake up to.

There wasn't anything we didn't like in all honesty.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this well-kitted out, spacious and comfy apartment with it's gorgeous countryside view from the bedroom window. Walks available from the door, and many others in the area. Best with own transport (free parking available).

Very enjoyable lovely accommodation very well kept.

The accommodation was just as described very clean, well equipped and comfortable. , everything you could need was there. the location was ideally placed to tour around Derbyshire. A nice touch was Tea, Coffee, sugar and milk there on arrival.

Excellent and quiet location, apartment very nice and cozy, everything tidy and spotless clean, all necessary facilities/equipment available and in perfect condition, very comfortable bed.
