We loved the hospital of the Bedouin people. The atmosphere was amazing. We had food from the underground way of cooking. The camp has amazing sweeping views of Wadi Rum. Ahmad organized camel rides for us that offered us quiet and wonderful views. The view at night is amazing and one can see the constellations. Our big highlight was the “Sleeping under the stars” where we slept in a cave on our first night and it was one of the best experiences ever. In our last night, we even had riddles around the fire with the Bedouins. I will certainly be returning to Wadi Rum Secret Camp. I have only wonderful things to say about this place.

This is a great place! Definitely recommend to everyone! You need to spend a night in the desert, it is unforgettable!
We are grateful to our guide Ahmed, who met us on time (we warned the day before about the arrival time and the taxi driver also called Ahmed). Since we booked a jeep excursion, immediately after the meeting we began our acquaintance with the desert and its inhabitants. Ahmed drove us to key points, provided basic information, took photos, and provided positive mood for full day. We met the sunset, Ahmed made for us a very tasty tea. The sun began to set down and we went to the camp.
Everyone gathered around the fire in the main tent and drank tea and talked. Then we had a wonderful dinner and the camp workers danced and sang and we along with them, it was fun. At night we watched the stars in the sky). Since it was January, we slept under two blankets because it was not warm. The camp has good bathroom and hot water.
In the morning we had a nice breakfast and then Ahmed took us to the bus he had reserved for us the day before.
Thank you Ahmed and everyone at Wadi Ram Camp, we wish you success!!!
We were lucky to be here, no doubt!

The whole time with the family was one of the best experiance we had in Jordan. Very freiendly, helpful, great dinner and breakfast. We recommend whole day jeep tour (with Ahmed), he cooked delicius lunch in the middle of desert.
Nights are cold, but in the tents there are thick blanket in bed linen.

Amazing place to stay in, recommend full day tour with delicious lunch.
Guides were amazing, they showed us all main points in desert, prepared bedouin dinner and breakfast.
The night was cold but we had enough of blankets.

It was fantastic.Price of tent around 2£ is not realistic, actually we did not paid it.You take packaging which incl jeep ride 4hours,walk,snowbording,tea in the desort, then you arrive to camping where you get delisious dinner from 6/7 dishies, fire inside of big tent, lot of music, drinks, even dances, kids are playing, who want smoke shisha, there is elect to charge phone, then in morning you can get breakfest but not bread and jam,but very nice breakfest from 4 5 dishes. Then guide bring you back to village.Car you left ar parking or any free space, there is no crime at all.Even in desort owner build very clean toilet, shower european type with water.Amazing
January is the coldest month and temp drop to 3 * at night,it was cold in our tent.

It is amazing what owners offer for the price. The dinner was excellent, everyone is friendly and quick to respond to reservation and organize the jeep tour in the desert. We would be happy to return again.

We had a wonderful full, fun and exciting day in the desert with lunch cooked freshly over a fire and ending with sunset from a beautiful rock in a secluded area, and a delicious dinner in camp. Ahmed then took us to a quiet, wind sheltered place to sleep under the stars. Host Ahmed was considerate, fun and always right on top of things when we had needs or wishes. Our daughters comment: "This was the best day of my life!"

It was a great experience, the tour with Ahmed was amazing and the camp was great too. It is a great chance to have a very unique experience and sleep on the desert inside the Wadi Rum reserve. The camp is not close to other camps and during the night is possible to see a lot of stars.

They offered us an excellent traditional dinner of lamb and vegetables roasted in sand. The camp was clean, well cared for and in an excellent location. The full day sunset and sunrise tour was wonderful. And at night they delighted us with traditional music and told us how the life of the Bedouins developed before and now. The guide and the camp staff are very nice.

Ahmed's camp is a real desert gem: excellent location, comfortable tents with cosy beds, clean toilets and showers.
We enjoyed the delicious breakfast and dinner, as well as nice talks by the fire under the night sky, with lots of tea. :)
Ahmed and other members of his family are exceptionally great hosts: funny, polite, caring and trustworthy.
We booked a full day jeep tour and Ahmed's uncle was our guide. He was very caring and witty, showed us the highlights of the majestic Wadi Rum, made an excellent lunch by the fire and picked the perfect location for the sunset.
We only regret that we didn't have more days to enjoy the marvelous desert and the beautiful camp.

Ahmed picked me up at the visitor center and we just did an exciting tour through the desert by jeep, to a spring, ancient nabatean inscriptions and rock formations. Dinner was great with sand baked veggies and chicken in typical beduin style. In the evening we drove to a rock under which we slept under the stars. Impressive the silence, the desert,
the fire. Highly Recommended!
Everything was fine. It's an authentical experience.

Ahmad is an excellent attentive host and guide and Ra'ad was also a fantastic guide. Lovely relatively small camp and 2 great days and nights.
We spent one night in a double room and one night we slept out under the stars in our tent which we travel with. Trip to Burdha bridge was a highlight (scrambling required).

Great camp taking you back to nature. Very clean with comfortable beds in the tents. It's a basic camp with no WiFi allowing you to reconnect with yourself and nature.
The brothers are very entertaining and funny making sure all the guests were having a good time.
I had a tour with Ahmed who took me to meet his family before taking me to some of the sites to climb and/or walk through and enjoy on my own. I then spent one night under the stars by a fire. Breakfast and especially dinner was very good and plentiful.
Great camp and great atmosphere. I'd definitely stay again if I were to return.

Lovely people, waiting us at the parking place in the village, they did everything to make us feel comfortable. We enjoyed the jeep tour in the desert, the lunch was beyond expectations.

You can stay at any camp in Wadi Rum, but the hospitality we received by the Bedouins at this camp was incredible. Communication was easy and seamless and Ahmed messaged me a couple of days before to arrange a time and place for a pick up from the village to the campsite. We thoroughly recommend Ahmed as a guide. We did a jeep tour for a full day and he made the most incredible lunch, Bedouin style. Downtime in the camp itself is very good and sociable, where you can mix with other campers/tourists and the other Bedouin tour guides, and the whole set up is an experience you cannot forget. 10/10 will go back to this camp.
Absolutely nothing. It was very cold one of the nights but the Bedouins were incredibly accommodating with extra blankets and warm teas.

I am a budget traveler. The facilities were amazing, also if you consider that this is located in the desert. Especially the restroom offered much more than I expected (e.g. toilet paper) and it was very clean as well.
Food was amazing!!!
Our guide Ahmed was very chilled and nice to be around. He also said that he would have made sure that there is no smoking going on in the common area if I would have asked him.
There are also sockets available in the tent and a lamp.
It was quite common to smoke in the common area (tent), but I faced that situation all over Jordan.

I have been in wadi rum twice(2018 and 2021)
This camp was perfect for the following reasons:
1) Very big tents and very clean bathrooms(and hot water that the other camp in 2018 didnt have)
2) Hospitality by the owner of the camp(Mohamed) was perfect. We speak about to many things and live this experience as a locals. I understand it's not only about the place, but it is about the experience. These guys making the experience of wadi rum very special.
3) Jeep tour was perfect because our guide(salam) was everywhere with us and he want to explain everything about wadi rum.
4) Traditional Bedhouin food(BBQ from the ground) in the camp was very delicious
5) At night we have dance with our bedhouin friends in the big tent in front of a very warm fireplace
Everything was perfect and as a person who travel too much I recommend this camp not only for the facilities but also for the GREAT and UNIQUE EXPERIENCE you will live.

It was an unforgettable experience!
Ahmed is the best guide. He is very kind and helpful, friendly, funny and explained a lot.
He offered us everything that could help us.
The jeep tour was amazing. Ahmed took us around all of the best sites.
The camp location is so good... in the middle of the canyon! Tents are spacious, clean and much more comfy. There was a plug to charge our phones.
We loved this wonderful place with amazing view. Far from noise and any disturbance.
We spend the evening with ahemed and his brother at the fireplace. They tell stories about the desert life while we can enjoy a tea. The food is delicious and cooked in the traditional Bedouin way and and breakfast was fine as well.
Do not miss it when you are staying here!

Ahmed was very helpful and he wanted us to feel like home. Basic but nice breakfast was included in the price and traditional Beduin buffet is available at extra fee. At night at the fireplace, Ahmed and his brothers tell amazing stories about the desert life while you can enjoy a tea. Sky at night is just breathtaking!!! Tents are spacious and much more comfy than one would expect from a tent in a camp in the middle of nowhere. There are normal toilets and showers, however we did not have hot water. Overall, our stay was amazing and we took a desert tour with Ahmed which was also amazing. Do not miss it when you are staying here!

눀 – First and foremost, , Ahmed and their brothers are all very kind and extremely helpful! They made us all feel very welcome and they always adhered to our requests when they could. I planned to stay for one night but added an extra night on since I loved the place so much. Furthermore, the location and scenery can’t get any better since you’re in the middle of the canyon! I was able to wake up early for an amazing view of the sun rise just a few hundred meters away, same for the sunset. It was also cool to spend some time with the other guests in the evening, to share a meal and talk around the fire. We evened played uno together one night.
With two fellow travelers we shared the full day jeep tour and Ahmed took us around all of the best sites. We had fun and he played our music while he drove his jeep and even took pictures for us on the big rock bridge.
