Loved the location. It was close enough to walk to most things but away from the noise.
The pool was not great. It was not clean. There was plastic bags floating in the pool? The pool was just a wading pool (waist deep)- as they noted in their description.

The location was great.
The advertised sofa bed was nonsleepable. Bars across bed and horrible mattress. The wall of window shades to courtyard were torn up and left gaps to see in and out. They need to do some general upkeep and upgrade the sofa/not advertise it as sleeps 3-4.

Location wasn’t terrible.
Very dated. Parking not guaranteed and staff wasn’t very helpful about where else to park. The water gets scalding hot! And the toilet seat kept coming off. Springs poking you in bed.

Friendly staff, neat older building, unique design, comfy beds, clean, walking distance to the street car station and many shops.

Situation géographique par rapport à la ville. Ambiance chaleureuse avec la cour intérieure. Suite très spacieuse, confortable et bien équipée.
Voie ferrée à proximité avec klaxon des trains même la nuit.

Really beautiful and charming historic building, with well-appointed, clean and comfortable suites! Awesome staff who went above and beyond, AND the hotel is walking distance to the French Quarter and across the street from the trolley station for experiences further away.
Parking could be a little tricky for a spatially-challenged driver like me, but luckily I didn’t need to drive much at all. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Very convenient to visit the French Quarter of NOLA, and to board to a paddle wheeler on the Mississippi river.
May be more than 1 blanket for the sofa-bed.

Great location!!! Less than 30 min walk go everything and anything you would want to do in down town new orleans!! We went mardi gras weekend for one night. They were so accommodating. Don't get me started about our room, more like an apartment it had 2 bedrooms with a queen in each and in the living area the sofa folded out into a queen as well. It had a kitchenette and 3 doors going out to the balcony from our room !! Will definitely be returning during other times of the year!!!
I mean honestly I have nothing bad go say about this place. If anything it would be that check in is a 4pm, but I asked for a 3pm check in and they approved. Got checked in and up into the room and it wasn't clean yet. So we had to wait out on the balcony for housekeeping

The noise from the train. But it’s manageable. It’s part of the Louisiana vibe.

Great location in prime area of city, comfy beds and nice little room.
I was given a spot in the parking garage which I had previously read was unable to reserve prior to arrival. This was great I thought, able to park the car in the garage next to the property, I was out all day and partied with the parade and arrived back to the hotel around 10:00pm. At 10:30pm the phone rang at the front desk stating I had to move my car from the garage, I had been drinking all day but this didn't make a difference to the woman at the front desk and I was forced downstairs. There was a couple that arrived that owned a share in the hotel who got "priority" over my booking so I was forced out. After a long conversation she let me leave the car in the garage awkwardly parked (not in a parking bay) and I agreed if someone couldn't get out in the night I would move again. As you expect I didn't sleep much expecting a call anytime during the night to move the car, luckily I managed to 07:30 where I got up and moved the vehicle out to the front of the hotel where a space had appeared in their loading bay. Thankfully I was only staying the one night so I did not have to go hunting for a new garage.
Although the location was great, I would not return to this hotel because of this unpleasant experience.

Much better than anticipated. It was a little dated, but for the value and location it was more than perfect. The parking garage was the cherry on top. We loved everything about this Hotel and will definitely be staying here on all future trips to New Orleans.
We were there 3 nights and honestly, nothing could have been better. The rooms were a little dated, but for the price and the location of the hotel it was still very much worth every penny we spent.

The staff was helpful and courteous. We were able to park securely for free and do laundry ($2 per load.) The location was exceptional at the edge of the French Quarter and Marigny areas. Quiet and close to everything. Hotel was safe as well.
The room temp was a bit hard to control and noisy. We ran out of hot water. All things considered, the benefits outweigh the challenges at this hotel. Great experience.

Ms. Turner at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The room was like a little apartment. I bought tea and was able to drink all the hot tea I wanted. I also didn't have to worry about cutlery arriving with my take-out because there was silverware.
It sounded like there was construction going on next door during the day, and it was overwhelming.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The location is great
We saw rats the first day we arrived on the second floor. Our room was next to the elevator and we could hear the elevator beeping all night.

Liked the location, close to the streetcars, restaurants, French Market, and of course Cafe du Monde !! And the rate was a GREAT DEAL !!
My big bath tub with jets, JETS DIDN’T WORK !!

I loved that our suite had two bedrooms and that the hotel is so beautiful and vintage.
Nothing really.

Both the wife and I thought it was a charming hotel. We really enjoyed being close enough to the French Quarter to easily walk there but not to close that you got drowned out by party goers. Staff was super helpful!
Lol....the elevator is slow as molasses but that's the only thing I can think of.

a little out dated

Nothing. Other than the fact it it was two blocks from the french market, on a very sketchy street with endless stream of homeless/drunk people.
The cleanliness, the bedsheets, the matress. The carpet needs replacing.

Near Quarter, Music, and Streetcar line--couldn't be better.
Breakfast, a night bar on the terrace would be nice.

Great location, clean & served my needs as a solo business traveler.
Terrible in-room coffee experience & no readily available coffee in the am. Had to go into the restaurant to get a waitress to get me a cup of brewed coffee that was 3/4 full & cost almost $6. It’s always the little things… access to coffee/tea should be easy & affordable. Restaurant was good - bartender was great. Hotel lacked staff who could answer my questions about additional services/support.

The only thing good is the location of the hotel.
The room is very dark and probably bypurpose they dont want to improve the lighting inside the room because of the dirty sofas and old, weak room furniture. But the worst thing is the coakroaches under the bed. Another thing what is weird is there are lots of reviews abouth this hotel at this platform but am I the only one who realize this kind of situation?? Very weird!

The staff was EXCELLENT, helpful, knowledgeable. Delilah helped make our stay feel special!
The facilities were subpar. The bed was squeaky. The room was musty. Furniture was quite beat up. It felt dated. Carpet was… a little yuck. Can’t open windows for fresh air.
