The property was clean and nice. It was within walking distance to the facility to watch the Chicago Bulls.
We had to park off-site, as the small parking lot on-site was full. As a result, we had to park several blocks away, which was very inconvenient. I did not know this before booking the room, or else I would not have made the reservation.

This is a great facility! It's the old hospital, so the hallways are so wide and it just feels luxurious! Lots of safety features to prevent people who aren't staying from getting off on your floor. The front desk clerk, Charminique was the friendliest hotel staff member we've ever had! Often in big cities, the front desk staff are indifferent or terse, but she was bubbly, lively, engaging! She welcomed me to the hotel and told me about its history and the museum there. She sold us on how magical Chicago is, and how much she loves it. She made sure we knew of all the things to do, eat, visit, or purchase in the hotel, and how to find them as well as their hours. She also assisted me on checkout, and was just SO GOOD at her job. She set the tone for our visit to the hotel and to Chicago, and we had an amazing trip. We can't wait to go back, and we will use this hotel again.

Stunning renovation of a famous historic building

Clean and friendly close to my planned destination
The fact that booking.com allowed me to book a room knowing that the hotel was already overbooked. Got there and paid more for a room that was not what I reserved. I needed one bedroom w/2 queen beds suite and got a one bedroom one bed suite instead for 4 ppl. Very disappointing as I am a very loyal customer!! Had no where else that I could book so got forced to stay in a situation that was not a comfortable stay!

Clean, comfortable rooms, good location, quite place, nice breakfast, friendly staff.

First is the Location. It is near the 2 L train stations so it’s very easy to go around the city. Second one is Safety. Guests can only access their specific floors. Free Breakfast is good as well. This hotel looks new and clean. I also like the aesthetics and the vibe. There’s large windows in every corner making it bright inside. Bed is comfortable. Lastly, they’re pet friendly and it’s perfect if you have pets. There’s a park in front of the hotel where you can walk your pets to go potty.
Parking is not free of charge.

The breakfast was good. The coffee was exceptional.
The rooms did not have a freezer with the mini fridge. Room coffee was horrible and front desk could have been more helpful to my requests. The bar could have been better. Drinks and domestic beer overpriced.

The location is perfect, I would have like more options in the breakfast

It is a beautifully renovated space of an amazing historical site- the old Cook county Hospital. Great museum on the first floor. Nice breakfast. Beautiful rooms with good beds

It was a good distance from United center
We heard voices in the middle of the night that sounded like they came from our room. Maybe haunted? Haha.

The whole experience.
Better shower water pressure would be welcomed.

High ceilings; easy access to medical district
Breakfast options were a little limited; something like waffles or pancakes would have been nice.

Preis Leistung-Top
In der Nähe 10 min . Fußweg, Panda Express, mexikanisch, Starbucks, chicken

The location was good!
The price we paid for the room was way overpriced for the size of the room! It was awfully small. The price should have been cut in half for that room!!!

Should improve the cleaness. For example in my room the glass was dirty and the bed line.

The hotel was beautiful and the bed was beyond comfortable.
Our last night there was a dog barking from 6am-11am which resulted in us not being able to get enough sleep. Contacted the front desk and nothing was done about it. With having to drive 12 hours home that morning it was a struggle because we were running off no sleep.

I was tied to the hotel since my class was within walking distance and I opted not to get a rental car. The food from the breakfast buffet and lounge was excellent and I enjoyed the mini-museum about Cook County Hospital. There was a nice place to study with a classmate.
I wish the coffee pot in the room was full size and the provided coffee was better.
