The property was clean and well thought out. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. The views were gorgeous and we had easy access to everything we were there to do.

We stayed for 4 nights in June as a base to visit Page, hike The Wave, and visit Zion National Park. The house is in a convenient location for all of these! The house was so beautiful and spacious and the view was great. The house is located close (within walking distance) to a 7/11, gas station and Wendy's which is very convenient. The supermarkets were about a 2 minute drive away, as well as restaurants, activity centers, etc.The house was well equipped, and had a pantry with loads of essentials. The beds were comfortable, and the sheets and comforter in the master bedroom were so soft and cozy.Instructions were clear and easy. The host was very responsive. Any inquiry I had was answered immediately! Would recommend.

We stayed at “Bright Modern Abode” in Kanab for 5 nights at end of May. The house was so clean and comfortable with gorgeous views from the master bedroom. Kanab was a great base for our visits to Zion, Bryce, and the North rim of the Grand Canyon. We really loved sitting outside at the back table. Highly recommend this house and wish I could have stayed longer!

We loved this property. Views were great! We were centrally located to several major attractions. Kanab is a great town! Only thing missing was a blow dryer and an adequately supply of toilet paper.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful 3 night stay. The home was perfect for our needs - clean, comfortable, great space for gathering. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. The view of the sunrise over the cliffs from the master bedroom was truly spectacular! Would definitely book again.

We work at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon quite often and need places to stay in Kanab. The house was great, worked well for our needs.

My wife, her sister, and I (late 50s/early 60s) stayed for a week in early October. We really enjoyed the house and found that it fit our needs perfectly. The house was clean, comfortable and quiet. The kitchen was fairly well stocked, but then it does not take much to make me happy. Bathrooms were large, although there was no soap or shampoo supplied in the master bath (not an issue for us). Plenty of towels and bed linens were available.
We particularly enjoyed the outdoor spaces, both the small front porch and the larger, covered backyard seating area. In fact, we enjoyed watching the annular eclipse from the back porch which was ideal. There used to be a golf course behind the house, but that is long gone, but it did provide a nice view. Not a lot of wildlife, but we did see mule deer, roadrunners and other birds, and a few lizards. The neighborhood cats also came by on their daily rounds.
I don't recall turning on the TV, so I have no idea about that. I could not connect to the wifi, but did not have need for it so I did not ask the manager for help. I had good signal on my phone at the house (I use Verizon and my wife is on ATT).
The only side issue were the lights from the gas station; took away from the starry night sky and did shine into the house at night (there are blinds on the master bedroom window). That's not a knock on the house, just an awareness for future renters.
Overall, this was a great base for exploring around Kanab.

We loved Lee’s place and would 100% come back. Perfect location if planning to visit Bryce Canyon and Zion. Close to local restaurants and grocery stores. Kitchen was well stocked (knives were sharp and amazing for cooking!) Decor was lovely. Lee even shared his Hulu login details to watch play off baseball :) Definitely recommend!

We stayed back in July for a week and the property was clean, great location, and very well managed. We had a slight issue with the refrigerator not cooling and hosts were quick to resolve as well as answer our questions about the area. Very responsive and would stay here again!

This home was nice and the location was great to visit all the area parks - Antelope Canyon, Bryce, Zion, Grand Canyon north rim. We loved the view from the back of the home! It was great having access to the garage to make loading and unloading convenient and not have to mess with unlocking the door. We had a slight issue with the smoke detector randomly going off, but our host was quick to respond. My only suggestion is in the master bedroom please do something with the bed frame that sticks out or at least don’t allow the comforter to hide that. I hit my shin and left a gash and knot…very minor issue I know, but just a suggestion.

We loved this home for our vacation in Kanab! The home was very clean and fit our family of 6 perfectly. We enjoyed the covered patio with the view of the hills. The location is close to the grocery store and just minutes to cute downtown Kanab. It was an excellent base for our travels to Grand Canyon North Rim, Zion and Bryce. We had zero issues and the owner was very responsive to a couple of questions we had. Highly recommend this property!

This home is super clean and a great layout. I stayed their with my 2 adult children and we all had plenty of room. The beds are super comfy. The location of this home is really good if you are planning on visiting Zion, Bryce, antelope and lake Powell. I would stay in this home again and again!!

The home is tucked into a new development at the foot of a bluff. It was clean, open and spacious. It felt like home pretty quickly as everything is pretty spread out. The backyard has a great view of the bluffs and it feels very serene. The town is very cute and small so everything is super close. The grocery store is 5 mins away and is well stocked.
A few small nits. Watch out for the primary bedroom bed frame. It’s easy to smack your shin into since it sticks out from the comforter. There was no soap, shampoo and conditioner in the primary bathroom when we were there. The washer was broken when we were there so that was an issue that needed to be resolved. Not a lot of games so if you have kids, bring your own. And go the speed limit in town with everyone wearing seatbelts, they like to ticket.

This was a great house from which to stage a hiking trip in the area. The property was clean, comfortable, plenty of space for five adults, and we loved the view from the back patio. The kitchen had everything that we needed, including sharp knives -- we cooked most of our meals in so this was a real bonus. It was the perfect location for a trip that included hikes in Bryce, Zion, Antelope Canyon, and Vermillion Cliffs. So much more to see and do in the area that we're already talking about when we can come back. Would rent this house again.

This house was perfect for our family and we loved our stay! We traveled to Zion, Bryce, Antelope Canyon and a few cool trails/caves/dunes nearby. It was a great location for our home base. The house was super clean and had everything we needed. Plenty of blankets, dishes and utensils. The beds were comfy and there was a great mountain view from the back. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone wanting to visit the area!!

What a beautiful clean home that has views on both sides. Great little neighborhood with a hike/walk to the K on the hill. We enjoyed our stay and would book again if ever in Kanab. The house was immaculate.

Great location and property! Access to the garage was a major plus since it snowed everyday. The internet was fast and no issues with the TV in the living area.
Note: we left a detailed note for the property manager to review.

We loved our stay! The house was clean, well furnished, & comfortable with soft beds + couches. Views from the living/TV area and kitchen table were awesome - gorgeous mountains and a grassy field (we even saw deer here in the evening!)
The drive to Zion was not much more than 30 min, and staying in a real house was far better than a hotel. We cooked meals and made coffee daily.
I'd definitely stay here again, and I recommend it to others!
(Only minor con - no BBQ grill outside...maybe consider adding one? I always love grilling at rental houses.)

This house suited our family of 5 perfectly! They location was great for Zion, Bryce Canyon and Grand Canyon. We loved this house and all it had to offer. It was clean and offered everything we needed. The town of Kanab was wonderful. We throughly enjoyed our ATV tour with Kanab Adventures to Peekaboo Canyon! Do yourself a favor a book this house!
5.0 / 5.0
We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is beautiful and has a stunning view. The big windows are awesome so you can enjoy the view even from inside too. My husband and I stayed with our 2 small kids and we had more than enough room. We had a few meals in and the house had everything we needed and was well stocked. We had our own cooler but noticed them in the garage and utilized the Tupperware available to take a picnic lunch to the Grand Canyon. We visited zion national park, the north rim of the Grand Canyon as well as Bryce Canyon. So kanab made for a great base location. We did an atv tour with expedition kanab and would highly it. We also made a trip to best friends animal sanctuary, which is great, especially for animal lovers. Also-I noticed some of the reviews mentioned not having a garage opener. One must have been added because we had it and worked great.

Property was nice and clean. Beds we comfy and seemed to have new quality mattresses. Listings pictures were somewhat misleading on amount of space between houses and size of driveway but were about to park in the road with no complaints. We would recommend and stay again!

As one other reviewer stated, the pictures do not do it justice. We could not have been more pleased with our choice of this house for our vacation. We chose this house for its proximity to Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, and Page, AZ. The sunrise views from the back patio are amazing. I highly recommend this property.

It’s rare to find a place that looks *better* in real life than the photos show. This home is one of those places.
To the prospective traveller reading this, give this home some serious consideration. The location is perfect for a wide-spanning UT/AZ adventure with family & friends and the home has everything you need to recharge after a day of recreation. There are bonuses I have to point out too, what with the stunning sunsets/rises, the massive kitchen, the cozy & spacious bedrooms, and the proximity to grocery stores and restaurants.
A huge thank you to the host! I definitely plan to return.

Kanab Hiking Adventure House
Great Location, close to town and especially the Welcome Center for the Escalante Monument Area. It was great to check in with the rangers who gave us lots of options for hikes in the area. We also used a tour company (DreamLand Tours) that picked us up right at the house!
The house was a great place to relax in the evenings. Great views out the backyard and no houses behind the property. We didn't cook (except breakfast) because there were so many great eating places in town very close to the house. We ate at Houston's Trails End and Wild Thyme ....both excellent food.
Would like to see a Keurig added to the appliances. We had to go get ground coffee for the regular old fashion coffee pot. Also, no extra garbage bags and we could have used a hose for the outside faucet to rinse out shoes. A must for this area to have an outdoor rinse place because the trails are quite dusty/muddy and we didn't want to track it in the house.
We did appreciate the washer/dryer and the available laundry soap in the house. We were able to wash our sweaty dirty clothes after being out hiking all day.
Bedrooms were a nice set-up for all guests. And the bathrooms had shampoo and soap available for showers. Lots of hot water!
All in all, a great location and place to stay in Kanab!

Nice rental house in Kanab
We chose this property from the online reviews and for its location with access to Bryce, Zion and Grand Canyon North Rim. Good home layout. Quiet new subdivision. Comfy bed in main bedroom.

This location was perfect!
The house was perfect! I had unknowingly book a tour with Kanub Tours to visit the canyons and it was literally across the street. The market was really close as well. The house was spacious and well kept. The check in an check out was effortless. We were able to go to Zion and Bryce National parks easily from here. I would definitely come back in the future to explore more of Utah!!! Thank you.

Spacious home and great location
The home was spacious, clean and in a quiet residential neighborhood. It is located close to the center of town with great restaurants and a supermarket and gas station nearby. This location was central to 3 areas we visited- Zion, Bryce and Page. There was a problem with the a/c upon arrival and I contacted the property manager who was already aware of the problem and had contacted the maintenance company. The problem was fixed within a couple hours and we had no further issues with that for the remainder of the stay. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of pots, pans, dishes, spices, salt, pepper, oil, etc.
The only suggestions I can make to improve the home would be to put blackout curtains in the bedroom windows as the sun comes up early and the rooms become bright. Also a garage door opener remote would be more convenient for putting the car in the garage as opposed to going through the front door and opening the garage door from the inside.
Wifi signal was strong but be aware that if you have T-mobile cellphone service, there is barely a signal in the home and immediate neighborhood. I had to drive to the visitor center to send a text message to the property manager. However, if you can use Whatsapp or Facebook messenger, those would work in the house for texting purposes. Cellphone service in general is limited once you leave the populated towns. Overall a great stay!
