Would stay again, perfect for an overnight stay.

Very friendly staff, room & en-suite was just right for what we needed for an overnight stay visiting family. Lovely quiet room.

The room was very bare & the flooring made it feel quite cold.

Not suitable for old couple unless u r fit. Check first if they vê have room on the ground or first floor. if not avoid

Location

No internet this time in the room. Room given to us was in the second floor top floor. Difficult for us to climb the stairs as we are old couple. I am 65 heart patient and wife 60 and she suffers arthritis. When requested if they could arrange another room the receptionist told us the hotel was full. We had no choice as it was late in the evening when we arrived. It was so difficult to climb all the way up with luggage. We usually stay in this hotel records would indicate every time we come to Leicester as to proximity to visiting relatives. We will have to consider another accommodation in the future, very disappointed this time.

Not even close to value for money

Plenty of off-street parking, women at the reception was lovely and allowed early check-in and the shared kitchen/communal area had everything you need.

Room wasn’t as we imagined, felt and very cheap for the price we paid. The floor was very dirty and sticky, bathroom was the same with tiles that had missing grout or was everywhere, shower had limescale on it and the room was right next to the fan of the next door takeaway so couldn’t open the window without the room smelling of fried fish. Honestly, very disappointing.

Nice, clean modern rooms and good basic facilities - good shower, wardrobe, hangers, iron, coffee. Absolutely brilliant is the Co-op literally same building and smart burger restaurant too - so convenient. Stoneygate a really nice leafy part of Leicester - great for Clarendon Park and other student areas. Great price for all that.

Parking would be good - frustratingly ambiguous in that initially says parking available but once booked - then says no parking! Turns out there are three places - but appear to be taken by staff! All that said, easy to park in next street as it turns out. WiFi is non-existant despite it being listed - cannot connect or even see what is being offered.

The host tried, but I didn’t feel comfortable.

it’s location above the coop and the room was clean.

it showed a great breakfast selection / but most of it not available anymore. the bedroom was cold. constant smell of cooked food. it cost more than another hotel I stay in that has a free breakfast and free car parking. also worried about safety.

Staff knocked my door told me there was complaints about noise when I had mad no noise and they have familes in there and the rooms are too close together

100% Perfect!!! It was an absolute pleasure to stay here. Excellent service from arrival to departure. Staff member named Costa is a gem of a person as he was amazingly friendly, very professional and so incredibly helpful because he was always at hand to look after my every need no matter how big or small. Free WiFi worked flawlessly. Room was very clean with all amenities you may need. The bed mattress was extremely comfortable and pillows were perfect for sleeping as I slept like a baby. Spotless batroom plus the rainfall shower provided ample water to wash away suds, enough pressure so that the shower was invigorating and at the right temperature – not too hot or too cold. I would highly recommend this hotel for both buisness or pleasure trips and I'm eagerly looking forward to returning in the near future.

Everything was 100% perfect.

Breakfast menu and machine coffee couldn't be consumed, so bad. For £90 a night, no good breakfast is not a value for money

A gem of a place really. Met all my needs as a solo traveller for work - and exceeded expectations. Great value.

Clean, warm, comfortable, secure, welcoming. Modern and well equipped. Quiet but convenient location. Windows that actually open more than an inch! Complimentary self service breakfast. And a lounge/kitchen if you want to cook an evening meal yourself.

The view of my particular room was over the roof of the Coop below - but as a work traveller, it really didn’t bother me. Parking immediately outside the hotel is limited - but able to park short term in CoOp car park (below) to drop bags and settle in for an hour, then park in the next street with no problem. (free)

The rude approach by the reception, almost shooed us away stating that "come back at 3, slamming the door in his half sleep at 9.30 am, without answering any further question.

A very average stay

Breakfast facility, location

Room was dirty especially the bathroom and needs a deep clean aswell. Room needs to be tidied up and look presentable i.e better maintained. Shower very poor as was the parking.
