Our comments refer to the unit 5118-5th Ave in Whitehorse - a "new" and larger house that we were offered instead of the unit that we had booked.
The unit was indeed very spacious and centrally located, and at the same time very quiet. The host was also very friendly and helpful.
From the outside, our immediate impression on arrival was that the "new" house had already seen better days. From the inside, it also looked less cozy than on the photos in the internet. We do not mind second hand furniture - but if the chairs in the living room are stained that you do not want to sit on them, this is not good... There were also a few prominent stains on the carpet.
We hope that the host will invest some time and money in the near future to turn the house into what it could be. For the considerable price that we paid, we were actually somewhat disappointed.

it was very close to where my son and daughter-in-law lived, so it was an easy walk to their home
It was very basic. The furniture was very plain, with nothing to make it warm and inviting. As we spent most of our time at our sons house, it wasn’t a problem for us, but would have been inadequate if we were just staying there and preparing most of our meals there.

Location is great and the little house is straightforward and comfortable. Anson made the unit available early for us upon request, which was really nice. He met us promptly and came by later with more towels for 3 dripping cyclists.
More variety of tea and a few breakfast basics would've been appreciated. And yet it was fine. I didn't expect breakfast actually. The layout is a bit funky and some of the sliding doors didn't work, but it served our needs well.

Good location, very clean, comfy bed
There are Tennant's living in the basement which was not mentioned in the add. You could hear everything
