Most enjoyable, real bonus was the very good central location in Bayeux

Great property and location

Great house in a great location. Extremely good value for money. A short distance walk to many amazing locations. All th facilities you could need and lots of space. Would definitely use again. Parking across the road for free, and a lovely bakery at top of the street. Great views of the cathedral and very quiet and relaxing

Not the property, but very busy in restaurants between 19:00-21:00, book well In advance or eat Early. Many places closed on Monday similar to Paris. Accommodate was 1x double room, 2 x twin and large sofa bed in living area, so last 2 people need to share if more than 6 staying for info

A good base for a family wanting to explore Bayeux and wider Normandy.

The location is excellent, and the house has plenty of space for 3 or 4 people. Plus dogs are welcome, and the hotel staff were very helpful. I also like that the pictures are a fair representation of the property, which is also fairly rated as 3 star. I was worried that parking would be a problem, but even in the early August holiday period we were able to park most of the time in the small public car park across the road from the property. For those with EVs, there is charging available in a few locations. Be sure to order the Freshmile RFID chip though, as many chargers don't work with the App.

The kitchen could use a new set of pans and an oven tray, and the extraction fan could use a clean too. Cleanliness was OK, but not excellent.

Location was great - but property needs work and a deep clean

Location was great. Bedrooms we're a good size with a good amount of storage. beds were comfortable. It was three bedrooms so nice to have the space. Living room was comfortable.

The downstairs living room and kitchen were dark (old house) and the lighting wasn't adequate. Light fitting hanging by the wire/cable. Substandard kitchen and cleaning. A mishmash of kitchen utensils, plates and glasses. Cutlery draw was disgusting, crumbs etc. The kitchen bench was grimy - I cleaned it and every other thing we wanted to use. One kitchen unit was broken. The cabinet with plates, glasses, and bowls was broken. The bathroom shower tray was cracked, and mould on the tiles and ceiling. You were required to clean the place before you left, or they would charge you a cleaning fee - that was annoying after all the cleaning I had to do when we arrived.

The oven didn’t work, there was limited cooking equipment, the shower was broken, one of the dining chairs was broken and there was nothing to dry the towels on as the radiators were off. The washbasin plug had been snapped off.

A great home base for a family adventure in Bayeux and at the D-Day landing beaches!

We loved this spacious house in Bayeux for our family of 6! They even adjusted the be configuration for us, and the staff of the hotel that manages the house was always available for what we needed, from getting a taxi to letting us borrow an iron when we needed it. It was in a great spot to walk to everything in Bayeux, even to and from the train station! It was also so cool to wake up and see the cathedral outside my bedroom window.

We were not able to get the stove to work for us, and there was some nearby dog that would howl and screech at various times of the day and night. Hopefully that dog was just belonging to another guest and not a permanent resident!

nice place to stay but stairs may be an issue.

we liked the location which was convenient to the train station and town centre. It was self contained and everything was working fine.

it was a bit cold for us with no heating turned on even though it was quite cold at night and the flooring was really cold - bring socks! The stairs are a bit steep and we left our heavy luggage downstairs.

A fantastic location for exploring Bayeux.

The location was fantastic - with a view of the cathedral. The house was clean and had enough space for us all.

The person we collected the keys from didn't understand what we had booked, including the car parking arrangements. The electrical sockets were very loose in some rooms.

Location is fantastic at this clean property

Location is amazing and Bayeux is wonderful! Staff at the hotel, a few doors down, where you collect the key, are lovely and very helpful. Beds very comfortable, view of cathedral is wonderful! Bathroom modern and shower is lovely. Spacious house, close to everything. Restaurants a short walk. Cathedral is very close, parking free on street, if you can find one, or hotel charges to park behind. Close to DDay beaches great for exploring! Would stay here again.

We liked this house, so did our children, but it needs a few pictures on the walls in toilets, bit of TLC, decor a bit dated. A lamp needed in the lounge. For the price and for 1 night, it was suitable for 2 adults and 2 children. Kitchen needs seriously updating to bring it in line with bathroom and more plug sockets. Felt a bit unmanaged.

loved the town of Bayeux

great location. staff was very helpful and pleasant. large bedrooms and a new modern shower and sink.

Kitchen was so dirty that I was uncomfortable cooking in it. also the 2 toilet areas need to be updated and cleaned and renovated. One living room chair also very stained. because of these dirty areas I would not rent again until updated.

Totally perfect.

The location was superb ,hosts very friendly and helpful.Well equipped kitchen but a pair of oven gloves would have been useful. Great to be able to park outside the property.. In all a fantastic stay and wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Bayeaux. Thank you, Ian , Marina &Bill.

An outstanding stay in a gorgeous European city

Very strategically located, close to all major POIs, yet adequately away from the noise of the market.

Private car parking could have been better. I had problems while parking my car each time. Despite a notice in front of the house, every other person parks their car right in front of the gate, making it difficult to find another parking in the vicinity. There is adequate parking around the area, but for those with kids it could be a bit of a walk after a long journey by car.

Perfect location, amazing staff, definitely hope to stay here again soon.

Location is amazing, there is a view of the cathedral from 2 of the bedrooms. The city center and many restaurants are an easy walk just around the corner. Most of the Omaha Beach attractions are within a 30 minute drive of the apartment. Utah Beach and many other “D day” locations are within a 45 minute drive. La Mont St Michel is just over an hour away. There are also several museums in town. The owners are great people and went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant stay. They are also very knowledgeable about the area and it’s history. The apartment is in a historic building and the interior is remodeled nicely, especially the bathroom. Beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cookware. There is plenty of room for 7 or 8 people.

Some areas could use some fresh paint but overall it was a great value for the price.
