Went to a gig at the picturedome ,stayed with two other couples and had agreat time .

Local cafe and Bars great for food and drink ! Location was great right in the centre of town !

Absolutely brilliant

Absolutely brilliant. A VERY well equipped house. Andrea was there to meet us and show us round. She was on the other end of the phone for any questions, both before and during our stay. The location of the house could not have been better. Bars, cafes and restaurants on the doorstep. Bus station close by to explore. There was even a garage to put our little car in. If I was visiting Holmfirth again, i would definitely stay here. Was sad to leave.

The garden could do with a blast as it was covered in moss, which I appreciate must be a battle as not much sun gets on it.

We were really happy with the accommodation. Some nice touches like straighteners and milk in the fridge. Great location, beds comfortable, what more can you ask for!

The only negative was the noise from the pub next door as people hung around directly below the bedroom window, but ear plugs are provided, so everything has been thought of.

spacious, comfortable and well equipped cottage in the centre. the host was very kind. we had a great stay and would def

typical of some streets in small villages the road leading to the cottage is very narrow so we couldn’t enter the garage. it wasn’t a problem as we parked across the road in the sainsburys carpark.

We loved our stay here. Location was amazing, the house had all you possibly needed. 100% will be returning.

The only one thing I'd add/change is just a touch more clarity on parking for arrival.

Great base for exploring Holmfirth.

This was my second stay at the property. The host meets you on arrival which is nice. The property is clean and homely . It is well equipped for self catering but is in a great central location to eat / drink out.

Fabulous Holiday House!

Quiet considering it was right in the centre. Comfortable and spacious. The extra toilet in the hallway was an advantage! Andrea the host was fantastic. Met us on arrival and showed us around. Lovely house and was great that it was detached too. Great garden and facilities!

Would benefit from a few more mirrors, especially full-length. The lighting wasn't as bright as hoped, so maybe a few more lamps etc.

Well positioned cottage idea for our visit to the Picturedome.

The owner Andrea was very friendly and helpful with a good sense of humor. She left a personalised booklet giving advice on local places that were good and those that were not so. The cottage was really nice and clean and full of character with quirky-shaped rooms and corridors. We came down to see bands that were playing at the Picturedome, which was an easy 2-minute walk, as were a number of restaurants for after. We will no doubt be coming back once more bands we like come play Holmfirth.

The only downside was we couldn't park my Range Rover outside as it was too big. There was a parking space for us a couple of minutes walk away, so it wasn't an inconvenience. The wall also helped me get my bearings around the town.
