Although the hot tub was in the description of what was included, I had to pay an additional £50 to use and unfortunately for us, this was the highlight of our stay.
Wifi didn’t work, despite every attempt to get it working. Tv had no Ariel so couldn’t watch it. Radiators didn’t work. It was 15 degrees and raining. The bath had no plug and I had to wait until 10pm to find one. The owners were not there and somebody else was looking after the property. That person couldn’t resolve the issues we faced. I ended my stay 25 hours after arriving. Contacted the owners and had no response. Explained to them that I am seriously unwell and chose to stay at there home from home for the weekend as the beacons were apart of my wish list. Expecting home comforts of a nice warm bath, warm home and binge TV to get my through the weekend, we were mislead. We spent more time away from the property than we did in it, because of the lack in amenities. This was not worth the money that I paid for it. Still haven’t had contact from owners.

The surroundings are fantastic. Ceri and Will were friendly, helpful and informative hosts. As walkers we greatly enjoyed walking in local mountains. The views are amazing. The hot tub was great fun.
Its a working farm with friendly dogs and cats hens and so forth. We actually liked it but might not be to some peoples taste (in which case dont stay on a farm....)

Great location and view. Lovely hot tub. Responsive host.
Some bulbs out and the dishwasher didn't work.

The location was great as close to lots of walks, waterfalls and shopping facilities.
The downstairs open plan was nice and still warm.
The hot tub was wonderful. Lots of towels.
It’s very quiet and peaceful with stunning views.
Unfortunately the shower wasn’t very hot. The master bed very small. The toaster didn’t work properly. If you wanted to watch anything I would advise taking your own laptop etc and use wifi as reception was very poor.
Outside would benefit from an undercover area.

Fabulous views , hot tub was great temperature
Kitchen was a disaster, strong fish smell on arrival, broken table tipped to one side throwing drinks everywhere, toaster only works if u hold the lever down, to get to the lights you had to climb over the sofa. Hot tub on slope, so water deeper on one side, smelly dirty cushions all over sofa, dead plants everywhere, no soap in the bathroom, area around hot tub strewn with rubbish and weeds, dodgy electrics , lights kept going off in top bedroom scaring the kids.
Please fix this place up !! It could be beautiful ! Just looks like no one cares about it ... so sad ....
Please throw all the dead & fake plants and sofa cushions away, replace the linen with white bedding, BUY A NEW TOASTER ! fix the table ! That would be a good start

Nothing!!!

not a lot
bathroom facilities sink blocked
due to oversized shower poor access to toilet very limited space also loft bedroom limited space couldn’t turn over in your bed without jamming yourself against the roof
also I think health and safety issues need to be looked at if their was a fire down stairs you would not be able to get out of the house
on the first landing their us a door but it’s locked and no information / access to the key to open the door
also health and safety issues with the outside electrics to the hit tub
plug should be enclosed in waterproof unit putting a bucket over it does not comply with health and safety standards
I am actually surprised and that it’s quite obvious you do not view premises on regular basis
I would not use your site to book an away day / weekend again

Located perfectly, close to fabulous walks and quaint towns and villages. Very clean, tidy cottage, owners very polite and helpful.l
Was a bit miffed about the extras being tagged on after booking, £25 each for dogs and £30 for hot tub, for a two night stay.
Main problem was the bloody screaming peacock. Once at 2am, every morning at 6am plus. Plus evenings.
I'm a farmer, used to noise in the country, but it was just too much, making us jump out of our skins.
My advice, shoot the bloody peacock. 😂😂😂

location and the peacocks!
The cutlery was all dirty in the drawer. there was a plum stone dried on to our wall by the bed. was told to bring our own towels due to covid. we did but there were hand towels and flannels provided in the bathroom. that didn’t really make sense.

Breakfast was great. It consisted of all the usual suspects, that were really good quality & tasty! It was given to us the night before & we cooked ourselves. All six of us loved it. We also bought pork pies that were delicious. The hosts were really helpful from before we arrived until we left, giving us info on walks & the best pubs to eat. They even offered to pick us up from the pub! Our group consisted of 5 friends all in their mid to late 40's & my teenage son. I will certainly be returning with the rest of my family. The location was spot on. xx
There was genuinely nothing I didn't like, bathroom was a bit tight as was the loft room, but considering there were 6 men, we all fitted in nicely.

Location, Staff, and diverse amenities.
The bed was not comfortable making sleeping difficult. We ended up taking turns on the sofa.

Self catered as a group of 5 suited our needs.
£10 for a crate of firewood, however we did bring some from home.
