I’ve chosen this place to sleep 2 nights to visit New Forest and it was a real pleasure to sleep here! The hub was so nice and everything super clean. It’s only 5 minutes from Ringwood and 20 minutes from New Forest. It is exactly as described. The host was really nice and I higly recommend to stay in this beautiful place. Also the milk offered was really good!

Lovely location in wooded area, close to local amenities and tourist attractions.

The cosiness, the cleanliness, the pine scent and quietness around, the provision of towels, cookware, tea, coffee and biscuits, the beautiful forest around, the pretty little touches, like the outside lights and old maps, and the general convenience and cunning arrangements, as if it were a ship's cabin. We have never experienced such soft, silky sheets. Where can we buy some?! The presence of a cat outside made it more intimate. Finally, it was great to be able to show up late and easily access the hut; also, to simply leave the key in the door in the morning and just go without signing in and out etc.
There were a few small stains on one of the pillow-cases.
There was nothing else we didn't like. It was generally delightful.

Friendly reception by owner, lovely secluded picturesque location and Shephard's Hut.
There was a breakfast delivery menu available.
Not a complaint, we are both used to a firmer mattress and felt the slats of bed.
Believe a suitable mattress topper would probably remedy this.

Somethong different from a boring hotel room with cooking facilities if needed.

A wonderful welcome from Tracy who runs things, Jasper, a beautiful cat, followed us in and stayed with us for the first couple of hours, which was lovely and got things off to a good start. We were in the red hut, which was actually even nicer than we'd imagined. A unique experience looking out into woodland, with wifi, t.v. on the wall to watch in our comfortable bed, microwave, cooker, fridge, shower... everything you could possibly need.
We also decided to go for the breakfast, texting our order through the night before, which was delivered to our door by a lovely lady called Julie who had cooked us everything we'd chosen to perfection! We gathered our things and headed just over the road, into a park for a walk around the lake and a ride on the charming little steam train there, before journeying home. Beautifull little stay, we will definitely be coming back for more

The little shepherds hut was very modern inside it was idiluk sitting outside in the evening watching the sun go down and the squirrel forage for their dinner. I would definitely stay there again.

Forest Heath Shepherds hut was absolutely beautiful! Although close to the owners address, the site is completely secluded and looks over beautiful forests. There is an idilc seating area which is very well light and a lovely bbq area.
Honestly wouldn’t change anything.

I stayed on a very cold February night and the hut was toasty warm. Excellent location too for the nearby country park, which I used for running but great too for walkers and families. 10-15 minute walk too, from lovely pub (Three Legged Cross). Host was very helpful and available straight away on arrival. Parking on site. Very clean too.

I booked this on the spur of the moment for my son and daughter in laws 20th wedding anniversary, as it falls between Christmas and New year they rarely celebrate it... this is what they thought of their break. Weather was awful, but the shepherd's hut was really cosy and warm...we had a lovely relaxing couple of days away, which was very nice, we were able to unwind after a hectic festive period..The owners even left us a bottle of Bucks fizz to help us celebrate our anniversary too!! Very much appreciated and a lovely surprise, thank you..
