Beach Days is a wonderful family oceanfront home that boasts 6 roomy bedrooms with 5 bathrooms.
As soon as you enter this spacious home, you are greeted by a breathtaking view of the Atlantic Ocean & a boardwalk to the famous Isle of Palms beach. This serene home has space for everyone to spread out, relax, share meals inside or out, or retreat for some private time.
Guests can enter Beach Days through the welcoming front door into the foyer which is centrally located in the heart of this home, being immediately greeted by sweeping ocean views. From there, you can go to the north wing which has 2 bedrooms- one with a king and one with a queen- both with private en suite bathrooms and private deck entrances. You can stop on your way to the eat-in kitchen overlooking the wooded lot and admire the ocean view right from the kitchen sink; a fluid design allows for ease of meal prep using the built-in oven, microwave, and gas cooktop. There are counter stools and a 6-seat table for fun conversing while cooking and for casual dining. There is a laundry room in the north hall too.
From the kitchen or the foyer, you can enter the sunken living room and dining room with spectacular oceanfront views. Both rooms are spacious enough for everyone to be together making memories. The livingroom has been newly decorated in June 2023 which includes a sleeper sofa! You will notice the multi-level decks furnished with white rockers, loungers, and a furnished screened-in "living space" with a 4- bar top table and an outdoor seating group. There is a propane grill for your cooking needs as well.
Back inside, on the first floor, the south wing has an enormous bedroom with a king bed, a daybed with a trundle & a TV perfect for catching up on your favorite Netflix series. This bedroom shares a hall bathroom with an oceanfront bedroom on the first floor furnished with a queen bed.
The second floor's primary suite has endless ocean views. Wake up in a king-sized bed with the ocean waving at you from the doors leading to the balcony. There is a sitting area with Roku TV, sleeper loveseat and swivel chair for quiet time away from your group. The massive bathroom has his & her separate vanities and dressing areas. Wash the salt water away from direct oceanfront views in the en suite walk-in shower or rest peacefully in the soaker tub. We loved the house! There was 13 of us and plenty of room and bathrooms for all of us. The view was amazing! The walk to the beach is about 2 minutes! Would definitely recommend!

We loved this house for our family (grandparents, 3 adult kids/spouses, 3 grand daughters) get together! It was spacious with a big central eating/gathering space and the location was perfect. A very minor and easily corrected problem was the inadequate amount of silverware (11 forks- we joked that you had your fork for the day) snd drinking glasses (plus no plastic tumblers). A tougher problem is that the weather stripping for the upstairs slider is worn away- lots of warm air comes through and the poor AC never turns off. It stayed warm upstairs but not bad enough to disturb our sleep. That’s it- we enjoyed our stay very much! East Island Rentals was very responsive and easy to work with!

The vacation rental was a great experience. This house is in a great location right on the beach, and what I liked about it is that it is off the “beating path” and not right on Palm Blvd where the traffic (both cars and foot traffic) can be crazy in the summer.The house definitely could use some upgrades, but the trade off is you are getting a 6 bedroom home right on the beach for less than half what a “new” recently updated home would command for a week in the summer. The house does have a lot of stairs, and I would have been more concerned if my 80 year old mother would have been with us. The upstairs master bedroom suite is huge. The room has like a “step up” platform that the master bed sits on which can be tricky and easily forgotten in the middle of the night (especially when someone is shooting off fireworks at 2am while you are in a deep sleep!). The house had everything we needed, and we had more than enough room for 10+ adults a couple of the nights. It was hot and humid the week we were there but the room temp never was higher than 75 so the AC was serviceable...for those that like to sleep in 70 degree temp I would bring a fan with you for those July-August weeks.A lot of space so room to spread out for privacy but also large areas for large groups...great screened in porch with dining table was nice. Great panaoramic view of ocean from both upstairs and downstairs.

This was the perfect location for our extended family weekend. The foyer was welcoming the moment we walked in-- we knew we were in for a great and comfortable time! There was plenty of space to sleep our crowd of nine and plenty of bathrooms. The porch, living room, dining room and kitchen all were the perfect relaxing spots for us to relax and visit. Everything was very clean and the kitchen had any appliances/utensils/kitchenware we needed. The short walk to the beach made it very easy to run back when needed. We would absolutely love to book again!

This house was large and comfortable, with a very well-stocked kitchen. The layout is somewhat odd but not atypical of older beach houses that have been renovated/expanded over time. A great house for our large family celebration. Two fairly big negatives: First, the house is very loud - when someone opens the squeaky kitchen drawer to get a spoon, it is audible in the upstairs bedrooms. Conversation in the kitchen reverberates throughout the house. Second, there is a level change on the first floor from the kitchen/entry/bedrooms to the living room/porch/back bedroom involving four separate sets of stairs, NONE of which have handrails. There are more steps without handrails on the back porch. We had an 85-year-old with us and thankfully, she did not fall, but it was a concern throughout our stay.

I was extremely disappointed with this house, here are a list of many items:Air conditioning was OK downstair except for the far room. However, there was little to no air conditioning upstairs.Refrigerator - broke within 1 day and had to be replaced. We had to leave the house for one day because the agents wouldn't come into the house to replace the refrigerator because of the dogs. I should be reimbursed for this lost day. The cabinet door in the kitchen fell off within one day.The table in the living room was held together with a TIE!!!!!!!. Paint came off one of the dining room chairs and destroyed my guest dress. One of my guests fell to the ground after sitting on an already broken rocking chair on the deck.Steps in the front of the house were broken and extremely dangerous. Outside deck was also damaged.Kitchen was old and dirty.BBQ wouldn't light correctly; it was dirty and caked with grease.Master bedroom mirrors were old and stained. Kitchen and dining room tables were damaged. Beach chairs old and rusted.Each room had some damage.I have nothing good to say about the condition of this property. As the agent I can't believe you would allow such a deplorable house as a rental. You have standards and a reputation to keep, and this rental brought it down. I can say one very small thing I was reimbursed for lost food.I will NEVER recommend this house or agent to anyone.

Overall, we were all disappointed. First the positives, good location, good views, plenty of towels which smelled freshly laundered, plenty of space (you get physical keys and only 3) and ample kitchen utensils. East Island was easy to work with. Ultimately, we just couldn't get over the condition of the home and its cleanliness. The home has an intercom system that was made between 1984-1994 and a trash compactor and it feels like that was the last time the home was really updated. One of the foyer closet doors can't open because the tile is raised up and the other one didn't open because the ball stop was stuck. One bedroom has the closet door ripped off. Two of the cabinet doors in kitchen are ripped off the hinges and barely hanging on - the did acknowledge it's been on their handy-man's to do list. The icemaker in the freezer is falling apart. One of the coffee makers looks like it has white mold in the bottom of it. The exterior of the home shows signs of higher-than-average wear and lack of upkeep: overgrown vegetation growing up through the decks, rust, mold, etc. Upon arrival we immediately noticed old cobwebs and new spider webs all over above the kitchen table and out into the dining and living space. I spent the first hour sweeping these up along with numerous spiders. the wood table in the dining area adjacent to the living space is sticky to the touch. Some amount of bugs are normal in a beach house, but this was well out of the norm. Consequently, I spent the first 2-3 hours in the home washing everything in the kitchen since I now did not have the confidence than any of the dishes, pots, pans, etc. had actually been washed. As noted the towels smelled clean, but the bedding smelled old and dusty. I can't say it wasn't washed, but it didn't smell fresh. You are asked to place all towels in the foyer upon checkout, you are not asked to the same with the sheets. I'd personally feel better if I was asked to. We won't rent this home again

This house is in horrible shape. Front step railing missing, several cabinet doors fell off, 2 closet doors not functional,needs painting inside and out,walkway to beach in dangerous condition, a lot of furniture is in poor shape, needed inside step repaired, mold on outside steps and decks,nails protuding where feeble attempt to replace decking. The only things that saved our vacation was the location(it is terrific) and East Islands Rentals pompt response to the many problms with the house. Would never recommend or return until major improvements were made.

Overall, we had a good experience. The location is great and the number of rooms and family spaces worked well for our large group. The place could use some maintenance...there are many loose boards on the decks and outdoor stairs. The pop up vent behind the cooktop is disgustingly dirty and has no filters. I believe this has been reported in other reviews and no action had been taken on that before our stay. We were disappointed to find that there were only 8 forks in the house which was not sufficient for our group. We ended up purchasing additional flatware which was cheaper than doing plastic and quicker than reaching out to the management company and waiting for them to bring more, so there are plenty now. The propane tank ran out of gas while cooking one of our meals. Again, no time to get a fresh one from management as we were in the middle of cooking. So, we finished the cooking inside. No gauge on the tank that would let us know it was low. I feel like these are things that should be checked by management prior to the next occupants coming in. There are many levels inside the home and to get into the house which is pretty, but if you have elderly people or people that are not as mobile, you should think about that before renting.

We had a wonderful stay all week long. Check-in and check out was very easy. The location is perfect right on the beach and next to the resort. The ocean views are amazing from the huge decks and balcony. The home is extremely spacious, the kitchen is stocked with everything you need and the beds are very comfy! There are stairs everywhere in this house which could present a problem if you are not careful. House needs some maintenance work. The location could not be better. Beach wasn't busy and close to Wild Dunes pool. However, the house and amenities could use some updating. The beds, bedspreads and appliances are rather old.

Good Beach Home
Good home for a large family vacation. We had 13 people, including 3 younger kids. The rooms and sleeping accommodations worked great for us. We particularly enjoyed the large living space and the screened porch.

Just finished a week at the beach (May 2021) and couldn't be happier. We had 5 families (10 people) and there was plenty of room for everyone. The house is ocean front but private -- you can watch the ocean from the back deck. Isle of Palms is a wonderful location with great access to fantastic restaurants and local bars. And the staff at East Island Rentals (EIR) could not have been any more professional or helpful -- they quickly responded to all our inquires and were able to accommodate all of our requests. We would definitely consider renting here again. Great location and everyone was very happy with the trip.

The location of this house is PERFECT. The house is big and spacious and the views are unmatched. While not totally modern, it is still perfect. It had EVERYTHING we needed- we loved it and plan to rebook it. We have zero complaints- oh and it was pet friendly which made it even more perfecr.
