This house is NOT safe for family with children. 3 ac did not work got him to come out next day he fixed 2 and didn’t have part for the 3rd. Their were leaks in ceiling in 3 places which we had to put a bucket under.2 bathrooms did not work right and one shower had no shower plastic. parts of roof was coming down in the living room paint was missing in the children’s room with big pieces of paint coming off. The wood floor was lifting up and the children kept tripping.in the tiles were broken and the little ones were falling down on those as well. and there were bugs on lamps .No privacy at all.
The rooms all connect to one of the bathroom. No parking.

If you want a true Old San Juan experience, this is the place to stay. The apartment is beautiful - historic with modern amenities. It is the perfect spot for 2 families with teenagers - plenty of space to spread out. It is in a great location - can walk everywhere (or simply sit on the balcony and watch everyone else walk). Julio is an excellent host - from the tour of the property to the quick responses to our questions, he made it easy. Definitely recommend this apartment - it's one of a kind!

This historic home is everything we'd hoped to experience. It was perfect for our family of twelve, and ideally located for exploring Old San Juan. We had an awesome time!

Our family of 14 with ages ranging from 3 to 75 stayed here for a visit in Old San Juan. The location was excellent for our purposes, and the property provided plenty of space and necessities for our stay. We appreciated the personal touch at check-in, access to the restaurant below, and the interesting historical setting. We would rent here again.

Such a nice and historic property. It was so beautiful, and near everything. We stayed with a large group and there was plenty of room. The owner was so easy to communicate with and a wonderful host.

Our family had a great time at Catedral. The house is in a great location that is close to all Old San Juan attractions. With 500 years of history the house is very interesting. Unfortunately the house is in need of some repair being that old and it’s overall layout is awkward. Our host Julio was excellent in answering any questions and getting back to us promptly. Overall our stay at Catedral was really good for our large family with plenty of space in a great location.

Beautifully convenient
This was the location of my bachelor party. We wanted a real authentic stay and got just that. Couldn’t have asked for a better location, great communication with the host and great memories made.

A Diamond in the Rough
This historic building is located in a great area of OSJ, steps from El Convento, the Cathedral and many restaurants, bars and shops. It is also easy access to the walking path that winds around the shore to the fort and to the port area.
Communication was GREAT, even when our arrival was delayed multiple times. We were greeted with a (much appreciated) cold drink and a cheerful tour of the property. It is spacious and window/doors all open to balconies so people can move around easily. It is an extremely old property and shows some signs of that but has some beautiful architectural details as well. The beds were comfortable enough, the kitchen and bathrooms were stocked well enough, and it was clean enough. There are plenty of stairs to climb to access the property.
We were a party of 6 staying full time so we had PLENTY of room but also appreciated the ability to be a meeting place for family that was staying elsewhere. The location cannot be beat.
The restaurant below was extremely accommodating and the food was good. They do play music until 11:30~12, but we were so exhausted from full days around PR it wasn’t too big of a problem.
This apartment was great for our situation and we felt like part of the community.

Great location and Architectural Gem - Noisy environment
This house is located in the heart of Old San Juan, the property is beautiful and with a lot of history, it’s an Architectural Gem!
A lot of space, the bedroom and living areas are great, the kitchen and bathrooms need upgrades, especially for the price they charge for the property.
The property Manager communication was great and he worked to quickly solve our requests.
This property is located right on top of a restaurant (Which they should mention on the listing) as a result, you have loud music and noises throughout the day from 10:00 AM to 11+ PM. We were unlucky to be there for the restaurant’s employee year end party for which we had to endure loud music and noises until almost 1:00 AM.
We loved the place and had a good overall experience.

Great location
This place was big enough to have 11 people comfortably and right in the center of Old San Juan. We were able to go downstairs and be in the streets of Old San Juan. Our group was able to be together but also felt like we had privacy. Would definitely go back
