About this cabin rental

Our adorable renovated cabin is half a block from the gorgeous Sylvan Lake beach, children's parks, restaurants and pubs. Go skating on the lake just a block away, near the amazing Christmas light display and open fire pits on the beach. There is so much to do in Sylvan Lake, any time of the year! Enjoy our firepit, front deck, and canoe if you wish. Parking provided - you can walk anywhere from the cabin and save the parking fees!

Our cozy A-frame has been completely renovated and updated with new appliances, fixtures, beds, and furniture. The open loft has a queen sized bed, reading nook, and little balcony off the front. Downstairs boasts a bright & functional living room / dining room with lots of board games to choose from, record player, TV with Netflix & Disney+, fast wifi, and Bluetooth speaker. The modern rustic decor offers lots of seating, including a large pullout sofa.

The galley style kitchen is all new, including a few different options for your morning coffee. From there you will find the bathroom which has brand new everything. Finally, the bright & spacious master bedroom which also has a new queen bed, enclosed washer and dryer, and an open-concept ensuite bathroom with a large soaker tub. All of the soaps and hair products are cruelty free, vegan friendly, paraben free and free of sulfates. The space is entirely heated by two gas fireplaces, one in the master bedroom and one in the living room.

Outside we have a firepit, front porch, expansive front lawn and a cozy little private back yard as well. There are parking spaces from the back lane, so you can forget paying for parking and walk everywhere from this perfect location. Please note that while the cabin is great for kids, the stairs to the loft are "attic" style stairs (half ladder - half stairs). Licensed short term rental with the Town of Sylvan Lake - STAR-04769

The property was exactly as advertised with no surprises! The cabin is well-appointed, well-maintained, and super cute. Everything was clean and cozy when we arrived. The host is very responsive to messages. We booked another trip immediately upon our return home and can't wait to go back.

This property was perfect for our 2 families each with one adult and one kid. The cabin is stocked to the max with beach apparel like chairs towels and a wagon to carry it all. They have games galore and the kitchen was stocked to perfection. There was nothing we felt was missing. One thing to note if you are staying with little kids, the stair going up to the loft are interesting. My 5 year old is busy and a few times made me nervous. Otherwise this place is perfect. Very clean. A hop and a skip from the lake which makes venturing back for minor things very convenient. The bed upstairs is so comfortable ( I can only assume the other one is as well), well stocked with linen and great pillows. The main bathroom has a very small shower but the tub in the master makes up for that. It's massive. Very comfy and convenient overall. Would definitely rent again.

The cabin is super cute and cozy and had everything we needed. The host had so many extras for us that made our stay even easier (firewood, wagon, beach chairs, beach towels, etc). Would definitely recommend.

We were so impressed with this cozy cabin. It was very clean, well stocked and worked for all 6 of us. We were so happy with the extra bathroom.....big plus! Misty replied very quickly to the inquiries that we had and even left us some treats - very thoughtful. We very much enjoyed being able to watch some TV at night and have some time around the campfire. Overall, very enjoyable. We would definitely go back again. :)

The cabin is absolutely perfect. The beach is just 2 minutes walk away. We could not spend time at the beach because of the weather but we weren't even bothered because this cabin has everything we need for a cozy weekend getaway.

Misty’s place has everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable getaway. Close to the lake and local restaurants. Upon walking through the main door you’ll instantly feel like you are home.

The property doesn’t look like much from the outside, but goodness it was fantastic!! Such a cozy little spot, exactly what we were looking for. We had 5 adults and it was very comfortable. Great communication with the host, little touches that went a long way. Would not hesitate to book again!

Me and girlfriends had a sweet time in Sylvan lake. Location was central and walked everywhere. Beds were super comfy. Clean. The only thing missing was a set of wineglasses. Highly recommend.

Loved the cabin. It is clean and bright and perfectly located to be 2 minute walk to the beach and yet on a quiet street. Loves the little extras provided like eggs, croissants and a yummy mango beverage. Beds were comfy, neighbors were friendly and there was lots to see and explore in sylvan and lots of relaxing cabin time. Went to the sylvan lake community theatre walking theatre show that was so great but only on summer weeeknds through mid sept. Would stay again for sure!

The cabin is super cute, spacious. We parents and our kids loved it. Host was very nice. We felt very welcome. There were beautiful wild flowers on a table, something sweet to eat and drink, free run eggs for whole family as a welcome gift from hosts. That was a nice surprise, especially when you just arrived, had empty stomach and empty fridge. There is yard to enjoy, firepit, 2 fireplaces inside, beautiful decorations. We just felt like on real vacation. It was hard to leave that place. Someone with toddlers 1-3 years old should be cautious about stairs upstairs. We managed though with our 4 kids including 1 year old and 3 years old. Kids loved the attic. Overall lovely, lovely cabin! Caring, kind hosts. Excellent location. Minute walk to the beach and main street with restaurants, coffee shops etc. I truly recommend this place. We will come back next summer:)

For the fourth summer in a row, our multi-generational family getaway was to Sylvan Lake and to this cottage. The girls now think of it as “our” cabin. Top notch location and top notch accommodations; grateful now for the upstairs AC. We have put many precious memories into the memory bank at this location.

Overall was a good stay. I would suggest the online listing state the sleeping arrangements for 6, 2 sleep in master bed, 2 sleep in loft bed and 2 sleep on pull out. We needed a blow up mattress so our 16, 13 and 10 year old children didn’t need to share a bed. Neighbor’s property that is extremely close to this property is a major eye sore, not the owners fault of course but just something to mention as this is part of your view if you choose to sit out on the deck.

The A-frame was exactly as advertised. Very clean. Nice and bright. Well decorated and we had everything we needed for our stay. We came to Sylvan Lake to golf and there were many courses nearby and it was nice being able to walk to all the restaurants, shops and the beach! No hesitation recommending this property.

Our daughter and her brides maid stay here prior to her wedding. They loved it. The spiral staircase is amazing. Very clean and Misty was great to deal with. Highly recommend if looking for stay in Sylvan Lake.

This quaint and cozy cabin was the perfect place for our first mini family vacation. It had everything you could need and the extra special touches were so appreciated!! The kids loved the cool little A frame and the games and puzzles provided. We had a blast listening and dancing to records, cooking family meals, walking to the beach and eating ice cream every day! Would highly recommend this place for a family vacation, a romantic getaway or even the perfect girls trip. We can't wait to come back!
