This beautiful, west-facing waterback home, with public beach access, is the perfect vacation spot for you and your family. The home's location is a 5 minute walk to the boardwalk but is situated away from the busyness of the downtown strip. Lounge peacefully on your deck and watch the sunset, or ride bikes along the boardwalk. Enjoy paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming, or boating right outside your front door.

We had a most amazing time staying at this beautiful property!! It exceeded expectations in every way! The house is very well equipped; everything from all you would dream of in the kitchen to chairs for around the fire pit. Tammy was very helpful answering all of my many questions ahead of time.

The extended accommodations behind the house should be deleted from the listing as it was not habitable. The kitchen had all the necessities. Loved it. We fixed the screen door in the basement as it was banging a lot and did not fit the door frame. The towel bars were not on their brackets, so no where to hang towels. The ceiling fan was loaded with dust. In the master bedroom, there was not a proper curtain. BBQ was really dirty. With this said, our family had a really great time.

It was perfect location for our 15 days on Sylvan Lake. We saw amazing sunsets from the deck, from kayaks/paddle boards on the lake and from the house. We had fires in the fire pit, fires in the fireplace and tabletop fires on the deck. Access to the lake was amazing… just walk out the door and you were there. We spent hours in the water and on the beach.
The location was perfect. We could walk or drive to town, walk on the lake shore or just take a stroll through the community. Everyone was friendly.
The house was perfect for our family of grandparents, parents and 3 teenagers. Everyone had more than enough space. There was ample room to be together, while offering plenty of room to get away for me-time. So many amenities were supplied at the house. The upstairs kitchen lacked for nothing. We used it a lot. (There are 2 kitchens in the house. We only needed to use the refrigerator in the second kitchen. Teenagers need lots of food and drinks.) We grilled many times on the back deck off the kitchen. Mealtime was a breeze with the spacious kitchen.
The host was magnificent! Tammy was so easy and fun to communicate with. She answered immediately when contacted and offered immediate solutions to any request or question. I can’t imagine any other host that could be more attentive. All of our needs were met and/or exceeded. It was a unique, relaxing and memorable vacation! I would definitely stay there again.

We had a fabulous vacation in Sylvan Lake. The host was fantastic and very responsive and accommodating. What a perfect location and the home was wonderfully set up for a large family or for a large group. The two Kitchens were well stocked and we enjoyed the ability to feel like we were at home away from home. Very pleased with the detail and all the extras in This Home.

Weather was phenomenal, beach across the street had amazing sunsets and easy to watch the kids.
Lawn chairs, fire pit, wood all provided, so didn’t need to pack much bulky stuff. High chairs and lots of kitchen ‘stuff’. Lots of fans to move air around. Big family seating in kitchen. Nice space separation, great deck.

You can’t beat the location of this home for a family or large group holiday. Right across from the beach with the best, unobstructed view of the lake and beautiful sunsets daily. House has wonderful spaces to enjoy time together and to spread out and enjoy activities separately. Well stocked kitchen upstairs and full suite with kitchen downstairs.
Host is easy to contact and ensures you and your guests have all your needs met. Our third year there and love it every time.

This property is just a wonderful place to relax with family and enjoy the lake view with its breathtaking sunsets. It has enough room to accommodate everyone, a spacious deck for relaxing and is mere steps away from the lake.

A very very short walk across a quiet road to the lake. Could not have been closer. Tammy is a very helpful, friendly owner, checked in by text to make sure we were doing ok and had everything we needed. The house is stocked with everything we needed to be comfortable. Lots of kitchen utensils. We were very happy with everything and had lots of fun. We would stay there again.

We rented this property to stay at during a family wedding that was being held locally. It was the perfect size for our group. The multiple bedroom spaces, the outdoor space and location was perfect for the whole family. We could not have asked for a better place to stay.

This was our second stay here, and everything was perfect. Able to accommodate our whole family. Owner was very helpful and friendly. Just a perfect week right in front of the beach for easy access. Fantastic family getaway
We stayed over Christmas and New Years. The owner had the cottage decorated (professionally?). It was beautiful. We had ample wood for roaring fires daily as the temps were well below 30 C most days. If it had been nicer we would have taken advantage of the outside activities such as skating and ice fishing. I cooked Christmas dinner and had everything I needed in the kitchen. I would LOVE to go back and do a summer vacation stay as the beach is right out front. Tammy was incredible to deal with and answered any and all questions quickly. Loved this stay.

Family fun
What an amazing view! Sylvan Lake is so beautiful and this property is in a perfect place to enjoy the beach, water and sunsets. The water is so clear and shallow so we didn’t have to worry about our children. We also love that the bottom is sandy.
We had 3 generations of family there and everyone found something fun to do. It helped that the weather was incredible.
The hosts have thought of everything! We had lots of room to visit and play games. There is a huge dining table where we enjoyed family meals together and at the end of the day we fell into our very comfy beds and all slept beautifully.
We especially love that our pets could come and enjoy this with us!
We would definitely recommend this property and look forward to coming back!

Great gem in Sylvan Lake
This property was fantastic in terms of location and space. Great dining room and living area and the basement and bedrooms were roomy and spacious. It was right across from a small beach with unobstructed views of the lake, so sitting out on the front porch at night with the fire going was amazing. The only thing that would have made it better was that the showers were a little strange, sometimes hardly any water would come out and it was hard to get the temperature right. The bathrooms were also very dated and old, and definitely in need of a renovation. It was hot while we were there, and there was no AC, but there was a good breeze from the lake and lots of fans. The outdoor furniture looking out onto the lake is VERY hard to sit on, and even extra cushions from inside couldn't save how uncomfortable it was. Such a shame because its the best part of the property, they need a great comfy sectional out there. A note on the master bedroom--we had our toddler daughter staying with us in the room and there was a very high window that had a little blind but still made the room very bright when we put her down to sleep. Usually we bring our own black out curtains when we travel to block out as much light as possible, but we couldn't even reach this window to make the room totally dark.
Communication with the host was fantastic, they were always on hand and answered any questions, plus let us check in early. Lots of towels and blankets. There was sand everywhere on the floor and I did wonder if they had been washed, but sand might be inevitable when it is so close to the beach. I also loved that they allowed dogs, as so few places in Sylvan seem to, so this was a great bonus.
I would recommend to anyone looking for a bigger house in Sylvan Lake to stay here, as it had tons of space, great location and a well appointed kitchen.

Amazing house, view and beach
The house is lovely, beautifully decorated….very well stocked! Lots of room especially with the basement suite. The location is perfect with the beach right across a quiet road! We would definitely stay at Tammy’s house again!

Halcyon Days
We sought a well-appointed, spacious and convenient vacation spot, close to a large body of water, suitable for children, and this place easily accommodated our needs. Aaccess to the beach across the street was perfect, and the shallow, sandy waters enabled the youngsters to play happily all day with minimal supervision. Sunsets were spectacular fresh m the deck. The barbecue was relatively new with plenty of fuel. The wood fireplace and outdoor fire pit were a splendid touch, stocked with excellent dry firewood. The independent basement suite worked very well for the couple with a young toddler, and the additional fridge was a great for a large group. Overall we had a wonderful time and will be back.

This is a terrific home for a getaway at the lake.

Lots of space for gathering in the home and room to have your personal space, too. A great place to have a home away from home. Beach area is lovely and water is shallow for a long way out into the lake. Walking distance to Lakeshore Drive and lots of amenities nearby. Owner plans to install air conditioning which will make future stays even more comfortable. A little pricey, but we would love to go back. Owner responded very quickly to texts and emails - much appreciated.

The house is in an excellent location right across the road from the beach. It’s an excellent spot for small children as the water is very shallow. Close 5 minute drive to restaurants and other attractions.

Property was ideal location immediately across from the beach.
House was quite unclean unfortunately, white dog hair all over, sand and dirt and poplar fluff. Counters sticky and just generally really needed a vaccum and scrub. Front door and deck covered in webs and dead bugs. Barbecue and back deck covered in the same. We had to a lot of cleaning and that just didn’t make sense.
Also downside is there is no AC making it quite hot and stuffy.

This was our second time staying at Tammys place in Sylvan lake. Both times were equally amazing. The house is clean, comfy and beautiful. Has everything you could possibly need. The beach is right across the street with the perfect amount of shallow water for the kids to enjoy. I absolutely love this house and would come back again! Tammy is also great to communicate with.

Absolutely perfect accommodations!
We very much enjoyed staying at the house at Jarvis Bay! The view of the lake is stunning and access to the beach is just across the street. Easy for carrying the paddleboard and chairs to sit and enjoy! We have already booked for 2021 as we wanted to make sure we could stay again! My entire family LOVES it! That says it all!!

I really enjoyed my stay at Tammy‘s clean, comfy home. I appreciate the fact that Tammy uses organic cleaning products as I am vary sensitive to the strong smells of chemicals. It was very bright, spacious, and had relaxing beach vibes. It was really nice having the beach access right across the street and a clear view of the beautiful sunsets at night from the deck which I

Amazing Location
Right across from the beach! Place was amazing! What a wonderful place to spend my 65th Birthday with my family during the 2020 coronavirus! We had 6 adults and 4 children. Plenty of room for everyone!
Tammy and her sister Louise are the most amazing and accommodating hosts! Had a fabulous time with many memories!
