We loved that this house accommodated are large group of 4 families. Everyone had their own space and bathroom. There was plenty of room for parking, pool deck is big, furniture outside was nice. The house had new decking/rails, kitchen appliances, washer and dryer.

Just got back from our annual fishing trip where we stayed at Seas the Day. It worked out great. Did the bulk of our grocery shopping in Nags Head before heading to Salvo. The living room was great for group socializing then we old farts were able to disperse to our individual bedrooms. Only three minor gripes. 1) the dishwasher racks always come off the track, so it felt like you going to yank them out entirely when pulling them out. 2) the facing on the microwave is peeling, so it felt like it would peel off anytime you opened it. 3) no large frying pan. Really? All minor issues we adjusted to, but should be addressed.
All-in-all, nice house, very spacious, clean, good location, and enjoyed the labeling on cupboards and light switches.

We were hesitant to book after reading some reviews but decided to try it for ourselves and were happy we did! The pool was perfect and heated, hot tub and other amenities were great! All decking and railings are brand new, you can hear the traffic but it’s not that much of a distraction. If you want a more quiet area of OBX I would recommend. We would def book here again

We have stayed in a beach house for a week in Salvo, NC. When we checked into the house, it was NOT clean at all! all the floors were sandy and VERY dirty, there were ants EVERYWHERE (inside and outside of the home). There was NO bath towels at all in all the rooms, the door handle in the kitchen for the sliding door was broken off, the sliding door in the basement was off the tracks so you could barely open and close the door. There were crumbs underneath everyone's bed's. I found a sock and a water bottle underneath my bed. overall, the house is nice but the cleanliness of the house was an absolute 0!! we called and complained and it took them 3 days to come and fix the doors and give us bath towels.

This was our second time renting this house and the second time around was not so great. It could have been much cleaner. The floors were very dirty and covered in what seemed to be pet hair and sand. Vacasa was great at responding and brought us cleaning supplies. We were told out cleaning fee would be refunded, but that hasnt happened yet. We will see if it they remain true to their word.

We had 5 couples and 5 children staying at what was believed to be a really nice 3 story house for our first time vacation to OBX. What we had in great amenities during our stay was also accompanied by just as many issues. All of the bed rooms were decently sized, with plenty of closet and storage space. The pool was great, and although smaller than the pictures suggest, we still all fit and were able to enjoy it. It was clean and well kept as well as the hot tub. The location was nice, and beach access was fine. The kitchen was great, grille was great, easy parking.
The biggest issue we had was cleanliness and broken or missing things in the house. A few examples I can think of off hand: the 1 floor bathroom only had 1 lightbulb working, and most were actually missing from above the vanity, towel rack missing, toilet paper holder also missing, remote to the fan in the living room... MISSING! The second story door on the front of the house leaked when it rained one day.. water was pouring through and laying all over the foyer. the views from the 3rd floor were great, but the railing could fall over any moment. Not even an adult should be near it, never mind children. We actually read this in review in 2019 and had assumed (our mistake) that it would have been taken care of in the last 3 years. The slider door on the 2nd floor bedroom does not lock, and the door out on the 1st floor would swing open if it was too windy, even when we followed their directions taped to the wall on how to jimmy it shut so we had to keep it locked most of the time.
Our kids feet were BLACK after walking barefoot for a day in the house and there were plenty of items left behind under furniture that clearly shows nothing has been moved in ages to be thoroughly cleaned.
I also had asked Vacasa a month prior to the trip if we could check in at 4pm rather than 6. They have a texting service for Customer Service (which I thought was nice because I waited on hold twice for over 40 minutes before giving up) I had in writing that it was OK to check in at 4. We all planned travel times and then was told 2 days before that that was wrong and they wouldn't honor it. Then cleaning was behind and we didnt get in until AFTER 6pm.
For the price in OBX, this house served it's purpose and thankfully we made the best of it. We have all agreed to spring for the more expensive houses and will not be choosing a Vacasa rental for our vacation next season.

Our family vacation consisted of 5 adults, 6 teens, a three year old and one year old twins. The house was great and we all had plenty of space to spread out. Loved the basketball area, pool, hot tub, air hockey, pool table and foose ball table. The beach was about a 10 minute walk and the Salvo Day Use beach on the sound was wonderful. I would definitely rent this house again!

12 hrs away from home.
The railing system around the house is unsafe. They failed to have the pool heated after we spent $200 to heat for 3 days. Dust bunnies under every bed. Floor was sandy when we arrived. Was suppose to be non smoking but found multiple cigarette butts also half a joint. So cleaning and being organized is not a plus for the housekeepers. And somebody hasssss to know about the rails. Thats unsafe for anyoneeeeee. Hope somebody understands the issues.

NO Water!
Owners should do a better job of paying their water bill for this vacation rental. We had no water from 10:30-5 one day. We were being told the meter was being exchanged but no one forewarned us that the water would be cut off. After 3 maintenance people finally came out it was discovered that the main water valve had a lock on it and had actually been shut off due to non payment. This is totally unacceptable in a vacation rental property! We were told there would be some kind of compensation for this but only got an "I am sorry for the inconvenience".

Place wasn't clean upon arrival.
A sandwich that wasn't from us, was found under a bed when we looked under a bed to make sure we didn't leave anything while leaving.
Ice maker didn't work
Golden tee machine doesn't work.
Pool is super small compared to the pictures.
Back door wouldn't lock. Not very secure.

Peaceful vacation
What an amazing location! We alternated between the beach and the bayside. The beds were so comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook all week. The pool was an absolute must after the severe warm week. Will come back next year.

Overall good experience
Overall good experience. I would rent again. House was in pretty good shape. We had some issues with slow drains. It was quickly corrected. My understanding is there is a critical shortage of cleaning and maintenance personnel

The property was very dirty, floors were nasty. I even found a dead frog in the master bedroom 3rd floor, the jet tub did not work. There was cereal on the floor, hair and dust bunnies under the beds. The shower drain on the 1st floor (with the attached rooms) was clogged so it drained very slowly, We stopped using it. Also the sliding patio door on the 1st floor was hard to open and close, we couldn't lock it. King bedroom on the 2nd floor (with sliding patio doors) restroom was dirty still had pee in the toilet when we arrived. 3rd floor living room couches were nasty there was food in between the cushions. Dirty dishes in the cabinets. Hot Tub was not very hot and there were no steps to use to get into it. Again you get what u pay for, this property was not expensive so I guess this makes sense as to why there were so many issues. We recorded our arrival so we have many of the issue on video.I wouldn't recommend this property to anyone. Keep looking, pay a little more for something better.

Would come back again!
We read some other reviews and were a little nervous as to what to expect. But we were pleasantly surprised upon arrival. It was very nice! The description and photos are completely accurate. We would definitely stay here again!

Property was clean but many things need to be repaired. Hot tub never did get above 90 degrees. and if your older just remember there are a lot of steps. Nice house for the price.

Awful!
If I could give this place a zero rating I would for sure! I have no idea where the other reviewer stayed but it COULD NOT have been this place. This is completely unsafe for children. We had 9 children with us. Both third floor decks had spindles loose. On the front deck the spindles were held together with ZIP TIES!!! The back deck wasn't held on by anything just hanging there. I never let my children go out on those two decks because I didn't feel safe at all. And in EVERY room there were power strips attached to the walls...which means all of the cords for the TV and the dvd players and the cable were all hanging off of the power strip from the wall. My toddler could've easily put her fingers in the socket no problem! SO SO trashy! The grill almost caught fire. It was dirty and the bottom part of the grill where the tank is was completely rusted out. My husband came in from grilling with no arm hair and his eyebrows were singed. And then the worst part is he opened the lid and the screw to hold it on just fell off. Ridiculous. The Hottub went psycho on us. After turning it off it kept turning back on spewing water everywhere. The Switch didn't work for it. Unusable. There were light fixtures that were missing and in the master bathroom the light in the shower didn't work. One of the King sized beds had a full size comforter on it which meant that one of us was always cold because we couldn't cover ourselves. We couldn't close the basement door that led to the pool...which meant we could never lock it. Completely unsafe for children. And to top it all off the place was disgustingly dirty. Whoever cleaned the place did an awful job. There was a TAMPON wrapper on one of the beds, cigarette butts all over the place, a half empty bottle of whiskey sitting on one of the porches, dishes were dirty and there was a DEAD frog in the basement (inside the house). Oh and I don't want to forget to mention that this house sits DIRECTLY on the main busiest street...so your backyard with the pool your view is loud cars driving by and the stench of the recycling center behind you. All in all I would say that this house was awful!!! I would NEVER come back and I definitely would NEVER recommend it to ANYONE!!!! Pay a little more and rent something else! It's unsafe and honestly our vacation was not fun because of all the crap with this house!

Beautiful home! Safe for children, but would have liked the comforters on the bed to be cleaned.
Beautiful home!! We enjoyed ourselves. Would have liked the comforters on the bed to be cleaned, but otherwise, very clean. Would recommend this property for people with toddlers!! There were approx. 10 of us there and everyone had plenty of room.
