Simply put… the view is breathtaking! You really can’t get much better than this if you want a fantastic view.
This cabin had everything we needed plus more to make our trip great. The beds in both rooms are extremely comfortable, however the pullout in the sofa is not comfortable at all.
We had one near visitor our last evening. Our family loved watching him walk through the driveway.
Host is excellent with communication and very friendly! Thank you again for such an amazing place to stay!

View was great. Driveway was treacherous. Would like to have seen that in the description. Sofa and love seat should be replaced (worn out). Didn't notice in the description that the fireplace is electric. Would have skipped if we'd seen that. Overall we had a nice visit. Just suggesting upgrades. Need a cutting board. Dishwasher didn't clean well.

Oh my gosh, we loved it! The cabin was amazing, the view of the mountains was amazing, the host was amazing! I can't say enough good things about this place. I just hate we couldn't stay longer. This is one of those places that makes you wish you lived there! I 100% recommend Awesome Views!

We had a great time at the house! It was a convenient location to the entrance of Smokey mountains and didn’t have to fight all the downtown traffic in gatlinburg when going to the national park.
We also had a family of 4 bears visit us twice during our stay which made for an entertaining evening (to say the least!)
Our views were great … we were able to experience all the seasons in 5 days . Our temperatures varied from 82- SNOWING!

This is a very cozy house in the mountains that is exceptionally clean! All amenities as described, beautiful deck and view. Internet worked flawlessly. Close enough to downtown to access easily, but away from the traffic and crowds. Steep roads up to the house and steep driveway if you're not used to that, but that is the case with all of the houses up in this area! We needed to communicate with the owner upon arrival and she was easily accessible and helpful. We had a wonderful time and would stay here again if we come back to the area.

Beautiful View with high deck overlooking the road where a mama bear and three cubs walked by. LOVED seeing them from the deck.

Super clean, helpful owner, amazing view as advertised. No issues at all, was a great weekend and would highly recommend.

The cabin was spotless and decorated for the holidays- so cozy. The bed was super comfortable and the view from the deck was breathtaking. The host was quick to respond when we had an internet question. Be aware the driveway to the cabin is extremely steep with a sharp turn which was tricky and a nail-biting experience for our big SUV. The best part was we saw a black bear in the neighborhood which was great fun to watch from the safety of our car!

Our stay was just what we'd hoped for. A short drive from the busy downtown scene, our chalet was comfortable, spacious and clean and our views were awesome. All four of us have agreed we will be back. Thank you!

I enjoyed my stay at the cabin. It was just what I needed to get away and enjoy some time to myself. I would definitely do it again!
The cabin itself was nothing short of amazing, views and all!

We had a blast on our mountain getaway! Everyone had things to do at the cabin. (Played pool, ping pong, worked puzzles and played checkers and chess-all included at cabin) Everyone loved the hot tub. Kids age range 8-15. The view was amazing. Everything was super clean! Beds were comfortable. There was the best pizza place right down the road. (They even deliver!) The drive to downtown Gatlinburg was less than a 10 minutes. The driveway is steep, but I would let that deter you. It flattens off at the top to park. (Our full size Silverado had no issues.) Loved the location! HIGHLY recommend and would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay. The view is one of the best around! The driveway can be challenging, although don't let that stop you from staying here. It's close to town, the hot tub was clean, doesn't have a lot jets. Not a "big" cabin but perfect for a small family or group. The host is great, and we really enjoyed our stay here. We would recommend this cabin.

This house was a great location. Beautiful views and easy to get an Uber to downtown Gatlinburg. House was also very clean and a great layout for 3 or 4 adults.
Would be much better if the hot tub was on the upper deck instead of the lower level in the driveway. Would prefer to have a view of the scenery instead of our car. It was also very cold having to walk down the steps and across the walkway/lower deck to get to the hot tub.
Signage could also be more inviting, instead of only saying negative things that happen if you don't follow rules. We felt like we were being yelled at with each sign we read.
Overall, a very nice cabin with a great view. A few little tweaks and this would be one of our favorites because of the inside layout and ease of getting downtown.

What a great experience at Awesome View! The property was just as described and was one of the best cabins we have ever rented. The cabin was extremely clean and well furnished. Other than having a tight driveway for my full size lifted truck, my wife and I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a true mountain view experience!! The owner was extremely helpful from start to finish. On a scale from 1-10, our stay was definitely a “10”.
Thanks Christie!!!

We stayed 3 nights in Awesome View. The cabin was one of the cleanest places we've ever stayed. The mountain views were spectacular. The cabin provided everything we needed and we enjoyed ping pong, pool, and the hot tub. We saw several bears on the drive to the cabin. We also used a few of their food recommendations (Pancake Pantry, Chocolate Monkey, Ski Mountain Pizza, and Best Italian Pizzeria and Cafe) and all were great.

The cabin was very nice and was clean. The view is definitely as stated- awesome. Our entire family loved the amenities there- hot tub, pool table, etc. The only real downsides were these:
1. The bed in the master bedroom was not very supportive at all. It wasn't something I escalated to the owner, as it wasn't necessarily clearly broken, but just seemed to sag a lot. (I'm not a big guy either).
2. I think the ad under-stresses the challenge of driveway and roads leading to the cabin, specifically for people driving vehicles that are slightly larger/longer (we had a minivan). Although the ad does state that it is steep (which for steepness alone, I was ok with) it is also was extremely tight, and includes a 180 degree switchback, half way up it (which was a bit scary while turning). Also backing in and out of the top of the driveway directly in front of the cabin was kind of a pain. There was a small cutout in the hill do this, but it was not at all easy or convenient to do every time you came and went. If you have a medium or short length car, it is no problem and you shouldn't be worried in summer (maybe a little scary for some)... but if you have a full size pickup/SUV or a minivan, I'd probably suggest a different cabin.
3. While the cabin is only 2 miles out of Gatlinburg as stated in the ad, it typically took 10 mins in good traffic to get there on terribly tight, blind curve roads, that had no edge to prevent a tire from going off and dropping the car onto the pavement (I wasn't worried so much about rolling down the hill cuz the trees were there, but the pavement edges have a 1ft to 1.5ft straight drop on each side). In most traffic during the day it took 15 - 20 mins to or from Gatlinburg... and about the same to get to two of the pools (not all pools were open each day). Anyways between the traffic and the roads/driveway, it prevented us from really getting into Gatlinburg as much as we likely would have.
Having said that, we did really enjoy it a lot, and our kids absolutely loved it.

Such a lovely cabin. From the moment we walked in the door we felt at home! Everything is so beautiful and clean. The furniture and decor are so cozy. The beds are big and comfy! It was so cute to see my two teenage daughters in their big bed every morning! We did a lot while we were there but did try to squeeze in "cabin" time by waking up a little early to have tea out on the deck to watch the beautiful view or coming home early to soak in the hot tub and we played pool every evening! The upstairs where the pool table is was so convenient; there's a bathroom, music, a nice table, chairs, and even a little mini fridge and wet bar! The sunsets out on the deck are just amazing and the moon was full and gorgeous over the mountain!
Gatlinburg was really fun but extremely crowded as we were there at peak time in July. However, we were able to get into restaurants quicker than we thought. We didn't make reservations and if they said a 45 minute wait, it only took 20-30 minutes. Our favorite was the Smoky Mountain Brewery (great beer and food and very reasonably priced), loved Big Daddy's (great pizza), and Calhoun's was great too. You can park in the parking lot above Calhoun's, Cherokee Grill, and Smoky Mountain Brewery and if you eat at one of the three, keep your receipt to get free parking (up to three hours).
We enjoyed walking downtown and there are so many cute little shops. Our favorite group of shops was "The Village Shops," which is close to Anakeesta which is a must see and awesome photo opportunity. Reserve zip line early if you want to go as they were sold out when we got there.
We did some hiking and our favorite was the Indian Falls trail. It was pretty easy and there is a beautiful waterfall at the top! Dollywood was fun but again super crowded. Coasters are amazing and it is a beautiful park.
Be sure to hit the Smoky Mountain Winery if you like wine. It is off the busy path of Gatlinburg, so not so commercialized. It's just wine and we had a great time tasting. The lady who was working knew a lot about the wine and was fun to be around!
All in all this was a great vacation and we would definitely stay at this cabin again!

My husband and I stayed here with our 18 and 20 y.o. daughters. We enjoyed coffee every morning on the deck, watching the sun come up and watching clouds roll in! We enjoyed playing pool and ping pong in the evenings and slept comfortably in the beds. The neighborhood has many steep roads and the driveway was difficult to get up with our front wheel drive SUV. We loved the location as you feel you're all alone with nature, but you're only minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. We saw bears roaming the neighborhood a few times.

I drive a 2 wheel drive explorer and it was rough getting up the drive. Other than that it was PERFECT! We saw 2 bears in the drive one morning along with 11 more around the drive up to the cabin during the week. I will say don’t touch your vehicle door handles after eating without washing because we had bears try to get in the car and scratched the door. The cabin was great comfortable beds and beautiful views!!

The driveway to this cabin is not made for lower vehicles as we both had SUVs, and one still drug coming up the hill. Once you get the hang of pulling in, it was fine. The view is amazing, as the name states. My family enjoyed breakfast and dinner on the deck a couple of times. There are a few restaurants that delivers here. The cabin has a lot to offer. The game room was great for the kids, they hot tub was great, and there was always something for my teens to do-that was a plus! The beds are huge and comfy. My only complaint is the bathrooms are extremely small. Two ppl cannot fit in the bathroom to get ready at the same time. We managed. We had a bear at the cabin 3 nights in a row. We finally got pics of him the last day we was there.
Overall, I was impressed with the cabin.
