Disappointing. False 'beachfront' advert; False 'AC'/kitchen room advert.

Lovely small garden and clean pool.

Booking confirmed for room with AC. Upon arrival, we were informed the AC room was unavailable and given non-AC room with fans. Despite advert, the room had no kitchen sink, no stove for cooking. And despite 'beachfront' claim, the property is cut off from the beach by a long wall. The only beach access is found by walking a half-kilometer north, then walking through a gauntlet of shops to find the "public beach" entry..

Soddisfacente

La struttura è molto vicina alla spiaggia, meno di 5 minuti a piedi. Le stanze sono spaziose e l'appartamento è ben fornito. Il personale è molto gentile e ci ha aiutato molto per quanto riguarda informazioni sulla zona.

Non è semplice trovarlo a livello di posizione. La posizione su Google Maps non coincide con quella attuale.

Worth the price

Walking distance to the beach ( 7 min), The pool is neat , the staff are so friendly, shout out to Marvin, Juliet and Samuel and also it is surrounded by trees,nothing fancy but worth the price

Trust the pictures not the details, I booked thinking i was getting a pool view since it was mentioned in the details of my room but when I asked the manager, He showed me pictures of my room through booking.com and He said I should have checked the pictures not the details of the room and another thing is that the paying on arrival, you will pay according to their rate, I went to exchange, 1$=145 Ksh and when I paid the manager said 1$ = 148 Ksh, anyway I had good time there

Exceptional

What a great stay, only regret we have is not staying longer! Thanks to all the staff who are all very friendly and willing to help whenever you ask for something. We stayed in family suite, an excellent little kitchen, hot water, and a smart tv. The pool is cleaned daily, and the beach is only small walk away. We'll be back in July 👍🏻

The staff and pool were nice, mattresses are comfortable

There are two large shepherds on the property that are constantly barking at night, the rooms often have no running water There was mice poop all over the kitchen They are not beachfront, but a 7-10minute walk from the beach

Has what you need and nothing more

The pool was nice and the fans kept us cool.

This place is really run down, we had mice in our kitchen, hotel dogs barking all night, water turned off a lot day and night. This place is not beachfront and does not have a restaurant.

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable pseudo-honeymoon experience at Tradewind's Resort!

The location was very quiet and secluded.

The environment is very calm and very clean. Polite staff who were always around and ready to help.

Felt at home

Excellent position, very clean, friendly staff. The rooms and apartments are surrounded by plants and trees, monkeys move around and it is a pleasure to sit outside in the morning and watch them. The apartment was clean and had enough space to accomodate our family. The kitchen is fully furnished and allows cooking meals at home. The swimming pool was always clean and well maintained. Staff always ready to give us suggestions on what to visit and where to eat/drink in Diani. We felt at home and really appreciated it. Definitely recommended.

We did not like having planned only few days of stay, knowing the place we would have given more time to explore Diani and enjoy Tradewinds lodge.

Very good

The service is really great. Friendly staff and managers. Friendly dogs too ! From the start booking to check in to check out the service was smooth, communication was seemless . They really want you to enjoy your time in Diani. And they have great service to back it up. When Electricity failed they labored to provide back up generator power. Good Hosts! Good location pocket friendly Good choice if you are looking for basic comfortable stay in Diani.

No in-house restaurant or food service but they do provide amenities to prep your own meals. My room had open uncovered windows not so private especially considering it was on a path. Upside great natural lighting.

Tradewinds perfect holiday vacay

This was an excellent vacay. The squad at this place was amazing. Gordon, Bruno and everyone else. The pool was so good The host were very friendly and kept us company. Very close to the beach. Clean environment The dogs helped scare away the monkey that tried to snatch snacks from my son The kitchen was very good

Wonderful swimming pool, and mature gardens Great location a pleasant 5 min walk from the beautiful Diani Beach Very good value for money Nice dogs, plenty of monkey activity to keep you amused

Noisy neighbours - our rooms at the back of the property were close to others. We were a bit disturbed by music from radio, TV, and others' phone conversations early in the morning and sometimes also late evening. We were told by management they are considering double-glazing all windows to remedy this. But if you're bothered by noise, this might not be the place for you Also the hot water worked only for our first day.

The people make this place a paradise to stay at!

The staff at this property is exceptional; friendly, helpfull and very hospital! The swimming pool is clean and the room is spacious. Plus the beach is 2 minutes walk away and the nearest shop maximum 10 minutes walk. We loved our stay here!

The room is very hot and the shared toilet and shower is slightly inconvenient, but we knew about the shared facilities before. Otherwise, no complaints!
